Of all the things Donald Trump is doing, this is the scariest.

He is consistently widening his definition of “fake news,” seemingly in response to outlets accurately reporting his poor decisions, conflicts of interest, inconsistent positions, and flat-out false statements.

Previously, he had only specifically named CNN, The New York Times, and Buzzfeed (whom he will never forgive for the time they told him “You Are A Hufflepuff”) as fake news.

But now he is officially expanding his list of enemies to include basically every major non-conservative news source. He tweeted on Friday:

The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

Wow.

Interestingly, Trump tweeted then deleted just 16 minutes earlier:

Presumably he saw ABC and CBS news sources point out something awful he did in that time. He literally can’t go 15 minutes without making more enemies.

Here’s why this is so scary.

Trump is setting himself up as the only word you can trust. And for those who buy into it, all the fact checking in the world won’t mean a damn thing. That means the POTUS can make any claim he wants without fear of reprisal.

It’s always hard saying goodbye…

On Friday, Warren Frost — known for his role as Dr. Will Hayward in Twin Peaks — passed away from a lengthy illness in Middlebury, Virginia. He was 91.

According to his son Mark Frost who is the co-creator of the David Lynch classic:

“We’re saddened today to announce the passing of our dear old dad, Warren Frost… From the Normandy shores on D-Day to his 50-year career on stage and screen, he remained the same humble guy from Vermont who taught us that a life devoted to telling the right kind of truths can make a real difference in the lives of others. We’re grateful to have shared him with the world for as long as we did.”

The thespian also appeared on The Larry Sanders Show, Murphy Brown, Life Goes On, and L.A. Law. He reprised his role as Dr. Hayward in the Twin Peaks Showtime reboot.

He and his wife of 68 years Virginia had three children — Mark, Scott Frost, and Lindsay Frost — in addition to three grandchildren.

The Senate confirmed Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt as the head of the Environmental Protection Agency on Friday, and many celebrities are now reacting to the controversial choice. See stars’ reactions below.

Many Democrats have denounced Pruitt for his ties to oil, gas and coal companies, as well as his past comments questioning the science behind climate change. Additionally, Pruitt’s confirmation as head of the EPA comes just one day after an Oklahoma judge ordered the release of his email conversations with fossil fuel companies.

Among the stars outraged by the decision is Rosie O’Donnell, who tweeted, “god help us.” Rosie Perez said, “Blatant disrespect for planet earth. Shame on you all @senategop that voted yes for this man.” George Takei joked, “The Senate just confirmed Scott Pruitt to head the EPA. In related news, they also confirmed Lucius Malfoy as the new Hogwarts Headmaster.” And George Wallace similarly quipped, “Scott Pruitt runnin’ the damn EPA. In related news, Mike Vick is takin’ over PETA.”

Meanwhile, Billy Eichner tweeted, “A disaster,” while Sophia Bush stated, “Despicable.” And after a follower pointed out that Pruitt was confirmed prior to his emails being released, Judd Apatow exclaimed, “THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF CORRUPTION.” Mark Ruffalo also offered, “It would be grossly irresponsible for the Senate vote on Pruitt before review of 1000s of emails.” Gossip Cop will update as more celebrities react to Pruitt being confirmed as the head of the EPA.

Harry Styles’ sister is calling out a fake Twitter account for impersonating the One Direction singer.

On Thursday, Gemma Styles tweeted, “For people asking @PrvtHarryStyles is NOT a real account. Do not send pictures or anything else. Stay sharp, stay suspicious, stay safe. Sad that I even have to tweet this but for my own conscience I don’t see an alternative. Young girls don’t need this.”

“For the record, none of us have ‘private’ accounts, what would the point even be?” Gemma, whose own account is verified like her brother’s real one, went on to say. She further confirmed Harry does not have “private” Facebook or Snapchat accounts, either. Gemma also denied that Style is on the app Kik, and confirmed that a fan was actually duped during a Skype session.

She added, “Sadly some people will just believe what they want to believe, but what else can I do.” Hopefully fans will take her messages to heart. Fortunately, Twitter has already suspended the “@PrvtHarryStyles” account that sparked her tweets.

For his part, Styles hasn’t commented on the situation at all. The British star has only used Twitter sparingly since One Direction went on hiatus. He last tweeted in January, skipping over his own birthday earlier this month.

If you want access to his home, be prepared to encounter a heavily monitored gated property with armed guards. If you want to work in the Cruise household, be prepared to undergo intense background testing in order to be hired there. Even then, only certain employees can go into designated zones throughout the Cruise estate.

Bill Gates

The billionaire and Microsoft founder has a mansion that is incredible. His home has technology built into every room, a 23 car garage, 24 bathrooms, a reception hall, swimming pool, and a trampoline room. With a mansion as amazing as his, of course, you want to take crazy security measures to protect it. It is reported that Bill Gates has the most advanced security systems that money can buy to protect his home and he also takes personal security to new measures by traveling in public with bodyguards always being by his side.

There is no need asking these celebs if a home security system is worth it. All 3 have fame and fortune and want to protect themselves by taking these incredible security measures to keep their home and family safer.

We all have our limits!

As we reported, on Thursday, Donald Trump held a chaotic press conference where he berated reporters for asking legitimate questions about his team’s contact with Russian officials. Not surprisingly, he reiterated his opposition toward mainstream media claiming, “the news is fake because so much of the news is fake.”

After the debacle was over, Fox News‘ Shepard Smith gave his take on Drumpf, and boy, he did NOT mince his words!

First off, the news anchor repeated his criticism of the businessman for his terrible treatment of the press, case in point CNN‘s Jim Acosta who was told by Trump in January that his network is (once again) “fake news.”

But then, Smith really gives it to him over his refusal to answer questions about his relationship with Russia. The 53-year-old said on-air:

“It is crazy what we’re watching every day. It’s absolutely crazy. He keeps repeating ridiculous, throw away lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question. Really? Your opposition was hacked and the Russians were responsible for it, and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening, and we’re fools for asking these questions? No, sir.”

Smith believes Trump has an obligation to the American people to be forthright with his international dealings, saying:

“We are not fools for asking the questions, and we demand to know the answer. You owe this to the American people. Your supporters will support you either way. If your people were on the phone, what were they saying? We have a right to know. We absolutely do, and that you call us fake news and put us down like children for asking these questions on behalf of the American people is inconsequential. People deserve that answer, at very least.”

“The View” co-hosts on Thursday slammed Donald Trump for side-stepping a question about anti-semitism. Watch below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Trump had a press conference with Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, during which the president was asked about anti-semitism in his administration and a rise in anti-semitic incidents. But instead of giving a direct answer and condemning anti-semitism, Trump touted his electoral college victory and pointed out that his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared are Jewish. Many stars criticized that response, and now the talk show’s panelists did, too.

“So just because his family is Jewish, that means anti-semitism will disappear?” Joy Behar asked incredulously. Sunny Hostin exclaimed, “He’s like certifiable! It was such a crazy, crazy — right? It was like this crazy response. He didn’t answer the question about anti-semitism. It was a very easy question to answer. I mean, you can answer that in 140 characters on Twitter.”

Indeed, Jedediah Bila said Trump should’ve responded, “I have zero tolerance for anti-semitism. My administration will follow protocol to make sure that doesn’t happen.” She went on to say of the president’s non-answer, “This is how he won… When you’re in a campaign you pivot. Somebody asks you a question you don’t know the answer to, you pivot. That’s not what a president does, though. A president has to answer the question.”

Whoopi Goldberg argued that Trump avoided addressing the question specifically because “he would’ve had to admit his rhetoric has increased anti-semitism in the country.” Sara Haines agreed, saying, “I don’t think he actually is anti-semitic. The problem here is his rhetoric, which we have not heard him speak about. He will not come out ever [and denounce it].”

“All he has to say is, ‘I truly am here for all of you.’ One statement,” she insisted. That led Behar to note, “All you need for evil to flourish is for good men to be silent. And that’s what he is: Maybe a good guy not speaking.” Gossip Cop will have video shortly. Stay tuned.

Apple Music‘s new show Planet Of The Apps, that’s what!

Earlier this week, Apple dropped the trailer for their new reality show slated to debut this Spring. The concept? Well, app developers are given 60 seconds on a escalator to pitch to the show’s judges (coaches?) — including Jessica Alba of The Honest Company, Gwyneth Paltrow of Goop, will.i.am of i.am+, and Gary Vaynerchuk of VaynerMedia. Now, like on The Voice, if two coaches select a developer the techie is then allowed to pick which influencer they’d like to work with.

Eventually, the selected coach and app developer meet in front of a venture capital firm, named Lightspeed Venture, and try to score an investment deal. LOVES it!

Sex scenes get even the most professional actors flustered!

Laverne Cox admitted as much during an interview with People, where she explained that love scenes are never easy.

Of her scenes in new CBS series Doubt, the actress said:

“I was super nervous. I think it’s always weird when you’re, like, having to make out and make ‘love’ or get intimate with someone that you’re not intimate with. You want to make sure everyone’s comfortable.”

The 32-year-old was also worried how costar and love interest Ben Lawson would react to kissing a transgender woman, saying:

“I haven’t even talked about this — maybe he has kissed a trans woman in real life before, but I was assuming he had never. I was like: ‘Oh my God, is he freaking out?’ But he’s such a professional. He always made me feel completely comfortable and I hope I made him feel comfortable and respected, as well. But it’s a scary thing!”

Laverne revealed that the script called for a lot of very hot action, and she hopes she and Ben lived up to it:

“In the script it says, before our first steamy moment, that it’s ‘the hottest hotness that has ever existed.’ … So you have to keep watching for the hottest hotness that has ever existed. I hope that we were able to live up to that!”

We’re sure they did!

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are NOT married, despite speculation. Gossip Cop can clear up the confusion and explain how the untrue claim originated.

On Tuesday, GQ published an online article on Pattinson’s style, pegged to the actor recently stepping out in a sweater that was likened to a crop top. It was a fashion story, from top to bottom, but casually mentioned in the piece was “his new wife FKA Twigs.” That led Gossip Cop to get a flood of emails from fans asking if Pattinson and Twigs had secretly tied the knot.

Now we can exclusively confirm they have NOT wed at this time. Some questioned if the wording in the GQ website’s story was intended to be a subtle marriage announcement, but that was not the case. The truth is far simpler: The writer made an innocent mistake when describing Twigs as Pattinson’s “new wife.” Again, it was just an honest error, and no cause for fan theories.

And, with some guidance from Gossip Cop, the article was changed and updated to reflect a far more accurate description. That portion now says “his lady FKA Twigs.” The incorrect “new wife” description was removed, although the couple does remain engaged.

If and when they do walk down the aisle, Gossip Cop will have the accurate news. See screengrabs from the original and amended GQ story below.
