On Saturday, Orange is the New Black‘s Samira Wiley married her fiancée Lauren Morelli in a sweet ceremony in Palm Springs, CA. And it sounds like it was the wedding of the season, as Martha Stewart Weddings revealed the twosome’s ceremony was confetti themed AND that they also walked up the aisle to Montell Jordan‘s This Is How We Do It.

YASSSSS. It seems only right that the duo got married in Palm Springs as that’s where they got engaged back in 2016. Both ladies rocked custom Christian Siriano numbers for their nuptials. Specifically, Miz Wiley donned an off-the-shoulder white dress which featured a full skirt, whereas the OITNB writer wore a dapper pantsuit that had a long, flowing cape.
LOVES it!
According to MSW, the newlyweds entered their reception to Justin Bieber‘s Baby. It’s said the reception was decorated with bright garlands and floral/citrus-themed center pieces. Talk about a dream wedding!
Apparently, Samira changed before she hit the dance floor with her new wife. That was probably a smart decision since their first dance featured an explosion of confetti. Full skirts + slippery confetti = a disaster waiting to happen!
We’re honestly so happy for Samira and Lauren, especially since their relationship has been under quite the microscope. In case you forgot, back in 2014, Miz Morelli revealed she was gay in an essay titled, While Writing for Orange Is the New Black, I Realized I Am Gay. In the piece, Lauren explained that she had divorced her husband of two years because of her revelation.
Not long after the essay dropped, Wiley and Morelli began dating. Everything happens for a reason, right??

Are Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia being forced to act like a real-life couple? That’s the latest tabloid rumor about their hit NBC show, “This Is Us.” Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and we can exclusively set the record straight.
The story in question can be found in the new issue of OK!, under the headline, “Mandy & Milo’s Fan Fauxmance.” According to the gossip magazine, Moore and Ventimiglia “aren’t involved in real life, but you’d never know it from their red-carpet chemistry. And that’s exactly the impression NBC wants fans to have.” The outlet specifically alleges the network has “pushed” the co-stars to “couple up whenever possible to hype the show.”
“Mandy is living with her boyfriend, and Milo’s in a relationship, too, but NBC wants them together at all the Emmy parties,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “The plan is to have everyone buzzing that they’re in love. Mandy doesn’t mind — she knows how the game works — but Milo hates that they’re trying to control him.”
The publication’s supposed source adds, “Still, he’s got no choice but to go along with it.” To put it simply, “fans love the idea of Mandy and Milo together, and NBC is capitalizing on that,” contends the tabloid. But Gossip Cop can reveal this isn’t an accurate representation of what’s actually going on, or what will be taking place at Emmy Awards parties next month and why.
First off, “This Is Us” does not need manufactured hype. The drama’s success is very real, with its storytelling and acting critically-acclaimed within the industry and beloved by fans. There is constant media attention surrounding the show, and a “fauxmance” is not needed to sell the program. Second, the “chemistry” Moore and Ventimiglia show on the red carpet is genuine, not faked. They have developed a close friendship, and that is what fans are seeing. Furthermore, it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
When cast members do press appearances together, particularly at events like Emmy parties, they typically pose closely with one another, especially if the actors’ characters are involved on-screen. Moore and Ventimiglia are likely to take pictures together next month, just as they have in the past and just as many on-screen couples, but off-screen platonic duos have done before them. It has nothing to do with the network urging them to “couple up.”
Additionally, this article implies that NBC knows about Moore and Ventimiglia’s significant others, but is being disrespectful by supposedly urging them to carry on a charade. Gossip Cop is told that isn’t how the network works. It also doesn’t make sense that NBC would be pressuring Moore to “have everyone buzzing that they’re in love” when she’s spoken openly about her relationship with Taylor Goldsmith. Fans know she’s taken, so why would they believe she’s in a romance with Ventimiglia simply because they’re on the red carpet together at work-related events?
Clearly, there’s a lot of holes in this OK! story. Still, Gossip Cop also reached out to sources close to the actors themselves, one of whom laughed aloud at the silliness of the tale. If anything, it seems the tabloid is trying to sell something false, not the “This Is Us” family.

On Thursday, Bella Hadid was spotted out in NYC with Australian model Jordan Barrett. The pair were seen emerging from a car together with Miz Hadid hiding her face behind a large pair of shades. However, the supermodel’s big smile was certainly noticeable.

As both runway stunners are reported to be single, we hope this means they are contemplating a relationship together. We mean, we’d just LOVE it if Yolanda Hadid‘s daughter found love again. As you surely know, things have been awkward for Bella as her ex, The Weeknd, has been seeing her longtime acquaintance, Selena Gomez.
And while the El Lay native has tried to keep herself busy since splitting from the Starboy singer, she didn’t necessarily handle the news of Selly G and The Weeknd’s romance well. We can’t be the only ones who remember that middle finger salute, right???
Nonetheless, it seems like Bella is ready to move past the heartbreak surrounding her former flame. In fact, just the other day, it was revealed that the brunette beauty had unfollowed her ex squeeze on Instagram. Although, The Weeknd did unfollow her first.
Still, we aren’t certain that Barrett is Bella’s rebound guy. Within the last two months, Jordan’s been linked to a number of beauties — including Lara Stone and Sahara Ray. Not to mention, Bella was seen sharing a cigarette with a mystery man earlier in the day on Thursday.
So, hopefully the It-girl is playing the field. You get yours, girl!

Young dancer Merrick Hanna received a standing ovation during the last “America’s Got Talent” Judge Cuts on Tuesday. Watch the video below!
Hanna is a former “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant. As Gossip Cop reported, the tween was part of last season’s “The Next Generation” competition. While he wowed in his audition on the season premiere, he failed to make the Top 10 and compete in the live shows for the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer.” Now, however, he has a significant chance of doing far on “America’s Got Talent.”
For his audition, which aired on the “AGT” season 12 premiere back in May, Hanna performed an emotionally stunning routine that moved all of the judges. Since then, his performance has racked up more than seven million viwers on the NBC talent competition’s official YouTube page. Now he had to win over the judges again in hopes of making it into the quarterfinals. And this time, he wanted to be “happy and more energetic.”
Hanna told the judges, he was feeling “a little bit nervous, but mostly just excited.” And before he started the new routine, Simon Cowell could be heard saying how much he loved his first audition. Well, he seemed to love this one just as much, which was set to the inspiring song “Something Wild.” Cowell gave a standing ovation, as did Mel B.
“The way that you managed to tell the story within your performance makes you different, relevant, cool,” the mogul told Hanna. Howie Mandel noted that every movement was “so right on and so exact.” He added, “There’s so many good people, but I’ll fight for you.” To that, Heidi Klum added that there are 20 strong acts competing for the last seven spots in the quarterfinals. But it seemed like Hanna had a good shot. Check out the video below!

Cynthia Nixon was asked about running for governor of New York on Tuesday’s “Today” show. Watch the video below.
Nixon has been politically active for a number of years, and openly criticized current governor Andrew Cuomo on “The View” a couple of months ago. A few days ago, it was reported that certain political groups are urging the actress to challenge him in a Democratic primary. And on NBC’s morning show, she was asked point-blank about the speculation she’ll run for office.
Guest co-host John Cena told Nixon, “You’ve been making a lot of noise in the headlines recently. People are talking about you possibly stepping outside the screen.” She coyly responded, “Yes, I have heard those rumors as well.” When Al Roker asked if she would “care to comment on those rumors,” she remained tight-lipped, merely saying, “I’ve heard ’em. I’ve read ’em.”
“Are you going to run for governor?” Roker pressed. Nixon then finally opened up. “You know, I think there are a lot of people who would like me to run. And I think for a variety of reasons, but I think the number one is education,” the “Sex and the City” star said. “I’ve got three kids who are in public school or came through the public school system. And we’ve got a real problem on our hands in New York state.”
She explained, “We are the 49th in terms of equitable funding. That means there’s only one state that’s worse than us, and that’s Illinois. And Governor Cuomo likes to say that we spend more per a pupil than any other state, and that is actually true, but the only reason that is true is because we spend so much on the kids in our wealthiest districts.”
“But there’s actually, between our 100 richest schools and our 100 poorest schools, there’s a $ 10,000 gap on what we spend per pupil,” Nixon stressed, adding, “That gap between our richest schools and our poorest schools is wider under Governor Cuomo than it has ever been before, and that’s gotta stop.” All that led Roker to push, “Can you make an announcement today?”
Nixon responded with a smile, “I cannot!” So, he asked, “Will you come here to do it?” Still smiling, she told him, “I cannot make that statement either.” Still, Cena told her, “You are very passionate and well-read about what you would like to fix in New York.” She replied, “And not only me.
