Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are not having secret sleepovers at her home roughly six months after their separation, despite a claim. Gossip Cop can bust the false story. As widely reported, Aniston has been away on a film shoot since June.
The National Enquirer alleges Theroux has “secretly parked himself back in her life — and garage,” based on a paparazzi photo that purports to show two of his cars at Aniston’s Los Angeles property. The arrangement has supposedly led to “hush-hush rendezvous as the pair try to restart their romance.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “At first, Jen was letting Justin keep the cars there until he could arrange to have them moved, but it has given them the opportunity to reconnect.”

The untraceable snitch maintains the vehicles “represent how wonderful life was for him when he was living with Jen in L.A.” For her part, the supermarket tabloid similarly contends, “Jen is also attached to the car[s] because [they represent] a happy marriage time in their marriage.” Curiously, the magazine suggests the cars have just been sitting at Aniston’s residence for half a year, despite a picture only recently surfacing.
The outlet claims Aniston “allowed” Theroux to keep the vehicles on her property all this time knowing “he’d have to come and collect… soon or later.” Asserts the purported insider, “Sure as anything, it happened — and that was the catalyst for them to talk about the possibility of reuniting.” Since then, the publication insists “the cars have brought them back together under one roof,” and alleges they’ve “even been having secret sleepovers to see if they can get along well enough to give things another go.”
But Aniston and Theroux haven’t been “under one roof” or having “secret sleepovers” at her home, and that’s rather easy to prove. In June, the actress began production on Netflix’s Murder Mystery. At the time, the streaming company announced, “Filming began this week in Montreal and will also film in locations throughout Europe.” Indeed, Aniston was spotted on the Canadian set as early as June 20.
She was up north for most of July, until the production moved to Europe. On July 21, Aniston was seen in Portofino, and she was still in Italy as recently as this past weekend, when Aniston and co-star Adam Sandler visited George Clooney’s Lake Como villa. There have been no sightings of the “Friends” star in California because she hasn’t been there in a month and a half. So even if Theroux were to be crashing at his former home, he wouldn’t be doing so with Aniston by his side as there is unequivocal evidence that she’s been out of town.
It’s also rather odd that the tabloid is now claiming a “reconciliation” is in the works after spending months alleging the exes have become enemies. In fact, in July the magazine went as far as contending Aniston confessed that she shouldn’t have ever married Theroux. The outlet seems to deal in unsubstantiated extremes instead of factual reality.
