A story about Justin Theroux being “blown away” by Jennifer Aniston’s InStyle shoot was made-up. It is now the third time a certain site has claimed to know how a big celebrity reacted to Aniston’s new cover story. Gossip Cop can bust this apparent fabrication.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Aniston is the cover star for InStyle‘s September issue. When her interview and photo spread was released online on Wednesday, it largely dominated the celebrity news world as it marked her first interview since she and Theroux split in February. To capitalize on all the interest, HollywoodLife has been making up related stories.

First, the blog purported to know Brad Pitt’s reaction to Aniston’s shoot. Then it spread fake news about Angelina Jolie’s supposed reaction to Aniston’s interview. And now there’s a third offering that further exploits the subject. The focus here is on Theroux, and the website wants readers to believe that a “source close to Justin told HL exclusively how much he’s ‘missing’ her!”

“Justin’s seen all the pictures [from InStyle] and he’s blown away by how sexy Jen looks,” claims this untraceable snitch, who adds, “He kind of misses her and is suffering major FOMO.” He “kind of” misses her and has a fear of missing out on the woman he separated from six months ago? Uh, okay. But then the outlet doesn’t want readers to “assume” Theroux “wants her back.”

Contends the unnamed tipster, “They’re genuinely still really good friends but that’s it. There’s no talk of getting back together.” Rather, the publication’s “source” maintains, it’s just that “they’re still each other’s biggest cheerleaders.” Then where was this “source” when Aniston signed on to not one, but two Netflix movies in recent months? There was no expression of public support then. And if it’s just about a physical attraction, why were there no comments from a “source” last week when Aniston was photographed lounging in a bikini?

This is the bottom line: HollywoodLife is seemingly so desperate to capture online traffic related to Aniston’s cover story, it is manufacturing reactions supposedly from this person and that one. But in all three cases, the quotes don’t make much sense when examined closely. And not one reputable outlet is corroborating the assertions with similar reports. These claims are only coming from a site that been caught so many times making things up that its nickname is HollywoodLies.

However Theroux does or doesn’t feel about Aniston’s shoot, positive or negative, fans shouldn’t expect to get genuine insight from this particular blog. After all, if the website really had a “source” as alleged, it wouldn’t have wrongly issued a “new couple alert” for Theroux and Aubrey Plaza earlier this year, and it wouldn’t have spread bogus tabloid claims about Theroux dating Selena Gomez. The outlet repeatedly proves it can’t be trusted, and this time is no different.

Johnny Depp is not facing a “deadly liver crisis,” despite a completely baseless report. Gossip Cop can debunk the sensational claim. The actor is perfectly healthy.

According to the Globe, however, the movie star is suffering from a deadly liver disease that could put him in “an early grave at age 55.” This diagnosis isn’t coming from a doctor who’s actually treated Depp. Instead, the magazine came to its conclusion based on an analysis from an institution that “uses a computer program to detect medical ills from a person’s voice.”

Listening to two recent interviews with Depp, the institution came to the conclusion that “his liver is stressed” and he’s suffering from “long term, very low energy, indicating there is not an easy or quick fix for what is going on.” Using speech analysis alone, the institution also believes the actor has “microscopic holes” in his intestines that allow “undigested food, poisons, bacterial byproducts and toxins to pass into your bloodstream.”

It should be noted, medical doctors normally test liver function with physical examinations, including blood tests, ultrasound, MRI’s, biopsies and similar procedures. Voice analysis is not a common practice when it comes to diagnosing liver diseases. Also, the Globe’s sources haven’t personally treated Depp. They came to their medical conclusion using audio of the actor from random interviews.

It was first alleged that Depp was facing a health crisis back in June when photos emerged of the actor looking thinner than usual while signing autographs for fans in Europe. At the time, however, Gossip Cop was assured by a source close to the star that he was perfectly healthy. This was backed up by reliable publications such as People, which noted that Depp was feeling “happy and healthy” while touring with his band, The Hollywood Vampires. E! News similarly reported there’s “no reason to be concerned” for Depp. Meanwhile, “Entertainment Tonight” noted that Depp is healthy, despite some fans being concerned about his well-being. The movie star remains in good health.

In fact, the website Pop Culture shared photos of Depp on stage with The Hollywood Vampires less than a month ago, and noted that he “appears to be healthy as ever.” In the images, the actor indeed looks much less frail than he had the month prior. Additionally, Depp spent much of the summer touring around the world with his band. It’s highly unlikely that a person suffering from a deadly liver disease would have the capacity to rock out on stage on a nightly basis.

A few weeks ago, Depp made a surprise appearance at Comic Con to promote the upcoming movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Once again, it’s not logical to believe that someone on the verge of death would make so many public appearances around the world. As was recently established by many reputable outlets, Gossip Cop can confirm that Depp is still in good health.

A website is purporting to know Brad Pitt’s reaction to Jennifer Aniston’s InStyle interview and photo shoot. This was made-up. Gossip Cop can expose the fabrication.

On Wednesday, InStyle released its September cover story, which focuses on Aniston, who gives her first interview since splitting from Justin Theroux earlier this year. In addition to talking with her pal Molly McNearney for the feature, she also posed for a number of photos. Hours later, HollywoodLife is pretending it has the “details” on whether Pitt is “now thinking about rekindling a romance with the hottie.”

A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Now that she has this recent interview with InStyle out there, he knows people will be rekindled with the interest of them getting back together and people talking about the both of them. But he isn’t bothered by it.” The site’s untraceable snitch goes on, “So much time has past [sic] that he looks back at his time with Jen and remembers the good times and if she ever talks about him from this point forward he will be OK with it.”

“We all move on and he has moved on and being bothered by anything she might say about him now or in the future really doesn’t do anything good for him,” concludes the alleged tipster. Okay, but is Pitt thinking about “rekindling a romance” with Aniston? The blog never actually says. The outlet even asks in its headline whether he’s “missing her,” and doesn’t answer that question, either.

What also makes this bizarre is that Aniston didn’t talk about Pitt at all in her interview. The lone mention of him came in the very beginning, when McNearney jokingly asked her, “When are you getting back together with Brad? Did Justin ever wear your jeans? And when are the twins due?” She replied, “You’re the only person who could start an interview like that and actually send me into hysterics, not hives.” The online publication even acknowledges Aniston “didn’t specifically name Brad” in the article.

What she did do was speak generally about the misconceptions that “Jen can’t keep a man,” and that “Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.” HollywoodLife doesn’t offer Pitt’s response to those characterizations. Instead, the site babbles on and on about how they’ll always be linked, even though, as noted above, she didn’t mention him at all in the interview. It is really the blog doing the linking, because it has a habit of tying exes together, whether it be Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, or Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

During the previous two days, the website ran stories on all three couples. In each case, the outlet wanted readers to believe it had an “exclusive” scoop, when in reality, the narratives weren’t believable or even logical. Just to recap what’s going on here, Aniston is the subject of new magazine cover story in which she didn’t discuss Pitt at all, but the publication is claiming to know his reaction. But instead of featuring responses to anything Aniston said, its unnamed “source” just speaks generally about how she and Pitt will always be linked. The site doesn’t even fulfill its own promise to reveal whether he’s “missing” her and wants to “rekindle” their romance.

Gossip Cop is also told by a Pitt confidante, who declined to go on the record, that the quotes presented did not really come from someone in his world. That was also the case earlier this year, when the blog manufactured a story about Pitt’s mom supposedly being “so happy” that he was “talking again” with Aniston. Just as that tale was clearly made-up and totally bogus, so is this new one.

But the 21-year-old candidly told Refinery29 that she’s more than ready for people to let that whole thing go.

Moretz explains:

“I’m over it. There are so many things that we talked about last night on Watch What Happens Live and the fact that literally the one headline across every singe major news site right now is me and Kim Kardashian. It’s a dead story, in my opinion. I’m tired of being asked about it, and I’m tired of that story being picked up, especially when I’m promoting a movie about conversion therapy, that is a very real, modern issue in America.”

She sums it up simply with this:

“There’s no need to keep harking back to something that literally happened three or four years ago now.”

Stories about Jennifer Aniston showing off a “revenge body” are fake news. As photos show, the actress looks the same as she did before her split from Justin Theroux. Gossip Cop can expose a second tabloid this week for wrongly leading readers to believe otherwise.

On Monday, we called out New Idea for ridiculously claiming Aniston was flaunting a new “revenge body” to show Theroux and ex-husband Brad Pitt “what they’re missing.” The magazine pointed to paparazzi pictures of the actress relaxing poolside in Italy, stressing how “a bronzed Jen looked stunning as she showed off her washboard abs and lithe limbs.” Asserted the outlet, “Looking good is the ultimate revenge for Jen.”

But as Gossip Cop explained, Aniston looked no different than she did while vacationing with Theroux in Mexico back in December. And her decision to lay out by a pool this month had nothing to do with getting “revenge” on him or Pitt. She was on private property during a break from filming Murder Mystery when paparazzi infringed on her privacy and used long lenses to surreptitiously take her picture. This “revenge body” narrative was a sensational, bogus take.

And now the National Enquirer is guilty of concocting a similar storyline. According to the publication, Aniston is “putting her ‘revenge body’ out for the cameras” and “looking great while shooting Murder Mystery.” The tabloid contends the movie will be “Jen’s first chance to show off a brand-new revenge body since her bitter split.” What “new” body? Maintains the magazine, “Jen gave herself a complete overhaul while getting ready to turn 50 years old in Feb. 2019.”

The purported “overhaul” is said to include “lip injections, fillers, breast implants and a fabulous brand-new wardrobe.” The outlet claims Aniston “began to cultivate her hot new look at the start of summer,” and quotes a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Word among her friends is she’s already had a boob job.” The phrase “word among her friends” indicates this supposed “insider” has no first-hand knowledge, and further shows that the publication itself doesn’t have direct confirmation.

Also, consider this timeline more closely: Filming for Murder Mystery began the week of June 25. It can take weeks to fully recover from a breast augmentation, which means if Aniston had one “at the start of summer,” which is around June 21, she couldn’t have possibly been ready to start shooting her movie just days later. Despite this fallacy, the tabloid tries to substantiate its plastic surgery claim by quoting a doctor who has never treated Aniston and is only making judgments from paparazzi photos. But pictures of Aniston from the last decade show she looks virtually the same.

It should be noted that the snapshots used for this story are of Aniston filming Murder Mystery, which means she wasn’t trying to “show off” anything but simply play her character. Another problem with this tale is that it’s alleged Aniston’s “main motivation” for her supposed “revenge body” has been her “outrage” over Theroux “seemingly dating” Emma Stone. As Gossip Cop has repeatedly reported, they are not dating. In fact, Stone recently said Theroux is “like my brother.” The tabloid first tried to claim Stone and Theroux had inspired Aniston to get a “revenge makeover” a month and a half ago. It’s not any more true now than it was then, which is to say it’s visibly not true at all.

The Enquirer and New Idea are both trying to dramatically sell rather run of the mill paparazzi photos of Aniston by concocting phony backstories for the pictures. The truth is much simpler: Aniston, looking the same as she has for years, lounged by the pool recently. Aniston, looking the same as she has for years, shot a new movie. Her appearance in either case has nothing to do with Theroux, and these stories trying to get readers to believe otherwise are nothing but fake news.
