MICHELLE Obama is a monster!

The First Lady allegedly doles out daily doses of abuse, cruel punishments, and humiliation to her terrified staffers – and her emotion­ally battered husband, Barack Obama, according to American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“The White House has turned into the ‘White House of Horrors!’” a top Washington insider revealed.

“Michelle has been labeled a ‘ruthless mon­ster’ for bullying not only Barack, but her loyal staff. She dishes out abuse and punish­ment for the slightest of infractions. She doesn’t give a damn who she humiliates, even the presi­dent. Her screaming tantrums have become more frequent and even Barack is complaining, ‘Michelle is torturing me!’

“If there’s a divorce coming, Barack is losing the battle, but he’s sticking in his loveless marriage for the sake of his legacy.”

Former White House assistant press secretary Reid Cherlin, who worked for the Obamas from 2008 through 2011, pulled no punches in a recent ar­ticle about the nightmare that’s going on at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., pro­claiming that Michelle has turned the White House East Wing, where she rules, into “the Worst Wing.”

In the piece, published in the New Republic, Cherlin wrote: “(The) first lady’s office can be a confining, frus­trating, even miserable place to work.

“Jealousy and discontentment have festered, as courtiers squabble over the allocation of responsibility and ac­cess to Mrs. Obama, both of which can be aggravatingly scarce.

“While Michelle has been slammed for destroying the ‘East Wing,’ where the first lady’s offices are located, the fact is she’s made the fa­mous ‘West Wing,’ where the president works, the worst wing because when she comes over she makes Barack’s staffers walk on egg shells because of her explosive behavior – which seems to only grow worse each and every day.

“She’s tough as nails, and has really high expectations. That can be hard for some people.

“Her events are planned months in advance, and Michelle is such a perfectionist that staffers are often ter­rorized. If you get it wrong, you will be tortured by being made to do tedious, trivial tasks as punishment.

“For example, Michelle goes out a lot with her girlfriends. She’s always ask­ing staff to make sure certain things are on the menus. She’s very particular. Once she ended up at one of her favor­ite spots and they didn’t have what she wanted, and there was hell to pay for the staffer who called in advance.”

We LOVE Foxes!

We fist posted about the British songstress in May of 2012.

In March of 2013 we had her perform at our big SXSW party. And then later than year the world heard her voice on the monster global smash that was Zedd‘s Clarity.

Well, after taking her time to get it right, Foxes has just dropped her debut album and it’s glorious. Literally!

The album and current single is called Glorious, and thankfully it lives up to its name!

This is some Florence & The Machine realness! Simultaneously ethereal AND moody!

The song starts off small and builds and builds and finally explodes into pop epicness!

Drake performed hilarious ballads about sports stars who come up short and athletes’ mistresses during Wednesday’s ESPY Awards.

The rapper-singer started off with the new song called “Honorable Mention,” before debuting “Side Pieces.”

He was even joined by Brian McKnight for the latter.

The host closed out with a rap video mashing up his song “Worst Behavior” with Donald Sterling’s infamous racist statements to make the disgraced Clippers owner say things like, “I like gorgeous black guys.”

DJ David Guetta is having a tough time with his divorce.

According to our friends at the New York Post, the divorce between David and his wife Cathy has hit a sour note.

The split, sources say, has gotten nasty as they try to divide their assets.

“Cathy owns all of the business names, and the music [rights], [including] their ‘F*ck Me I’m Famous’ brand” of dance parties and popular compilation albums,” a source said.

“Even though [their divorce] is finalized, things are not good.”

Another music insider said: “She’s taking a lot of his money. He’s worth $ 30 million, she’ll probably take $ 15 million of that.”

But many dance music insiders aren’t surprised, given that Cathy collaborated with David during most of the 22 years they were married and helped him grow into an international music sensation.

“He’s the rock star,” said a source of David, who has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Usher, Madonna and The Black Eyed Peas, “but she’s the business mogul.”

IT’S a common enough idea, that you need to practice at something for 10,000 hours to actually be any good at it. And that might well be true, too. However, the idea does sometimes (ie, in almost all of he UK education system) get mixed up with the idea that if you do 10,000 hours practice then you will be good at something. And that just ain’t true.

The idea that all children can be anything they want to be has deep roots in the UK educational system. If only people were educated in just the right manner then anyone at all could become a doctor, a pilot, a politician. Looking around of course that last has happened bu the other two not so much. And we’re constantly told that it really is only inherited privilege that stops everyone from having prices. This is known as the “tabula rasa” argument and it’s complete bollocks of course.

Quite apart from anything else if skills, aptitudes and intelligence were not inheritable then we’d have a hell of a time explaining how evolution happened.

But back to our 10,000 hours argument. That much practice is a necessary condition for being really good at something but not a sufficient one:

More than 20 years ago, researchers proposed that individual differences in performance in such domains as music, sports, and games largely reflect individual differences in amount of deliberate practice, which was defined as engagement in structured activities created specifically to improve performance in a domain. This view is a frequent topic of popular science writing–but is it supported by empirical evidence? To answer this question, we conducted a meta-analysis covering all major domains in which deliberate practice has been investigated. We found that deliberate practice explained 26% of the variance in performance for games, 21% for music, 18% for sports, 4% for education, and less than 1% for professions. We conclude that deliberate practice is important, but not as important as has been argued.

It is necessary to have the initial talent, the aptitude, as well as the practice. It just isn’t true that every unique little snowflake can be whatever they want to be.

“Jen & Justin’s Separate Lives” reads the headline of an OK! story that claims Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s relationship has become “increasingly fractured” as the actor films “The Leftovers” in New York.

According to the tabloid, Aniston always thought Theroux planned on settling in California, and was crushed when he admitted in a recent interview that his goal is to be bicoastal.

“She was led to believe that Justin was only in New York to focus on his new show and other work projects,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine.

Aniston “feels manipulated” because she was been ready to start a family for years and “wasn’t aware of his true intentions,” adds another supposed “source” for the tab.

To pile on more, OK! says “insiders” claim Aniston “feels so out of place” when she’s with Theroux in New York because she thinks his friends don’t like her.

Sound familiar?

That’s because OK! keeps reporting the same bogus stories over and over again.

This is the same outlet that untruthfully claimed Aniston’s pals were trying to stop her wedding, falsely reported a “blowout” with Courteney Cox over who will get married first, and fabricated a story about The Break-Up star still talking to John Mayer.

Then there are the multiple made up pregnancy stories.

It’s beyond embarrassing.

Oh, and it’s laughable that Aniston “feels so out of place” in New York, where she grew up.

Regardless, a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that this story is completely “false… not a shred of truth.”

She previously posed in a diamond encrusted bra for Playboy to show that ‘mothers can still be sexy’. Denise Richards showed she was still one hot mother as she showed off her incredibly toned bikini body whilst on the beach with nine-year-old daughter Lola in LA on Monday.
