Britney Spears’ conservatorship may go on indefinitely. The singer has been under conservatorship since January 2008 after her well-documented meltdown in late 2007, which resulted in her being placed on a psychiatrist hold.

Her father Jamie Spears has been her conservator since the beginning, and reportedly everyone is so satisfied with how things are going, there seems to be no reason to have the conservatorship end. (At one point, Spears’ former fiance Jason Trawick was a co-conservator as well.) Jamie’s responsibilities as a conservator are to ensure his daughter is OK day-to-day and that her finances are being run properly, both of which were a mess several years ago.

As you’ll recall, there were such incidents as when Spears locked herself in a bathroom with Jayden, shaved her head, and took an umbrella to Kevin Federline’s car. Those days, however, are long gone and seem almost unbelievable compared to how Spears comports herself these days. By all accounts, Spears has been a good mom to her two sons, and she’s had a number of healthy relationships.

With everything going smoothly in her personal life, and Spears making and retaining big-money, TMZ says the conservatorship could go on “indefinitely,” and no one, including the singer has a problem with that. Tell Gossip Cop what you think about Spears continuing her conservatorship.

“Bachelor In Paradise” kicked off its second season on Sunday with 16 former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants meeting up at the resort Playa Escondida in Sayulita, Mexico. The season premiere began with the two contestants going on dates, several hooking up, one being rushed to a hospital, and a surprise visitor.

In order of arrival were Jade Roper (from Chris Soules’ season), Jared Haibon (from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season), Tenley Molzahn (from Jake Pavelka’s season), Carly Waddell (from Chris Soules’ season), Jonathan Holloway (from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season), Tanner Tolbert (from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season), Mikey Tenerelli (from Desiree Hartsock’s season), and Ashley Iaconetti (from Chris Soules’ season). Ashley brought along her younger sister, Lauren Iaconetti, who we learn is a “sluttier” version of her. Lauren tells Chris Harrison she’s “the opposite of a virgin.”

Next, there was Juelia Kinney (from Chris Soules’ season), Kirk DeWindt (from Ali Fedotowsky season), Dan Cox (from Desiree Hartsock’s season), Jillian Anderson (from Chris Soules’ season), JJ Lane (from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season), and Ashley Salter (from Chris Soules’ season). But being that it’s “Bachelor In Paradise,” there was a surprise visitor later.

After they all met, Harrison said he had a surprise for the contestants on the beach. Once they arrived, they saw it was all set up for a ceremony. Some were afraid it was the first rose ceremony, but as Gossip Cop previously reported, it was the surprise wedding of Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, who met last year on the show. Grodd proposed to Faddoul on the season finale of last year’s “Bachelor In Paradise.” Everyone quickly realized it was a wedding when Grodd hit the beach in a seersucker suit. Lacy then walked down the aisle in a white dress. Marcus and Lacy’s families and friends also were in attendance.

Marcus and Lacy first read their own vows to each other, and then Harrison actually officiated the wedding. After they kissed for the first time as husband and wife, the newlyweds then toasted this year’s “Bachelor In Paradise” contestants, wishing that they too find love. Lacy then tossed her bouquet, which Juelia caught.

After that, this year’s contestants had an extended party on the beach and at the pool, where there was lots of drinking and a bit of early hooking up. Carly and Kirk were the first to make out on the beach. Much like her time on “The Bachelor,” Ashley I. cried, this time because Jade was talking to Jared, who she really likes.

The next day, while hanging out over lunch and drinks, Ashley I. got the first date card, which told her to “choose a man to get dirty with.” She picked Jared, even though it seemed like he didn’t want to go out with her. But he was happy to ride with her in an ATV through a jungle until they reached a private beach, where they bonded.

Jade was the second to get a date card, and she chose Tanner. The two shared a romantic dinner and talked about her Playboy shoot. They then made out and took a late night dip in the river.

Adding to the drama was that Ashley S. was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. While the first episode didn’t explain it, Gossip Cop hears she was dehydrated from the Mexican heat.

Just as the first episode ended, Clare Crawley (from Juan Pablo’s season) was a surprise visitor, who joined as a new contestant.

Drake isn’t letting Meek Mill‘s harsh words pass by him.

The crooner dissed Mill again through a new freestyle, “Back to Back,” that was posted last Wednesday. It follows his previous diss last weekend, “Charged Up,” which is Drake’s answer to the rapper’s criticism that he only hired a ghostwriter to compose his verse for “R.I.C.O.,” their collab off Meek’s album “Dreams Worth More Than Money.”

Back to the freestyle, he’s saying that Meek Mill has “trigger fingers turned to Twitter finger,” owing to the origin of the accusation. Drake even bravely calls him out, “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?” as he’s the opening act for GF Nicki Minaj‘s The Pinkprint Tour.

Mill, however, just brushes all these off as “Baby lotion soft.” Woah!

What is this, a teaser for ants?

We’ve been getting some behind the scenes sneak peeks of Zoolander 2 while the sequel has been in production, but we finally got an official look at the movie on Sunday.

It’s been 14 years since we saw Ben Stiller play Derek Zoolander on the big screen, but now he’s back and dumber than ever.

While the teaser’s narrator is busy trying to promote the movie, Derek keeps getting sidetracked by misunderstanding the suggested titles 2oolander and Zoolander II.

We’ve still got about a year until Ben, Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor, Penélope Cruz, and Kristen Wiig star in the comedy, but the short-but-sweet trailer is a pretty nice start!

Nia Guzman, the mother of Chris Brown‘s daughter Royalty, has asked a judge for supervised visitation to ensure that somebody is always around whenever Brown wants to visit with his little girl!

According to reports, Guzman doesn’t feel as though Brown is responsible enough to care for a kid. And, she’s also concerned that all of Brown’s friends have substance abuse issues, which of course just can’t be happening around a child.

A judge hasn’t yet ruled in the case, though Nia just filed the docs, so it might take some time. Chris allegedly thinks all this is just a ploy to get more child support, and he’s filed his own documents to establish paternity so that he can get joint custody.

Cara Delevingne explains herself from a “bad day” in Sacramento.

She’s a super-gorgeous model who just turned into a bonafide actress with Paper Towns. Nothing could go wrong, right?

Well, her really, really awkward interview with Good Day Sacramento just went viral. Delevingne went sarcastic as she said “No, I didn’t read the book or the script,” much to the dislike of the hosts.

“You make $ 5m for six weeks’ worth of work, you can pretend to talk to Good Day Sacramento with some oomph,” Mark S. Allen rants.

As the clip spread like wildfire, Cara was quick to justify: “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” which was widely retweeted.

Mel B believes it’s “time” for a Spice Girls reunion. Watch below!

The singer was on Friday’s “Tonight Show” to promote “America’s Got Talent,” and kicked off her appearance by giving Jimmy Fallon a kiss on his forehead, continuing her tradition of leaving a lipstick mark on his face. “I’m gonna blush until you can’t see the lipstick,” an amusingly embarrassed Fallon announced.

The host wanted to know all about the star’s family, and Mel B hilariously recounted her expletive-laden reactions to her 16-year-old’s driving. Fallon segued into asking the Brit about a possible Spice Girls reunion, and she revealed her daughter is actually pushing for one. “She’s been like the champion of this,” Mel B admitted. “Like ‘Mum, you girls have to do Coachella.’”

Why Coachella? Mel B isn’t exactly sure, but she suspects her daughter just wants an excuse to get into the famous music festival. Regardless, though, Mel B confessed, “But I want us to get back together! I think we should. It’s been 20 years. It’s about time.” Indeed, the Spice Girls formed in 1994, and had their breakthrough with “Wannabe” in 1996.

After a years-long hiatus, they last all performed together at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony in London. Since then, there’s been various false claims of a reunion tour, which Gossip Cop has corrected, though Mel B said in 2013 that she’s wanted to embark on such a project. Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, has sworn that her days with the group are over.

That said, Beckham remains close to Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell, and the four have had a couple mini-reunions for special occasions this year, as Gossip Cop has noted. Check out the video below, and tell us if you’d like the Spice Girls to formally get back together!
