The baby’s mother was changing her child’s nappy when the monkey struck.

The other testicle was retrieved.

SIMON Cowell has spoken to defend his girlfriend Lauren Silverman — insisting the woman who’s carrying his first child has been unfairly portrayed as a “gold digger.”

The X Factor supremo — who is expecting his first child with the New York socialite — became headline news back in July when the baby story first broke amid claims he had been named in Silverman’s divorce papers by her now ex-husband Andrew.

Cowell confessed he found the situation “kind of uncomfortable” at first but has since calmed down, and he is adamant Silverman was treated unfairly after the news emerged.

“It was kind of uncomfortable, you know, the situation. But these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I’m happy. I’m actually happier than I’ve ever been,” he said.

“I obviously can’t blame the media — it was kind of what I call a juicy story. But there was a lot of stuff that was said about her: that she trapped me and that she’s a gold-digger. It’s absolute nonsense. She’s a great girl but, like I said, it was awkward because of the circumstances.”

Meanwhile, the baby will reportedly be born in the UK.

“He is thrilled that the baby will be born in England. He and Lauren have taken the decision based on what is best for the baby and they’ve chosen the UK,” a source said.

“Because Simon has to be in the UK for Britain’s Got Talent at the time, it’s the only option.

“He wants to be at Lauren’s side when she gives birth and wants to be with his son after he’s born.”

Last we heard, Jennie Garth was dating musician Jeremy Salken. Well, Jeremy’s yesterday’s news. Here’s Jennie with her new guy, internet executive Michael Shimbo.

The couple hung out to watch Jennie’s daughters’ soccer games yesterday. It looks like Michael’s been dating Jennie for a while. At least, he seems very comfortable with her daughters as well as Jennie. Go Jennie! It’s not easy to date with kids, but she’s doing well post-divorce.

Looks like our favorite country diva Carrie Underwood is literally ‘blown away’!

The American Idol alum tripped over in her 5-inch heels — 5 INCHES! — while singing on stage last week in Texas!

However, she just shrugged it off and continued singing, just like the total performer that she really is.

Caught by an audience member named jenniferr2015 on Instagram, the clip shows Carrie falling to the floor as her shoe got caught on her long shirt. Ouch!

The incident led the music superstar to get a large cast for her left foot, where she said ”Good news, it’s not broken…AND I got some new footwear!” alongside.

Carrie even made fun of the whole thing on Twitter.

“Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious! Oh wait, that was me! #5inchheels #klutz,” the songstress says on a separate post.

For this year, Underwood sings the famous Sunday Night Football theme, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night?“, which P!nk originated in 2006.

OUCH. This is my first sighting of Suri Cruise’s cast since hearing that she broke her arm. Katie Holmes took Suri for a little pampering at a salon. Suri doesn’t seem to think her cast is too chic. She covered it up with a blanket before leaving the salon with Katie.

People reports Suri’s cast has been autographed by family and friends. Apparently, one message on the cast reads “No butt smacking with this!” At least everyone is keeping their sense of humor about the injury- LOL. Broken bones are part of being a kid, right?

After J.Lo dropped in to perform with Swifty at one of her El Lay concerts, it seems the ladiez decided the world needed more of them together. And that is DAYUM true!

It’s being reported that they will work on a new song that will appear on J.Lo’s next album, which will be released early next year. We’re not the only ones pumped for the rumored project as an insider revealed:

“Both of them are huge fans of each other and excited to work together!”

We can’t even imagine what these two starlets will create together!

If their recent performance together is any hint, it’s going to be pure fire!
