Transfer Balls: Spurs sell Bale to Madrid and AVB stuffs his guarantee

TRANSFER Balls: Is Gareth Bale leaving Spurs for Real Madrid? Yes.

The Telegraph says Bale is on his way to Real for £85m.

Barcelona’s manager, Gerardo Martino, says the fee is “a lack of respect to the world in general”.

That’s Barcelona who tap up other team’s players and paid €60m (£51.3m) on the Brazil forward Neymar. Barcelona are not, as their self-aggrandising motto goes “more than club”. They are a club as vain as Real, shallow as Chelsea and as desperate as Manchester City. By the way, Martino earns around £7m a year.

Are The Avengers Going To Lose An Avenger?

If there were any group of film characters that we thought were safe from needing to be avenged, it would be The Avengers!

However, in a recent interview, Avengers writer-director Joss Whedon let the world know that no one is safe. He talked about the possibility that one of the Marvel’s magnificent seven six (plus Nick Fury) could get the axe hammer:

“I’m always joking about that. Um…maybe?”

Haha! Good joke, Josh…wait, “maybe?” No! Don’t you go all Game of Thrones on us and start killing off characters we’ve grown probably unhealthy attached to!

Plus, we as a society can’t take any more people with the last name Stark dying. Ever. (Cue: Rains of Castamere and us sobbing.)

Joss continued, basically saying that, before we start imagining the Hulk sleeping with the fishes, we should know that no character’s death is certain as of right now, and the decision to terminate is not taken lightly:

“But I’d have to have a really good reason, a really great sequence for [Marvel executives] to go, ‘We’ll cut off a potential franchise, that’s fine!’ They know as any good studio does, that without some stakes, some real danger, how involved can we get? We don’t just rule it out across the board, but neither is the mission statement ‘Who can we kill?’ We try to build the story organically and go, ‘How hard can we make it on these people?’ You go to the movies to see people you love suffer – that’s why you go to the movies.”

Well, that makes us feel slightly better. Sort of. Very slightly.

Now, if you’ll excuse, we have to hug our Thor stuffed animal for a couple of hours, and shake in a fetal position.

Someone’s REALLY excited to chow down!

A beaming Britney Spears joined BF David Lucado for a finger-lickin’ good lunch yesterday at Tony Roma’s in El Lay.

We don’t even have to wonder why Brit was grinning ear-to-ear…

Not only did gurlfriend get to dig into a heaping slab of ribs, but we’re sure she also got to enjoy her man for dessert.

Mmmmmm!

So much better than prepping for the VMAs! HA!

Chrissy Teigen SLAMS Miley Cyrus “Bear A** Eating” VMAs Performance

Chrissy Teigen was NOT a fan of Miley Cyrus’ raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

The Sports Illustrated model took to Twitter to criticize the racy set, which featured Cyrus gyrating on massive teddy bears on twerking on Robin Thicke while wearing tiny booty shorts.

Teigen tweeted on Monday, “I loved ‘we can’t stop’ when it was innocent & fun and not associated with eating the a** out of a bear.”

The beauty then responded to backlash from followers, saying she’s less bothered by the lyrics of “We Can’t Stop,” which include references to drug use and strip clubs, then Cyrus’ performance of the tune at the VMAs.

Teigen wrote, “Popping molly and shaking it at a strip club is more innocent to me than bear a** eating yes f**ktards stop blowing sh*t out of proportion.”

She added, “Miley just discovered twerking like I just discovered snap bracelets and trapper keepers except I didn’t just discover them let her live.”

John Legend’s fiancé had previously weighed in on the pop star’s performance while it was happening, tweeting on Sunday night, “What if miley is just like us and woke up and is like guys what happened last night.”

Teigen is known for speaking her mind on Twitter, and once received death threats on the social networking site after dissing Chris Brown.

What do you think of Teigen’s comments about Cyrus?

Anne Hathaway Hits The Market With Her Hubby And Her HUMONGOUS Hat!

If Anne Hathaway‘s hat were any bigger, it would be a beach umbrella!

She wasn’t taking any chances over the weekend when she and her husband Adam Shulman walked around the Farmer’s Market in Beverly Hills. Annie had to protect her porcelain skin from the harmful rays of the sun!

With her floppy headwear and her oversized shades, Anne did her best to blend in with the crowd. She and her man grabbed a coffee and purchased some organic produce that was overflowing out of her purse!

Ooo! What’s for din din you two?

Both Annie and Adam kept it casual. Anne wore a plain button-down shirt, skinny jeans and some slip-on shoes while Adam wore a Stephen Stills t-shirt and some sneaks.

We hope you avoided a sun burn, Ms. Hathaway!
