More information is being released about the tragic death of Joi “SJ” Harris.

As we reported, on the set of Deadpool 2 in Vancouver, the stuntwoman lost control of her bike, jumped the curb, and crashed through the window of Shaw Tower. Her brakes were not applied, and she was not wearing a helmet.

The incident has been investigated by WorkSafeBC who describes the situation in a report dated August 15. They wrote:

“During the first shooting of the scene the stunt driver continued driving beyond the planned stopping spot on the stairway landing, and continued to drive down a second ramp built over the bottom stairs and across the roadway. The motorcycle struck the concrete sidewalk curb, the worker was thrown off the motorcycle and propelled through a plate glass window of a building.”

Despite being reported as “the first shooting of the scene,” a Deadline source says the crash happened on Harris’ sixth take. Additionally, the professional motorcycle racer was reportedly only traveling at less than 10 MPH. The insider reveals:

“In the maneuver, which was never more than 15 kilometers per hour – [a little less than] 10 miles an hour – she rode on a flat surface through two open doors and then turned left and went out of camera range… Her exit was a safety ramp to a big platform where the bike was supposed to stop, but she overshot the platform, hit a curb, and was thrown from the bike through a glass window.”

Although the Ryan Reynolds-sequel was her first job as a movie stuntwoman, the source says Joi was indeed qualified for the position.

“To say an unqualified person was put in this position is absolutely untrue… She was the best candidate for the job.”

Production resumed two days after her tragic death.

The movie is scheduled to be released June 1.

Leave the wife and kids out of it, Kanye West!

Recently, JAY-Z spoke to Rap Radar‘s Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller where he opens up about his feud with Kim Kardashian‘s husband.

As we reported, back in 2016, Yeezy went on a rant during a concert in Sacramento where he SLAMS Beyoncé for reportedly refusing to perform at the VMAs unless she won “Video of the Year” over him and Drake. He also said Jay doesn’t bring Blue Ivy Carter over to play with his kids.

In the interview, Shawn Carter talks about his track Kill Jay Z which seems to reference the drama. Although the 4:44 tune is “not even about Kanye,” he brings up Ye’s name to reveal the truth about the situation.

Out of everything, The Blueprint musician is PISSED West talked smack about his family. He said:

“But what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it. Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me 100 times. He made a song called Big Brother. We’ve gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. And he knows it’s a problem.

While Jay appreciates Kanye’s honesty, he really “crossed the line”!

“He knows that he crossed the line. I know him. He knows. I know he knows, because we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements, and we’ve had many, because that’s who we are. That’s what I like about him. He’s an honest person, he’s open and he’ll say things and he’s wrong a lot of times and he’ll confront it.”

As we wrote in July, North West‘s dad cut ties with Tidal because the streaming service allegedly failed “to honor its financial obligations.”

What an eventful week for Robin Thicke…

After having a public custody battle with his estranged wife Paula Patton since January of this year, the musician and the actress have finally settled their legal drama.

According to TMZ, the Blurred Lines singer will have son Julian Monday through Wednesday, while Patton gets the seven-year-old Wednesday through Friday. Not only will they alternate weekends, they will split various expenses (including private school tuition) and have even negotiated a vacation and holiday schedule.

As we reported, on Thursday, Thicke’s 22-year-old girlfriend April Love Geary announced on Instagram she is pregnant with the couple’s baby girl. Her due date is March 1, which is deceased father Alan Thicke‘s birthday.

The dust has finally settled.

Rihanna is the subject of yet another made-up HollywoodLife story. This latest article claims she is “protective” of her romance with Hassan Jameel and “fears another heartbreak after Drake.” It is part of an ongoing fictional narrative the fabrication factory is running about the singer.

“Rihanna and billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel have gone totally underground with their romance. We’ve got EXCLUSIVE details on how she’s trying to avoid any public heartbreak like she had with Drake,” contends the webloid, which quotes a so-called “member of Rihanna’s squad” as saying, “Keeping her relationship with Hasaan out of the spotlight is a priority for Rihanna right now. She hates the avalanche of attention that happens whenever she’s got a new man, it always causes drama. She wants what she’s got with Hasaan to last so she’s being very protective.”

Let’s be real: Would a legitimate “member of Rihanna’s squad” talk to HollywoodLies? Absolutely not. Would an authentic “member of Rihanna’s squad” tell a random blog, one that has lied so many times, about her romance with Jameel? No way. But the site is desperate to trick readers, especially since paparazzi seemed to photograph the pair in London this week. That was clearly the inspiration for this tale, in which the supposed source claims, “Most of the time they don’t even leave the house together… But they can’t stay hidden all the time, She’s super social and wants to be out and about with him showing him off.”

As for Drake, he’s only mentioned in the piece so HollywoodLies can attract his fans to click on this post, too. That’s why the outlet has spent the summer making up stories not just about Rihanna and Jameel, but also ones tying in Drake and even Chris Brown. The online publication wants readers to believe it has insight on not just the couple’s relationship, but also on how her exes feel about it. All the while, the webloid hasn’t been the least bit consistent. For instance, earlier this month, HollywoodLies maintained that Rihanna and Jameel’s relationship wasn’t serious. Now roughly 10 days later, it’s apparently serious enough that she supposedly wants to “protect” it and fears the romance will end in heartbreak.

Much like the wind, the site is constantly changing directions. If it really had sources and contacts within Rihanna’s “squad,” it would be able to report accurately and without blatant contradictions. But Gossip Cop is told her camp isn’t spilling to HollywoodLies about her relationship, much like those close to Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and a slew of other stars don’t actually dish “EXCLUSIVE details” to the blog, either. Like many stars, Rihanna is indeed protective of her relationships. Made-up stories like these just violate that privacy.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are not having “trust” or “jealousy” issues, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this made-up claim about their relationship.We’re told there’s “nothing to it.”

The tall tales comes courtesy of Life & Style, a magazine that has an abysmal record when it comes to reporting on Gomez. The publication begins its latest off-base article by maintaining that The Weeknd (nee Abel Tesfaye) and Gomez have “rarely been spotted together in recent weeks.” It then quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “They’ve gone from being madly in love with each other to being at each other’s throats.” “They’re really on the rocks now,” adds the alleged “source.”

After noting The Weeknd goes back back on the road from September to December with his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour,” the tabloid’s supposed insider asserts, “The distance isn’t good for Selena and Abel.” The magazine’s tipster contends it’s because Gomez has “trusts issues and hates being apart from him.” While it’s true she doesn’t like being away from The Weeknd, because they’re in love, Gomez trusts her boyfriend.

Curiously, the publication neglects to mention that from September though November, The Weeknd’s tour will be in North America, during which we’re told she’ll be spending time with him. It’s only at the end of November through the first two weeks of December that he’ll be performing in New Zealand and Australia.

Regardless, the tabloid’s article is riddled with errors. Despite the claim that they’ve “rarely been spotted together in recent weeks,” Gomez and The Weeknd were seen smiling through a comedy show on Friday at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles. They’re hardly “on the rocks now,” as falsely asserted by the magazine, nor have they been “at each other’s throats.” A Gomez insider dismissed the outlet’s entire report, assuring Gossip Cop there’s “nothing to it.”

We’re not entirely surprised the report is wrong because, as we noted above, Life & Style has published a number of entirely fabricated articles about her. Of course there was that disgusting and untrue cover story that Gossip Cop debunked which claimed Gomez had a miscarriage after being pregnant with Justin Bieber’s baby. And in February, for example, the often disproven publication exclaimed on another cover that Gomez was pregnant with The Weeknd’s baby and quickly marrying him. Thankfully, this time around the magazine didn’t concoct a fictitious miscarriage to explain away its lies.

Naturally, the publication doesn’t mention in its latest story the nonexistent pregnancy (and baby) or the wedding that never took place. Instead, it just manufactured another angle about Gomez having “jealousy” and “trust” issues with The Weeknd. In reality, the only one not to be trusted is Life & Style.

It’s no secret that Japan is one of the most beautiful and most visited countries in the world. And once you’ve been here, it’s hard not to fall in love with the culture, the food, the people, and the places that would make you want to never leave. Everyone gets hit by the country love bug including some of your favorite celebrities who have openly expressed their admiration for Japan and have even gone great lengths to express it.

These celebs, just like you, are madly in love with the Land of the Rising Sun:

1. LADY GAGA

Making it on the top of the list is the “Mother Monster” herself, Lady Gaga, who is a well-known Japanophile and has always expressed her love for the country. Announcing on social media that Tokyo is her favorite place, it’s no wonder why she keeps on coming back and why she loves donning Japanese-inspired outfits and makeup. She even got her “TOKYO LOVE” tattoo in Japan during her trip in 2009 in honor of working with photographer Nobuyoshi Araki.

Proving that this is not a lip service, Gaga supported the advocacy of MTV Video Music Aid Japan Benefit Concert that raised money and awareness to help the earthquake and tsunami victims of the Tohoku region in 2011. She also designed “We Pray for Japan” charity bracelets to raise money for the disaster victims giving all proceeds to the Tsunami Relief Efforts in Japan. Aside from these, the “Born This Way” singer helped in boosting the country’s sagging tourism industry saying that “everyone should come visit this beautiful place”. Japan couldn’t have asked for a better ambassador than one of the world’s biggest entertainment stars.

2. ARIANA GRANDE

The 24-year old pop star and a professed Japanophile has always been vocal about her admiration for Japan. On her social media posts, she often tweets about her love for the country saying “I love Japan so much, it’s heaven. I’ve taken a million photos on my little Polaroid camera. I’m such a tourist. Love to everybody back home”. Ariana is a frequent visitor and enjoys shopping in Harajuku. In 2016, she and her boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez, traveled to Japan to spend the weekend together.

The singer’s love affair with the country has gone far that she’s even learning to write hiragana, often posting pictures of her practice writing in notebooks. She also posts Japanese tweets such as “I love Japan” and “I miss Japan!” and even talks Nihongo to her Japanese fans. No wonder that she has a huge following in Japan making her albums to consistently rank in the top 3 of the Japanese charts rivaling that of Taylor Swift’s.

3. TOMMY LEE JONES

The world may popularly know him as “Agent K” in “Men in Black”. But for the Japanese, he is the “Boss” – Suntory’s brand of canned coffee. Since 2006, Jones has appeared in a series of Boss coffee ads and commercials.

While foreign celebrity appearances in Japanese commercials is nothing new, Jones expressed his sincere admiration for Japan by being the only foreign celebrity to appear in an unpaid commercial along with a whole host of Japanese celebrities to raise Japan’s spirit after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

The “Man in Black” star has been often spotted in Japan enjoying his private time. A few years back, he was seen feeding the deer in Nara, Japan.

4. KATY PERRY

While once accused of racism following her opening performance in a geisha outfit at the 2013 American Music Awards, Katy Perry has always been obsessed with the Japanese culture and people. She revealed in an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that her obsession was developed as a result of her parents taking in Japanese exchange students when her sister was banished from the family home.

“I am obsessed with Japanese people, I love everything about them and they are so wonderful as human beings.”, Perry said as she recalled that she wanted to borrow the exchange student’s clothes but they were weirded out by it.

5. KEANU REEVES

Keanu Reeves is no stranger to Japan. Having been touted as one of the most well-loved Hollywood celebrities in the country, he has been spotted many times doing location scouting and being just a simple tourist. His movie, 47 Ronin, is a samurai movie that was filmed in Japan. During an interview, Keanu mentioned that he was trying to learn the bushido, the way (or the moral) of the warrior, what does it mean to live by the bushido code, and its sacrifice.

Not many fans know that some of their favorite celebrities own companies or are executives of major firms. Clearly, this is a sign that these famous people know how to properly manage their funds and are not into vices that can drain their earnings. They just don’t rely on what they’re earning as actors as they are bent on running their own business while providing employment at the same time.

Singer Beyonce Knowles who’s known to be a health buff partnered with her trainer Marco Borges to set up their 22 Days Nutrition business. The company provides vegan delivery service for 22 days for each customer.

The pop music diva is also into fashion. She co-founded the House of Dereon back in 2005 together with her mother. And as if that’s not enough, she also got involved in a sports and activewear label in 2014 together in partnership with British fashion retailer TopShop. Their label is called Parkwood TopShop Athletic.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sex in the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is living her role in the famous TV series as shoe loving Carrie Bradshaw. The actress has partnered with Nordstrom to launch her footwear line called SJP. Her shoes are specially handcrafted in Italy by third generation Tuscan shoemakers and they’re sturdy which means they can be worn for a long time. Parker has even gone to the extent of making personal appearances at Nordstrom stores in the U.S. Her SJP collection, by the way, also features well-designed bags.

Justin Timberlake

Apart from singing, Justin Timberlake is into several profitable ventures. His investments include the fashion line called William Rast, the Memphis Grizzlies and the tequila brand Sauza 901. According to the pop star, he believed in Sauza 901 “because I made it.”

Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher is not only great at acting but also in managing his businesses. Not many know that the actor is also a tech investor and producer. Back in 2011, he together with billionaire Ron Burkle and Guy Oseary (Madonna’s manager) created A-Grade Investments, a venture fund that invests in tech companies. Among the companies they have invested in, so far, are Airbnb, Spotify, Foursquare, Uber, Fab and Path.

Will Smith

Will Smith owns a product company Overbrook Entertainment which he founded together with James Lassiter in 1997. Based in Culver City, California, the company produces television shows, movies and music.

According to the actor, he created the company to be able to produce films and TV shows and to find roles. As a music artist, he also uses his role in the company to help aspiring artists to record music.

A story saying Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are “back on track after a rough year” is fake news from the same tabloid that falsely claimed they split months ago. Gossip Cop can expose this blatant flip-flop.

In March, Star ran a cover story wrongly announcing, “Eva & Ryan Split!” The article alleged the couple had a “blow-out fight” before the Oscars, and speculated Mendes may have “already spoken to a lawyer” about custody of their kids. Gossip Cop exclusively confirmed, however, that she and Gosling were 100 percent still together. Then in June, a follow-up article from the gossip magazine ridiculously claimed Mendes was jealous of Gosling’s female co-stars from Blade Runner 2049, further causing marital strain. Gossip Cop busted that, too.

And now that time has proven our reporting to be correct, the outlet is trying to backpedal and do damage control. But rather than admit its previous tales were erroneous, the publication is trying to cover up its past lies by offering more misinformation. “Ryan & Eva On The Mendes,” reads the punny headline of the tabloid’s latest story, in which it’s asserted “sources confirm the couple is back on track.” No. They were never off track in the first place.

“It’s no secret that they came very close to splitting,” claims one so-called “source.” No. They were never close to splitting. That is a lie Star put on its cover to sell magazine copies. And the tabloid is only running this “on the mend” article now because Gosling and Mendes recently stepped out for a date at Disneyland. Since that made it clear the couple had not split, the outlet had to come up with an explanation to cover its prior breakup claims.

The publication’s purported snitch asserts the pair simply “realized they needed to make time for each other if they are going to make this work.” No. Gosling and Mendes did not realize anything. That’s always been an important belief throughout their relationship. Rather, the tabloid realized it couldn’t continue its false narrative, and so it’s changing gears. It’s fake news on top of take news, and it’s pathetic.

Chris Brown is telling us more than we’ve ever heard before.

The Loyal singer is telling his side of what went down between himself and Rihanna back in 2009. Per a clip from the A-lister’s documentary Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life, both Brown and RiRi were abusive in their highly profiled relationship.

Apparently, things first went south for the couple when the hitmaker decided to tell the Work artist about a woman he slept with prior to their relationship, a tidbit he had previously lied about. On losing Rihanna‘s trust, Chris relayed:

“My trust totally was lost with her, she hated me after that. I tried everything, she didn’t care. She just didn’t trust me after that. From there, it just went downhill because there were too many verbal fights, physical fights as well. Mutual sides. It is the first time I get to say anything. We would fight each other. She would hit me, I would hit her and it never was OK.”

Supposedly, the twosome tried to stop their fighting as Brown continued:

“There was always a point where we’d talk about it like, ‘What the fuck are we doing?’ Like, ‘I don’t like you slapping me.’ If I go on stage I got a scratch on my face and I gotta explain it like, ‘Oh, no I fell.’ If you got a scar or a bruise you gotta put makeup on. I’m not ever trying to put my hands on any female…I felt like a fucking monster.”

Although, the 28-year-old was unable to keep that promise as the violence between the two escalated and resulted in Chris bashing Rihanna’s face in at a Grammys event. He says the whole thing began when the woman he had previously slept with was at the Clive Davis event and approached the couple:

“The ceremony’s about to start, she’s just crying…She got over it. She started drinking a little bit, we both was drinking a little bit. We was tipsy, laughing and then we left.”

However, while Brown says he didn’t know the woman would be there, he apparently later got a text (which Rihanna saw) that implied he might’ve known. The singer revealed:

“She starts going off, she throws the phone…’I hate you.’ She hits me a couple more times. I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, I punched her. I busted her lip. When I saw it, I was in shock. I was like, ‘Fuck’ why the hell did I hit her? From there she just spit in my face, spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more. She takes the keys out of the car and fakes it like she throws them out of the window. I get out the car and I’m looking for the keys and somebody yelled and she yells out her door, ‘Help, he’s trying to kill me.'”

Well, it certainly is interesting to hear so much about this infamous night from Brown himself. He reveals even more about their relationship, the abuse, and how he feels about how everything went down in the video.

We do hope this is a sign of Brown growing up and changing for the better. Although, we’ll need more than this to believe it considering all that has gone down with Karrueche Tran.
