There’s been quite a bit of back-and-forth flying around between Dr. Luke and Kesha‘s respective legal teams and spokespeople over the last few days, particularly centered around whether or not the producer allegedly raped Katy Perry — and, now, whether or not Kesha and/or Lady GaGa allegedly heard about that alleged incident from a major music label CEO.

Both sides have dug in to their respective positions and seem unwilling to budge even an inch in either direction, with Kesha doubling down on the music label CEO claim from Friday evening, and Dr. Luke denying everything altogether.

Well, now, Dr. Luke has released a brand new statement through his legal counsel further denying any and all sexual assault allegations against him.

This statement is a whopper (below):

“Kesha and her legal team are fully aware that Ms. Perry has unequivocally confirmed that she was not raped by Dr. Luke. Kesha and her attorneys should be ashamed of themselves for not publicly acknowledging this and apologizing.

Instead, they continue to publicize this and other falsehoods. In fact, Kesha‘s false accusation involving Ms. Perry came to public light only because Kesha‘s attorneys filed the accusation publicly.

Kesha‘s latest press release saying that a music executive told her that Dr. Luke had raped Katy Perry is fully contradicted by that executive. He denied saying that.

Contrary to her latest defamatory press statement, the evidence, including sworn testimony, will show the full extent and scope of the scurrilous falsehoods Kesha spread.

As the old and true adage goes: Oh what a tangled web you weave when first you practice to deceive.”

Wow… what a last line, right?!?!?!

No response yet from Kesha’s legal team reacting to that response from Kesha’s legal team, but as soon as we hear something, we’ll let you know.

Is Kim Kardashian ready to divorce Kanye West? That’s what a certain tabloid once again wants readers to believe. But Gossip Cop can debunk the report, just like we rightly have in the past.

Inside its latest edition, Star is blaring in a headline, “Kim & Kanye Billion-Dollar Divorce Shocker.” If that sounds familiar, it’s because the magazine has spent the last four years publishing untrue stories about a “billion-dollar divorce” for the couple. In fact, Gossip Cop even has a photo gallery showing this is an oft-repeated claim (see below). Not once has the outlet been correct, and it still isn’t now.

According to the newest version of this tired, old narrative, Kardashian is “ready to bail on their long-troubled marriage” because she’s “fed up” with West’s “crazed ‘creativity.’” The publication claims that instead of unwrapping a glitzy gift from his wife for his recent birthday, the rapper “may be opening a stack of divorce papers.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Kim’s just exhausted by all of Kanye’s drama… She’s furious at the way he’s embarrassed her family and dragged their name through the mud.”

As for West’s position, the tabloid’s supposed snitch contends, “He’s ready to ditch anyone who isn’t behind him, even Kim. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shrugs it off and tells Kim to just go ahead and file the papers.” The magazine goes on to regurgitate already debunked claims about a “mid-nuptial agreement,” and Kardashian consulting with a divorce attorney. The outlet’s alleged tipster also claims West “hasn’t had much time for the kids,” and asserts a breakup “could end up being the most expensive divorce in Hollywood history.”

Again, the publication has been saying this for quite literally years. And while the tabloid usually doesn’t have proof to back up its allegations, there’s plenty of evidence that its claims are wrong. Kardashian and West have spent the last few days celebrating daughter North’s birthday in New York, which goes against the contention that he doesn’t have “time” for his kids. As for his own birthday, that’s come and gone without the Grammy winner being served with divorce papers. Instead, Kardashian threw West a birthday party.

And as opposed to being ready to divorce her husband, just a few weeks ago Kardashian marked their anniversary on Twitter with a post that read in part, “4 years down and forever to go… I can’t wait for forever.” She has also shown support for his “crazed creativity,” with Kardashian posting on Twitter earlier this month that she was “so proud” of him for dropping back-to-back albums. There’s similarly evidence that he has no intention of “ditching” her either, with West himself posting on Twitter last month, “Gratitude and happiness best describe what my wife means to me. I’m deeply grateful and purely happy.”

Conclusion: Star has a documented history of untruthfully claiming Kardashian and West are on the verge of a “billion-dollar divorce.” Gossip Cop and time have repeatedly proven the tabloid wrong. In regards to these latest claims, there’s significant evidence that Kardashian and West are still united as a couple, including statements they themselves have made in recent weeks. It is apparent Kardashian is not, in fact, ready to divorce West, and this story has no merit to it, just like the ones that came before it. As such, we are rating it a zero.

This is probably not the message Raven Gates and Bekah Martinez were hoping to send about friendship and girl power and all that good stuff now that their (supposedly mutual?) friend Becca Kufrin is taking her turn on The Bachelorette…

The pair of former Bachelor contestants — Raven and Bekah from Nick Viall and Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s seasons, respectively — got into it on Twitter today and it got ugly… ugly enough for tweets to get deleted and one to eventually block the other!!

It all centered on Raven initially calling out Bekah for wanting more Twitter followers, and the exchange — with some attitude from Raven to start! — quickly devolved.

Justin Timberlake started his career on “The Mickey Mouse Club” and remains one of music’s biggest stars roughly 25 years later. Of course, along with a massive amount of fame often comes gossip, much of it usually untrue. Below, Gossip Cop looks back at five wrong rumors we’ve busted about the performer, both professionally and personally.

In April 2017, Life & Style announced Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel were expecting their second child. The tabloid claimed the actress “only just” found out she was pregnant again, but described the couple as “so excited.” It was even said they were both hoping the baby would be a girl. Upon investigating, however, Gossip Cop learned that there was not another child on the way and the story was untrue. In fact, we pointed out earlier this year that a full 12 months have gone by since that report was published, and Timberlake and Biel still haven’t had a second baby. Clearly our reporting was right.

Last August, a slew of misguided outlets claimed Timberlake and ex-girlfriend Britney Spears were collaborating on a new song, and that Timbaland had confirmed the duet. The speculation was sparked after two podcasters relayed an encounter with the producer, in which he was asked about “Justney,” a fan nickname for the former couple. Timbaland, though, misheard, and thought they had asked about “Justin,” prompting him to respond, “It’s coming! New music… 2018.” Due to the confusion that ensued, a Timberlake insider clarified to Gossip Cop that he did not actually have any new music with Spears in the works. Sure enough, months later when Timberlake revealed the track list for his album Man Of The Woods, it was apparent he had collaborated with Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton, but had no song with Spears coming out.

In September, OK! declared on its cover that Timberlake and Biel were getting a “$ 300 million divorce.” The publication and an unnamed, untraceable “source” claimed the couple had been “in a bad place for months,” and now their marriage was “in jeopardy.” The article failed to mention, however, that both had recently showcased their commitment to the relationship in social media posts that referred to “my husband” and “my wife.” On top of that, Gossip Cop was told by one of our impeccable insiders that they had no intention of breaking up. Rather, said our contact, “They support and love each other.” And not only did the couple not split, but they’ve continued to show off their devotion. In January, for example, Biel posted on Instagram in honor of Timberlake’s birthday, “A picture says a thousand words. And thank goodness because there aren’t enough to express ALL the aspects of my love and respect for you.”

Also in January, the site YourNewsWire peddled an article claiming Timberlake had controversially said mandatory vaccination schedules are “un-American.” The blog attributed a number of quotes on the subject to the singer, such as, “If everyone took care of their own children, we wouldn’t have to worry about taking care of the herd, or making anything mandatory, or any of that communist stuff.” But as Gossip Cop explained, a simple Google search indicated that these statements were only circulating on fake news websites, and had never appeared in any legitimate outlet when it would’ve been international news had Timberlake actually made such remarks. Notably, FactCheck.org includes YourNewsWire on its list of sites that publish fake news stories, as does Politifact.

Lastly, in March the National Enquirer alleged Timberlake was dropping a Prince tribute from his then-upcoming tour after criticism he received for honoring the late music icon at the Super Bowl. The supermarket tabloid contended that in the wake of the “devastating reviews” for his halftime performance, “all Prince references” had been “removed” from his stage show. But these were bogus claims, as there weren’t plans in the first place for the “Man Of The Woods Tour” to feature an ongoing Prince tribute. As Gossip Cop pointed out, Timberlake explained on “The Tonight Show” that his intention with the segment at the Super Bowl was “to do something for this city and something for him that would just be the ultimate homage,” since the event took place in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis. It had nothing to do with his concert tour.

A-listers like Timberlake often have the rumor mill churning, but usually through no fault of their own. Simply because certain stars are popular, the gossip media exploits them and their fan bases with bogus narratives. But, as demonstrated here, there’s usually evidence to prove the tales are phony. Gossip Cop will continue transparently separating fact from fiction when it comes to Timberlake and all celebrities.

NeNe’s husband Gregg Leakes has been diagnosed with cancer, the RHOA star recently announced, and friends, family, and the rest of the reality TV cast have all reached out to the Leakes family with their support and love.

NeNe revealed as much in an Instagram message she posted on Thursday, confirming that Kim was among the many who have reached out to her and Gregg with their emotional support and love.

Obviously, battling Gregg’s cancer is the thing that really matters here.

But if it also means Kim and NeNe can get back and salvage whatever friendship and respect that still lies between them, then all the better!
