George Michael’s Partner Deletes His Twitter After Shocking Messages Pop Up Saying Singer Tried To Kill Himself ‘Many Times’

Fadi Fawaz says he is not responsible for the shocking messages posted to his Twitter account early Sunday morning claiming George Michael wanted to die.

A series of emotional tweets stated outright that George had tried to kill himself “many times” — seemingly implying he might have done so on Christmas day.

Fadi has since said the tweets were absolutely NOT written by him and that his account was hacked and then shut down. But not before thousands saw the messages.

See screenshots of the now-deleted tweets (below):

Fadi told the Mirror Online he didn’t know anything about the messages until he saw them on the news, saying:

“I am shocked with what’s going on with the Twitter thing. My Twitter account has been hacked and closed.

It’s a bit scary to be honest. I did not send those tweets. I woke up at 11:30 a.m. to the news. I am not going to worry about these things.”

George’s death has been ruled as “inconclusive” for the moment, though investigators also said it was not suspicious.

As always, we’ll keep you up to date with any new information.

Celebrity Feuds December 2016

Celebrity Feuds

(Getty Images)

The year 2016 ended with a handful of celebrity feuds. There were several wars of words, and even a wardrobe war. See which stars had fights with other famous people in December.

1. Dane Cook vs Nick Cannon: Cook blasted Cannon on Instagram for wearing a pink turban to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Along with a photo of Cannon, Cook wrote, “Last night Nick Cannon wore this sh*t.” He added, “He put this on his head and he looked in a mirror and he walked away from the mirror without saying to himself, ‘Hey self mayyyyyybe I shouldn’t look like Zoltan and wear a f***ing pink turban with one of the infinity stones from Avengers on it.’” Cook then ranted, “I’m gonna have to call Nick out here and say he Cannon’t wear this f***ing thing again.” The “America’s Got Talent” host, who’s worn turbans before, responded to Cook, “Call me so I can explain this Muthaf***in King Business to you!!”

2. Gucci Mane vs. radio host Angela Yee: Mane fought with Yee during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” when he claimed she tried to have sex with him. In the middle of promoting his new album, The Return of East Atlanta Santa, Mane said they had a “history.” And when her colleagues asked whether they “smashed,” Mane said, “She did try,” to which Yee replied, “That’s a lie… I was not on your d*ck. Stop it!” But Mane told her listeners that she once texted him, asking what hotel he was in. “You must got me confused with somebody else,” Yee angrily shot back, adding, “On my unborn child, I have never hit [up] Gucci.”

3. Rob Kardashian vs. Blac Chyna: Shortly before Christmas, Kardashian slammed Chyna for taking their baby Dream and leaving him. He posted a teary video on Instagram of his empty house, which he claimed was cleaned out by Chyna. Referencing private text messages that were seemingly hacked and posted on her Instagram account, which gave the impression she cheated on and used him, Kardashian wrote on social media, “I was in love with this woman to the fullest and I was none of that to her.” He added, “I can’t believe she did this to me.” What emerged later was Chyna hit Kardashian in a drunken fight before splitting with their daughter. He later posted an apology to Chyna for his “flaws/issues,” and the two appeared to have reconciled. Chyna was by his side when Kardashian was recently hospitalized with a diabetes-related emergency, and the two even spent New Year’s Eve together.

4. Camila Cabello vs. Fifth Harmony: Following Fifth Harmony’s Jingle Ball performance in Miami, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui issued a statement that said, “We have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.” Cabello later shot back, “I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing.” She further groused the contention that “they were just informed through my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true.” “I did not intend to end things with Fifth Harmony this way,” she added. But the remaining members responded one more time, claiming that for months they wanted to meet with her about doing another album and she “refused.” The four other women said they even wanted to discuss it at “group counseling which [Cabello] didn’t show up to,” leaving them ultimately “saddened” and “truly hurt.”

5. Avril Lavigne vs. Mark Zuckerberg: Lavigne slammed the Facebook founder after he dissed Chad Kroeger’s band, Nickelback. In a video promoting Jarvis, a new artificial intelligence system that’s voiced by Morgan Freeman, Zuckerberg asked the device to “play us some good Nickelback songs.” Freeman’s voice responded, “I’m sorry Mark, I’m afraid I can’t do that. There are no good Nickelback songs,” to which a pleased Zuckerberg said, “Good. That was actually a test.” But Lavigne was unamused by the joke, and tweeted a note that read, “Dear Mark, Many people use your products — some people love them and some people don’t. Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion however, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste.” She also suggested Zuckerberg be “more responsible with promoting bullying.”

Stay tuned for Gossip Cop’s January 2017 installment of celebrity feuds!

7 Biggest Celebrity Scandals Of 2016

Celebrity Scandals 2016

Robberies, hospitalizations, leaked tapes and alleged abuse are just a few of the controversies celebrities found themselves in last year. Gossip Cop has compiled the seven biggest scandals of 2016. Check out the list below.

1) Donald Trump and Billy Bush’s Leaked Tape: The Washington Post released a video in October featuring Trump and Bush having a lewd conversation about women while filming a 2005 “Access Hollywood” segment. The two men, who were wearing microphones, could be heard having a candid discussion while their bus pulled up to a sound stage for a TV shoot. Trump began by telling the news anchor about a botched attempt to seduce a married woman, saying, “I did try and f*ck her… I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there.” The president-elect went on to explain he “just starts kissing” women he finds attractive, because “when you’re a star, they let you do it.” And most infamously, Trump asserted he could “grab them by the p*ssy.” Trump later apologized for the remarks and dismissed his words as mere “locker room talk.”

2) Kim Kardashians Paris Robbery: The reality star was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel back in October when a group of masked men dressed as police officers forced their way into her room. The robbers tied Kardashian up in the bathroom with tape over her mouth, then made off with her cellphone and millions of dollars worth of jewelry. Fortunately, Kardashian wasn’t physically harmed during the heist, but the traumatic experience has kept her off social media and out of the limelight for the past couple of months.

3) Amber Heard Accuses Johnny Depp Of Domestic Abuse: The actress filed for divorce from Depp in May after accusing him of assault. She subsequently claimed the actor had physically and verbally abused her throughout their 15-month marriage, and got a restraining order against him. In August, a video emerged of Depp yelling and cursing in the kitchen of their home while pouring himself a large glass of wine. He soon discovered that Heard was secretly filming him and aggressively went after the camera. After months of contentious negotiations, the ex-couple’s divorce was settled in August with Depp paying Heard $ 7 million, part of which she donated to a domestic abuse charity.

4) Kanye West’s Hospitalization: In November, the rapper was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation and remained at the UCLA Medical Center for more than a week. It was said that West was being treated for exhaustion, but he also reportedly suffered a mental breakdown as the rapper’s doctor had told authorities he had gone into a state of “temporary psychosis.” Concerns about West’s mental state arose earlier that week when he went on bizarre rants about Jay Z, Beyonce, and Donald Trump during one of his concerts before cutting the show off. Hours before being hospitalized, West had announced that the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour was cancelled.

5) Ryan Lochte’s Rio “Robbery”: During the Rio Olympics in August, Lochte alleged that he and a few other teammates were robbed at gunpoint at a gas station. But there were many inconsistencies in the swimmer’s story, and it was later revealed that he and his friends had actually vandalized the bathroom of the gas station, and were confronted by security guards for doing so. Lochte later admitted in an interview with Matt Lauer that he lied about the incident, known as #LochteGate, because he was “drunk” and “immature.” The Olympian, however, caught flack for never emphatically apologizing for his actions, but instead just confessing that he “over-exaggerated” the situation.

6) Nate Parker Rape Accusation: The Birth of a Nation director and star made headlines in August when it was discovered that he had been accused of raping a fellow classmate while he was a student at Penn State University in 1999. Parker and the film’s co-writer, Jean Celestin, were accused of raping a white female classmate in their dorm room in the late ’90s. The men claimed the sex was consensual, but the accuser said she was drunk and unable to consent. Parker was acquitted of the charges, but the accuser went on to commit suicide in 2012. The filmmaker later addressed the rape controversy in various interviews, and said on “Good Morning America,” “I was falsely accused. I was proven innocent, and I’m not going to apologize for that.”

7) #OscarsSoWhite: Many celebrities and everyday people boycotted the 2016 Academy Awards when not a single black actor was nominated in any of the four acting categories for the second year in a row. Social media erupted with users bashing the awards show, resulting in the trending hashtag #OscarsSoWhite. Chris Rock went on to spend his entire Oscars monologue addressing the controversy and lack of diversity among nominees.

Mariah Carey “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2017″ Video: Watch Performance!

Mariah Carey New Years Eve

(NBC)

Mariah Carey performed on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2017” on Saturday. But there were all sorts of problems. Watch the video below!

The singer helped ring in the new year by performing for more than one million people camped out in Times Square, and millions more watching at home prior to the annual ball dropping. She seemed to have issues, however, lip syncing and said, “I’m gonna let the audience sing.” Carey also told the audience she was “trying to be a good sport” about all the technical problems.

In 2005, Carey was the first artist to perform live from Times Square on the ABC special, which is now in its 45th year. In a statement released earlier this month, the superstar said, “I am so excited to return to ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest’ and feel blessed to be a part of this year’s magical celebration. I can’t wait to perform once again for my incredible fans as we ring in the New Year together live from Times Square.”

Host Seacrest also chimed in, saying, “Mariah was the first live performance from Times Square in 2005 when I joined Dick Clark as co-host. After nearly a decade, I’m excited to join her again in Times Square, along with all our incredible performances, to ring in 2017.” In addition to Carey, others slated to perform live included DNCE, Gloria Estefan, and Thomas Rhett.

Gossip Cop has video below of Carey’s problem-filled performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2017.”

Fifth Harmony ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ Video 2017: Watch Performance!

Fifth Harmony New Years Eve

(ABC)

Fifth Harmony performed on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve 2017” in a pre-taped segment that aired on Saturday. Watch the video below!

Camila Cabello, who left the group earlier this month, was included on the New Year’s show since the performances were shot back in November during the taping of the annual “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” Billboard Hollywood Party. Fifth Harmony, which also includes Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui, performed “That’s My Girl,” “Work From Home” and “Worth It” during the concert, for which they were joined by Ty Dolla $ ign and Kid Ink. The broadcast of their New Year’s performances now marks the last time fans will see all five members singing on stage together.

As Gossip Cop reported, the remaining members of 5H announced in a statement two weeks ago that Cabello had quit the act, saying, “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.” Hours after the news was made public, Cabello broke her silence to say she wasn’t aware such an announcement was going to be made. “I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing,” Cabello said in her own statement. She went on to explain her decision to part ways with the group, but Fifth Harmony disputed many of her claims.

While the bad blood still lingers, at least Harmonizers can see the group ending 2016 as five-piece. Gossip Cop has video of Fifth Harmony’s performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve 2017” below. Check it out!
