Being an actor or a celebrity requires a lot more of an individual than the general public would think. In addition to performing their job, whether that’s acting, being a very high profile business owner, or being someone who is only famous by association, the work of being a celebrity alone is a full time job.

In this context, it doesn’t matter how a person achieved fame, it really only matters that they did, and now they’ve got a lot of responsibility and pressure from the outside world to look, behave and represent themselves a certain way.

What might be surprising to you, is that a lot of celebrities who have achieved fame, success or celebrity status, did so because they have an extensive knowledge of the business world and they treated themselves, or their careers, as a business or a product needing to be sold. Let’s talk specifics.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

According to a biography on Arnold Schwarzenegger by Steve Theunissen, Schwarzenegger left his home of Austria when he was only 18. He spent 2 years saving his money from work and was able to put aside $ 28,000. He borrowed an additional $ 10,000 from a friend and was able to embark on his first business venture, real estate.

The friend who loaned him the money told him to invest in land so that he would own something, instead of moving somewhere and spending all his money with nothing to show for it. The advice was sound, and from then on, Schwarzenegger was able to invest in much more.

Even before real estate, Schwarzenegger owned a small mail order business. In 1969 he bought a business license for $ 3.75 and sold small booklets about body building. By the year 1975, Schwarzenegger became a business partner with a body building friend and together, they co-staged Mr. Olympia many times.

By this time, Schwarzenegger was in high demand, and able to receive large bulks of money for appearing in the competitions. After this, Schwarzenegger went on to become the iconic actor/body builder/white collar extraordinair we know him for today. He even became the Governor of California in 2003. That’s an impressive resume.

Other Examples

Celebrities with business experience or education are not limited to Schwarzenegger. Think people like Steve Jobs, Donald Trump, Kevin Costner, Mick Jagger, Cate Blanchett, Lionel Richie, Sarah Palin, George Bush. The list is never ending. It certainly goes to prove that having white collar business knowledge and experience is key in finding success.

It looks like all the world needs to be looking to these individuals as the model for creating and replicating success. If anything, they can teach us to never give up. Anything worth having in the world requires a lot of hard work and a smart business minded strategy.

Original Gremlins star Zach Galligan says there will be a Gremlins 3! Gizmo lovers rejoice!

Galligan AKA Billy Peltzer told an audience during a special Q&A at London’s Prince Charles Cinema on Wednesday that he thinks the franchise won’t start from scratch, but rather 25+ years after 1990’s Gremlins 2: The New Batch:

“It’s not going to be a reboot. It will not be a remake in any way, shape, or form. Chris Columbus [director] has come out and said that the first film is very near and dear to his heart and as long as he is alive it will never be remade. So the only thing they will be, and apparently are going to be doing, is something along the lines of like ‘Jurassic World,’ where it will be 30 years later.”

Jurassic World made over $ 1.6 billion worldwide — so we can see how Zach thinks the same formula might work!

The 51-year-old actor continued, explaining:

“I swear on my life, I don’t know if I’m in it or not, but I think there is probably a decent chance since I’m one of the few people left standing from the first movie.”

A man was detained after jumping the White House fence on Thanksgiving. See video below.

On Thursday, an unidentified man draped with an American flag managed to climb over the fence that borders the White House in Washington, D.C. According to CNN, whose own photojournalists witnessed the incident, he first crossed through a street barricade before further breaching the residence’s security. Once on to the North Lawn, he was almost immediately apprehended by Secret Service agents, who had their guns drawn.

At the time, President Obama and his family were inside the White House celebrating the holiday. The situation sparked a lockdown, though two hours later, that security protocol was lifted. Thankfully, the First Family was never in any actual danger.

The man was said to be cloaked in the flag and carrying an envelope. It’s not clear if he was intending to deliver a message to the President. Ironically, though, the fence he climbed over had recently been reconstructed to prevent such intrusions.

There have been several fence-jumping incidents at the White House this year, and Obama even joked about it in his White House Correspondents’ Dinner speech back in April. as Gossip Cop reported at the time. The President has not yet publicly commented on this latest issue. CNN’s newscast can be watched below.

Kim Kardashian is NOT planning to get “massive plastic surgery” after her second child is born, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, which we’re told is untrue.

According to RadarOnline, Kardashian wants a “full body overhaul.” The star, of course, is currently pregnant with a baby boy. But a so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Kim is going to do a massive plastic surgery makeover after she gives birth this baby [sic].”

“Kim has been discussing the surgeries she wants to get done and talking to doctors about them… (and) talking about which doctors she wants to put on the payroll,” continues the webloid’s supposed source. “She wants to get her boobs done, a tummy tuck and liposuction.”

The site’s tipster goes on to note, “She’s not planning on getting the work done the same day she gives birth because her pregnancy has been dicey as it is.” That’s pretty interesting, considering one day before this story was published, RadarOnline actually accused Kardashian of “making up” her pregnancy health issues. The outlet apparently expects people to fall for its conflicting reports, even though any rational reader can tell its “sources” are either mistaken or non-existent.

In fact, RadarOnline was the same webloid that ridiculously alleged back in June that Kardashian, supposedly concerned about her weight gain, actually wanted to have surgery to “shave down her hips” while still pregnant. Of course, no such operation ever took place, and the site doesn’t even mention it now. Like that tall tale, a rep for Kardashian exclusively tells Gossip Cop the “massive plastic surgery” story is “false.”

Chris Daughtry is revealing a little secret about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: “Everybody” lip syncs.

As Gossip Cop reported, Daughtry was one of the big acts to participate in this year’s parade in New York City. Riding a float through the streets of Manhattan, the star sang “Long Live Rock and Roll” in front of millions of spectators and millions more watching on television. Then he was called out for lip syncing.

“Chris Daughtry just lip synced for the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade… Some people have no chill,” a Twitter user wrote after the performance. Though the person didn’t use Daughtry’s username in the tweet, the performer still caught wind of the message. And replied.

He wrote back, “And so did EVERYBODY ELSE!” Indeed, due to the conditions outside, there usually is a backing track used for the various performances. Sometimes it’s more noticeable than others. As Gossip Cop reported in 2013, it was very obvious that Kristin Chenoweth wasn’t singing live when she forgot to begin singing when her song started.

Still, it’s a big honor to join the annual tradition. And Daughtry wasn’t the only “American Idol” alum taking part this year. It’s Thanksgiving, and celebrities are taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their holiday thoughts, wishes, and personal anecdotes. For the most part, stars are expressing gratitude, while a few are also making jokes about Turkey Day.

Along with a photo of Liam Payne cooking, One Direction tweeted, “Happy Thanksgiving to all our US fans!” Bella Thorne wrote, ‏”Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for your continued love and support. I love you guys.” Meanwhile, Demi Lovato used the opportunity to note, “For anyone in recovery who gets anxiety about Thanksgiving, just remember.. It’s about giving thanks not just the food #staystrong.”

Blake Shelton tweeted, “Happy thanksgiving everybody!!!! And to any haters out there, have yourselves a nice warm slice of I don’t give a [expletive].” “To all celebrating Thanksgiving, have an awesome day,” added Hugh Jackman. Abigail Breslin simply offered, “Happy thanksgiving!” And Lance Armstrong wished, “Happy Thanksgiving to you all.”

Sarah Silverman joked, “We celebrate the pilgrims breaking bread w the natives of this land, who graciously shared all they had. What ever happened 2 them?” Bob Saget tweeted, “I want to give thanks to all the family and friends I have in my life- but mainly to the person who invented stuffing. #HappyThanksgiving.” And Robin Roberts expressed, “Everybody’s got something…and today (and every day) that something is to cherish & celebrate our many blessings. #HappyThanksgiving.”

Melissa Joan Hart shared in a message on Twitter and Instagram, “Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends around the world! I pray for a day of world peace, for a little cheer in everyone’s day and full bellies for everyone. I pray for those who can’t be with their families today, that you may find someone to spend your time with today. To those that are hungry and cold that you may find comfort today! I am most thankful for my enormous healthy family full of loving individuals that are all over the world on this day but always close to my Hart.”

Whether it’s the girls, the money, or the drugs, Steve Han has seen it all.

The 34-year-old was Charlie Sheen‘s assistant for two-and-a-half years, and was responsible for booking his travel and running his errands.

However, Han was more than just a PA; he became the Anger Management star’s close confidant who knew the 50-year-old’s deepest, darkest secrets.

Including his HIV diagnosis.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Steve — who had Sheen’s blessing to participate — remembers the moment when he knew something was wrong with the thespian’s health.

In 2011, the sitcom star was incredibly inebriated with several porn stars and friends in his “party den” to the point where Sheen accidentally cut his leg with a knife.

While the partygoers didn’t think much of the blood, Sheen was extremely alarmed.

He even said outloud :

“Don’t touch my blood, don’t touch my blood, I got this.”

According to his assistant:

“It was such a strange reaction, he seemed genuinely concerned that someone might actually touch his blood… ‘We were partying in the party den, a room just off his bedroom, and we all blew his reaction off because we were in the midst of a wild night, but I knew deep down something was wrong, I could see it in his eyes… At the time I thought maybe he’s got Hep C or something, but I never imagined it was much worse… I knew he was dealing with something major but couldn’t put my finger on it.”

A year later, the NYC-native finally told Steve he was HIV positive.

“I remember I had got into some drama with one of Charlie’s body guards, he had been giving me a hard time and it upset me. That night Charlie took me to one side to ask what was wrong. We were sitting at his kitchen table and I unburdened myself and got a bit emotional, I told him all my problems. We were just being very honest with each other, I was explaining my feelings towards what was wrong with the body guard and he just started to talk about his problems and said life isn’t perfect. Then he just came out with it, ‘I’m HIV positive.”‘

When asked how he specifically contracted the virus, the controversial figure simply said:

“I f***ed up.”

Since this moment, Han was in charge of making sure Charlie took three anti-viral pills every day.

“If the pills had gone then I knew he had taken them, I knew it was important that he didn’t miss any days. Sometimes I would physically hand the meds to him, putting them in his mouth. He always expressed his displeasure.”

Not surprisingly, the PA became extremely close with the actor, and knew several intimate details about his sex life.

He recalls:

“I would spend more than $ 200 on dozens of tubes of Aquaphor healing ointment, which is normally used to treat dry skin… Charlie loved the stuff, he used it as sex lube, the girls would be covered from head to toe in it. I would have to drive some of them home and they’d moan that they’d be all sticky.”

He even confirms Charlie’s love of porn stars.

“Yes there were porn stars, sometimes four at a time, but it wasn’t as if Charlie was having sex in front of his staff, he kept that private.”

All in all, Steve was touched by his former boss’ generosity.

“‘I’d call and get him to wire $ 20,000 to a girl. And sometimes they didn’t even have sex, they just hung out with Charlie. He was very generous with everyone, including his staff.”
