Leonardo DiCaprio Did NOT Tell ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ Crew To Avoid Eye Contact With Him

Did Leonardo DiCaprio tell Once Upon A Time In Hollywood crew members to avoid making eye contact with him while working on the movie? That’s what is being alleged buried deep in a lengthy new article about the actor, his latest film, and working with director Quentin Tarantino. Gossip Cop, however, can correct the inaccurate claim.

In a newly published piece about DiCaprio tied to the upcoming release of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, while discussing the actor’s “air of mystery,” The Hollywood Reporter contends “some crewmembers on Once Upon a Time were instructed to avoid making eye contact with him.” It bears mentioning no one specifically is quoted as saying that, and the assertion is simply attributed to an unnamed and untraceable “on-set source.” Additionally, after including that unsubstantiated claim, the magazine simply moves on from it without furnishing any proof of that type of behavior.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Gossip Cop looked into the allegation, and there’s nothing to justify that one-line, out-of-the-blue slam of DiCaprio. Not one source from the set or individuals close to Tarantino could confirm that to us when we investigated. And as opposed to the trade publication, which based its information on an anonymous individual, DiCaprio’s rep went on the record with us to deny the claim. Gossip Cop is exclusively told, “He did not request that no one be in his eyeline.”

Equally significant is that in DiCaprio’s more than three-decade career that’s included 30-plus films and numerous other TV appearances, no one has ever publicly accused him of asking crew members to “avoid making eye contact with him.” While it’s true the actor prizes his privacy and rarely gives interviews, including declining to comment in the THR story, he’s not known for being rude to those he works with. Also, while Tarantino was quoted in the piece about collaborating with DiCaprio, he only praised the Oscar-winner.

Perhaps because DiCaprio is such a professional, Gossip Cop has not had to debunk false rumors about him on set in the near-decade we’ve been in business. Most of the phony articles we’ve corrected about him are somehow related to his personal life. For instance, we recently busted a tabloid tale that untruthfully maintained DiCaprio and Brad Pitt were fighting over their co-star Margot Robbie. In reality, DiCaprio is dating model Camila Morrone; Robbie is happily married; and Pitt’s relationship with the actress is purely platonic.

And before that nonsense, Gossip Cop shot down a report that wrongly insisted DiCaprio and Jennifer Aniston were dating after being introduced by Pitt. That, of course, was also a work of fiction. Much like the current article about DiCaprio not making eye contact with the crew of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, the aforementioned stories were similarly based on unidentifiable tipsters. If there’s something to truly avoid, it’s claims predicated on unknown sources.

Is Ryan Seacrest’s New “Romance” Upsetting Kelly Ripa?

Is Ryan Seacrest’s new “romance” upsetting Kelly Ripa? That’s the premise behind a magazine report that asserts his “Live” co-host, as well as his mom, Connie, don’t approve of his relationship with “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Larissa Schot. Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and we can debunk this inaccurate story.

According to Life & Style, four months after the 44-year-old TV personality split from Shayna Taylor, Seacrest has “already moved on” to 24-year-old Schot. The outlet notes that after he was photographed kissing Schot in the South of France in late June, Seacrest’s mom, Connie, and Ripa made it known to him how they “don’t approve at all” of his “romance” with the model. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “They both think it’s time he settled down… with someone his own age!” “Nobody knows if this is just a rebound or if Ryan’s experiencing an actual midlife crisis,” adds the supposed tipster.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

While Seacrest was indeed spotted making out with the young model in the French Riviera, the tabloid appears to be overselling the seriousness of his “romance.” And it’s most assuredly sensationalizing the reaction to it by his mother and Ripa. Gossip Cop reached out to a Seacrest insider, who was not authorized to speak on the record, and we’re told he and Schot are “not in a relationship, so there is nothing to approve or not approve.”

Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised by the falsity of the article, considering how many times we’ve busted that outlet for it’s unfounded tales about Seacrest. For instance, the same tabloid swore up and down a few months ago that Seacrest was bailing on Ripa and “Live,” and moving back to the West Coast. Her camp told Gossip Cop it was “not true,” and of course Seacrest is still living in New York and working on the morning show.

Additionally, the publication has been proven wrong in the past when purporting to know what Ripa thinks about Seacrest. Last year, the outlet insisted Ripa was replacing Seacrest with Jerry O’Connell as her “Live co-host. At the time, Ripa’s team shot down the claim, and obviously a year later there’s been no switch in personnel or even talk of it.

Gossip Cop also exposed the tabloid when it ran a cover story nearly two years ago to the date that untruthfully maintained Ripa and Seacrest were in a feud after it was announced he would host “American Idol” again. In that made-up piece, it was contended he was thinking about “leaving the show.” Obviously, that was untrue. It bears mentioning as well that when the report came out, spokespersons for both Ripa and “Live” said the article was a fabrication.

And lastly, a couple of months after that bogus tale, the same magazine published yet another cover story which wrongly alleged Kim Kardashian was replacing Ripa as the host of “Live,” thanks to Seacrest who produces “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Gossip Cop pointed out then how the article was incorrect, and once again our sources and time have proven us right. What’s actually upsetting is how often Life & Style publishes reports about Seacrest and Ripa that are indisputably false.

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Marriage In Trouble After She Returns To ‘Wild’ Ways?

Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Marriage

(Getty Images)

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s marriage is in trouble because she’s returned to her “wild” ways, claims one of this week’s magazines. Gossip Cop, however, can correct the inaccurate report. We’ve learned it couldn’t be further from the truth.

According to an OK! article titled, “Miley Can’t Be Tamed,” after finally marrying Hemsworth in 2018 it seemed the “Wrecking Ball” singer had “changed her ways for good.” The tabloid then quotes a so-called “source” as saying how before they tied the knot, “Miley promised Liam that her crazy days were over, and that she was ready to be in the mature relationship he always wanted.” But after being wed for a while, contends the publication, the novelty of it all is “wearing off.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

“It’s like she’s slowly going back to her old self, pushing boundaries and seeking attention in all the wrong ways,” says the unnamed source without providing any proof. The supposed tipster goes on to insist it’s not sitting well with Hemsworth. “Deep down, he’s worried,” asserts the purported insider.

It appears the tabloid’s article was manufactured after Cyrus told Elle how she and Hemsworth have a “modern marriage,” and that while she’s in a “hetero relationship” she’s also “attracted to women.” It bears mentioning that this is not news to Hemsworth, who she’s been with her for the better part of 10 years. And while the outlet references that interview, it glaringly doesn’t furnish any examples of how Cyrus is “going back to her old self,” or what in her marriage is in trouble, causing Hemsworth to be “worried.”

As is practice with these magazines, the entire premise is predicated on quotations from an anonymous source, who may not even know Cyrus or Hemsworth. Conversely, Gossip Cop reached out directly to Cyrus’s camp to comment on the publication’s allegations. The singer’s manager assured us, “None of this is true.” We were also exclusively told Cyrus “couldn’t be any further away from her old partying ways,” and that she “rarely goes out other than to work out and work.”

Gossip Cop is not completely surprised by this report, considering how many times we’ve busted OK! and its sister publications for untrue stories about the couple. Several months ago, for instance, we debunked the magazine when it wrongly maintained Cyrus and Hemsworth’s marriage was at risk because they “can’t stop fighting.” We also shot down a tale a few weeks ago about Hemsworth supposedly getting angry with Cyrus for acting wild at the Met Gala. Clearly that was also unfound because the actor happily shared several photos of them enjoying their time together at the annual fashion event in New York.

And just a month ago, another tabloid claimed Cyrus and Hemsworth fought at a Malibu party over her “obnoxious antics.” In that flimsy report, which Gossip Cop also corrected, it wasn’t even mentioned where or when the alleged argument took place. That was similarly based on the unsubstantiated comments from an unknown “source.”

These phony narratives about the singer being “wild,” and it causing trouble in her marriage, have been so rampant that Gossip Cop recently did a roundup of a few false split rumors about Cyrus and Hemsworth. The reality is Hemsworth knows exactly who his wife is, and loves her for it. Actually, Cyrus even alluded to that on Instagram this year when she posted a long tribute to Hemsworth that included her writing, “I love how you let ME be Me.”

What’s truly “wild” is how these outlets repeatedly make up bogus stories about Cyrus and Hemsworth’s marriage, and try to get away with it. Fortunately, Gossip Cop thoroughly investigates every article. And because the latest tale is so inaccurate, we’re giving it a zero on our fact-or-fiction meter.

Jennifer Aniston Warned By Katy Perry To “Stay Away” From Orlando Bloom?

Jennifer Aniston Katy Perry Orlando Bloom

(Getty Images)

Was Jennifer Aniston warned by Katy Perry to “stay away” from Orlando Bloom? According to one of this week’s magazines, the singer found “inappropriate” texts from Aniston on her fiance’s phone and told the former “Friends” star to keep her distance. Gossip Cop, however, can debunk this story.

Life & Style claims in a new report that Perry’s “worried” Bloom and Aniston are “more than friends” after she discovered some questionable text messages from the actress on his phone. The tabloid asserts the “Roar” singer is now “considering issuing a warning” to Aniston. “Katy wishes Jen would back off,” contends an anonymous source.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

A number of things bear mentioning, including how the magazine offers no information whatsoever about what the texts allegedly say and how they’re supposedly “inappropriate.” There’s no evidence these messages even exist, nor is there anything concrete to back up the premise about Perry being concerned her fiance and Aniston are anything “more than friends.” Also, if this were truly an issue, why would Perry be “considering” give Aniston a warning instead of actually doing something?

Significantly, this completely unsubstantiated story is entirely hinged on an unnamed and untraceable “source.” Conversely, Aniston’s spokesperson assures Gossip Cop the article is just nonsense. Additionally, Perry’s rep also went on the record with us to call the publication’s tale “rubbish.”

Frankly, the outlet’s sources for those two women have been pretty off-base in the past. For instance, last year the tabloid absurdly insisted, based on another unidentifiable “source,” that Perry was pressuring Robert Pattinson to get married. As Gossip Cop noted at the time, the two are strictly buddies who have never been romantically involved.

The same outlet also recently published a wholly fictitious cover story about Aniston and Brad Pitt going on a getaway in Rome with George and Amal Clooney. Once again, the magazine’s article was predicated on a nameless “source,” while reps for both Pitt and Aniston said the claim was categorically untrue. And as Gossip Cop pointed then, none of those stars were even in Rome when the tabloid alleged they went on a “double date.”

Lastly, this phony love triangle narrative is not even new. Two of Life & Style’s sister outlets have unsuccessfully tried it before. A little more than a year ago, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline when it falsely maintained Perry and Aniston were in a “fight” over Bloom. The reality is Aniston and Bloom are platonic pals, who share a mutual manager and have attended several of each other’s milestones with significant others alongside.

And earlier this year Gossip Cop shot down a National Enquirer article about Aniston and Bloom having a “secret affair.” That too was unfounded. The truth is nothing is going on between Bloom and Aniston, and Perry isn’t remotely “worried” about that fake scenario.

Nicole Kidman A “Few Weeks Pregnant” With Keith Urban Baby?

Nicole Kidman Pregnant Keith Urban Baby

(Getty Images)

Is Nicole Kidman just a “few weeks pregnant” with her and Keith Urban’s third child. That’s the premise of a new magazine cover story. But Gossip Cop is exclusively told the baby claim is “not true.”

According to Star, Kidman and Urban’s marriage was on “shaky” ground, but then she found out she’s “a few weeks pregnant.” The tabloid further maintains it only took “one round of IVF” for the actress to conceive. And to lend credence to its report, the outlet quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Getting pregnant at Nicole’s age [52] without any help wouldn’t exactly be a cinch… But fortunately, she didn’t have to go through months and months of IVF to make it happen.” “It’s truly a miracle,” adds the anonymous tipster.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The publication then rehashes the false narrative about how the country singer and the Oscar-winner were “on the verge of divorce,” but now they’re going to “scale back on work so they can reconnect as they eagerly await the baby’s arrival.” “Keith has promised to spend every free minute he has with Nicole, and she’s vowed to be present and attentive when they’re together,” shares the unnamed “source.”

The outlet goes on to assert Kidman and Urban are “planning to take off work when the baby arrives around Christmas.” And its almost assuredly phony “source” notes how Urban has been a doting husband, even getting his allegedly pregnant wife water and “an extra pillow for her feet.” Wait, is the “source” for this article the same person who’s fed the tabloid other made-up pregnancy stories?

On October 31, 2018, Gossip Cop busted Star when it similarly insisted Gwen Stefani was pregnant and having a “miracle” baby, thanks to IVF. In that fictional report, the often discredited tabloid quoted yet another untraceable “source” as saying Blake Shelton would get his supposedly pregnant girlfriend “an extra pillow for her feet” as well. A skeptic might think the publication and its writers are simply recycling manufactured storylines and word-for-word fake quotes.

Much like that fabricated and provably wrong article, the latest tale about Kidman being a “few weeks pregnant” with her and Urban’s third child is also a total lie. Unlike the magazine, which seemingly tries to push its bogus claims through unidentifiable sources, Gossip Cop was openly and transparently told by Kidman’s rep that the outlet’s cover story is 100 percent “not true.” She and Urban were never about to split, nor are they adding to their family via IVF or otherwise.

It seems the magazine churns out so many falsehoods that it forgot how earlier this year it similarly contended Kidman and Urban were having a “miracle” baby, with the help of IVF. The premise was unfounded then and still is. Actually, Kidman herself has been saying for years that she’s “past that point” of wanting or having more kids.

And, as mentioned above, the magazine has a history of publishing inaccurate reports about Kidman and Urban getting divorced or being “on the verge” of it. Two years ago, Gossip Cop debunked the same tabloid when it splashed on its cover that Kidman and Urban were getting a $ 300 million divorce. Maybe it’s time for that outlet to separate from its sources who know little to nothing about Urban and Kidman.

Truth About Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga Reuniting For More Movies

Bradley Cooper Lady Gaga Movies

(Getty Images)

There have been several stories about Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga reuniting for more movies. And while it’s reasonable to expect them to work together again at some point in the future, there are currently no plans for them to co-star in any films yet. Here are a few wrong film reports about Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper working together again that Gossip Cop has debunked.

Just a few days ago, Gossip Cop busted Grazia for its article about Cooper casting Lady Gaga in his Leonard Bernstein biopic that he’s writing, directing, and starring in. Glaringly, the tabloid didn’t even note who the singer would play in the movie about the legendary composer of West Side Story. And, as we pointed out, generally big casting news like that is covered by the major trade publication, but not one of those legitimate outlets have tied Gaga to that project. Lastly, a mutual friend of Cooper and Gossip Cop assured us the claim wasn’t true.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Last month, Gossip Cop shot down a tale from the Globe that wrongly maintained Jennifer Lawrence and Lady Gaga were competing to co-star in Cooper’s new movie, a remake of the 1947 film Nightmare Alley. Gaga, of course, most recently acted alongside Cooper in A Star Is Born, while Lawrence has collaborated with him on a number of films, including Silver Linings Playbook and Joy. Again, a Cooper confidante told us there was “zero truth” the the magazine’s article.

Back in January, we corrected OK! when it falsely alleged Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga were battling for the lead role in a movie about Cleopatra. The singer’s rep exclusively told Gossip Cop the story wasn’t true, but that didn’t stop OK!’s sister publication Star from doubling down and contending Gaga was going to reunite with Cooper for the Cleopatra movie, in which he would play her lover, Mark Antony. Once again, her spokesperson confirmed it was completely inaccurate.

There has been so many stories about them reuniting for more movies that earlier this month NW even asserted Cooper and Gaga are trying to become the next Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The piece claimed they’ve already churned out enough screenplays for a decade, featuring them in “hot and heavy” scenes together. A supposed source further remarked how “rare” and “lucky” Gaga and Cooper were for finding a person who’s a “partner both at work and at home.”

To draw the comparison even more to Jolie and Pitt, the tabloid’s purported insider blathered about how Cooper and Gaga also want “a brood [of children] as big as Brangelina” have. While the two remain close and hope to work together again someday, as Gossip Cop has previously reported, Cooper and Lady Gaga are not romantically involved in real-life couple. As the singer herself said during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the public was simply “fooled” by their acting.

Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin “Marriage Troubles” Because Of Selena Gomez?

Justin-Bieber Hailey Baldwin Selena Gomez

(Getty Images)

Are Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin having “marriage troubles” because of Selena Gomez? That’s the sensational claim being made by one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop, however, investigated the report, and there’s no truth to it.

According to Life & Style, nearly a year after Bieber and Baldwin wed in a New York City courthouse, the couple is struggling. A so-called “source” tells the publication, “Hailey thought her marriage to Justin would be different. They’re young, rich, and famous and should be traveling the world on wild adventures.” Instead, asserts the tipster, “Justin just can’t get out of his slump some days, and Hailey often thinks it’s because he’s stuck on Selena Gomez.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

And while the magazine notes how Bieber has said he’s “heads over heels in love” with Baldwin, the outlet nevertheless contends his wife is “convinced” he’s still enamored with his ex-girlfriend. The source adds, “Justin says his heart is Hailey’s and, of course, she wants to believe that, but every time Selena comes up in conversation, he shuts down.” “It’s putting a major strain on their marriage,” concludes the purported insider.

While much has been written about the two, the reality is Bieber and Baldwin are very much in love. In the past, Bieber has gushed on Instagram to Baldwin, “I fall more in love with you every day.” And a little more than two weeks he also shared on the same social media platform, “You are mine and I am yours,” along with the hashtag “#foreverandever.” For her part, a little more than a week and a half ago, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of Bieber proposing to her, Baldwin wrote on Instagram, “I have never loved you more… My heart belongs to you forever.”

Those are hardly the words of a couple having “marriage troubles.” Nor are they the sentiments of a man who’s “stuck” on his ex. Regardless, Gossip Cop reached out to a mutual pal of ours and Bieber, and we’re told he and Baldwin are “very happy.” Our impeccable insider says the young couple continues to be smitten with each other, and “Selena isn’t a thought” to Baldwin and Bieber, who remain focused on one another.

Life & Style has not been entirely reliable with its claims about Baldwin, Bieber and Gomez. A couple of years ago, for instance, Gossip Cop busted the magazine when it wrongly maintained on its cover that Bieber was going to make Gomez a “pregnant bride.” Not long after that, the outlet insisted Bieber and Gomez were engaged and going to “secretly marry” in early 2018. Of course, both of those tales were more tabloid fantasy than reality.

Nor has the publication gotten anymore accurate when it comes his relationship with Baldwin. Eight months ago, the same magazine incorrectly swore up and down that Bieber and Baldwin were headed for a divorce. That too was obviously untrue. The only one with actual “troubles” is the outlet, which keeps printing falsehoods from untrustworthy sources.

Truth About Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry Being At “War” Over Prenup

Katy Perry Orlando Bloom

(Getty Images)

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are not at “war” over the details of their prenuptial agreement before they get married, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can set the record straight. We’re told there’s no truth to the claim.

According to Star, there’s only “one thing standing in the way” of Bloom and Perry becoming husband and wife and that’s “money.” To back up its narrative, the tabloid quotes what it calls a “tattletale” as saying, “Katy and Orlando are on different financial levels, so their teams are battling over their fortunes.” The unnamed source notes that’s making their prenup “complicated.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

The anonymous tipster goes on to contended the fighting is not personal nor over “who makes more.” Simply, asserts the publication, Perry is “richer by a significant amount” than her movie star fiance because of her music and work on “American Idol” and other projects. The supposed source says, “Katy doesn’t want to make a big deal out of it,” but she’s being advised by her team to “play it safe.”

The outlet further maintains that while Bloom is “acting cool,” inside he’s “growing agitated with the entire ordeal.” “Orlando doesn’t blame Katy, but he’s starting to feel their marriage is more like a business arrangement,” alleges the magazine’s “snitch.” “It’s putting a damper on everything,” concludes the source.

Although the singer’s bank account does exceed the Lord Of The Rings star’s net worth by hundreds of millions of dollars, and both have been married and divorced before, talk of a prenup putting them at “war” is completely false. The tabloid actually furnishes no proof whatsoever for it claim, and it’s whole tale is based on the remarks of an unidentifiable and unaccountable “source.” Conversely, a rep for Perry specifically went on the record with Gossip Cop to call the outlet’s story “rubbish.”

It seems Star needs to find better sources when it comes to the celebrity couple. Weeks after they got engaged, the outlet tried a similar narrative, alleging Perry and Bloom were going to split because she’s richer and more famous. Of course that article didn’t even make sense because if those were real issues, Bloom wouldn’t have proposed and Perry wouldn’t have said “yes.”

And just days before that phony report, the same tabloid published another absurd story about how Perry’s friends feared her engagement to Bloom would end over his partying. And while the magazine couldn’t name one pal who expressed concern, a slew of their real friends, including Kate Hudson, Gywneth Paltrow, and Gwen Stefani, publicly congratulated them on social media after they got engaged.

Not only is the outlet’s premise wrong, but it’s also not very original. Eight months ago, and well before he even popped the question, Gossip Cop busted the magazine’s sister publication, Life & Style, when it ran a story that also inaccurately insisted Perry and Bloom were battling over a prenup. It was untrue then, and it’s still false.

Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Got “Married” In His Backyard?

Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston

(Getty Images)

Did Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston get “married” in his backyard in Los Angeles? Last year, a magazine was so confident that happened, the outlet splashed the claim on its cover, along with a photo of Pitt in a tuxedo and Aniston in a white dress presumably at their supposed wedding. The truth, however, as Gossip Cop was first to report, was that the article’s entire narrative was nothing more than a fabrication, and the two exes have never rekindled.

It was exactly 365 days ago that In Touch inaccurately alleged Pitt and Aniston had rewed, and that their nuptials were attended by his six kids and “best man” George Clooney. Of course, the magazine had no proof whatsoever to back up its sensational story. Instead, it based its piece on a number of phony quotes from a person identified only as a “friend,” who was either a complete fraud that tricked the gullible outlet or the publication made up the source itself. In either case, the article about Aniston and Pitt tying the knot was a lie.

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

As Gossip Cop noted at the time, Pitt and Aniston could not even get married because were they weren’t officially divorced from Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux, respectively, nor are they to this day. Significantly, at the time the tabloid suggested the ceremony supposedly took place, Clooney was in Italy making “Catch-22,” while Pitt’s kids were in England, where Jolie was filming Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil. And the alleged bride was in Montreal with Adam Sandler shooting Murder Mystery.

Not only were the premise and quotes unquestionably false, but the outlet also photoshopped together two unrelated pictures to give the impression Pitt and Aniston were standing next to one another at a fancy event, such as a wedding, all while never informing its readers about the fake image it created. Lastly, while the tabloid predicated its cover story on an anonymous and unaccountable “source,” Gossip Cop had Aniston’s rep comment on the record. The spokesperson called the magazine’s article “made-up” and “ridiculous.”

So, why is Gossip Cop bringing up this debunked cover story now? The answer is it’s been 12 months since In Touch tried to dupe readers into believing the Aniston and Pitt got married again, and it’s still wrong. Additionally, the tabloid has never published a correction or retraction. Instead, it has simply continued concocting more tall tales about Pitt and Aniston.

In fact, a month later, the same outlet published yet another phony cover story that maintained Pitt and Aniston were going on a “honeymoon in Italy.” That work of fiction was followed up with another front page report from nine months ago that swore up and down Pitt and Aniston were expecting a “miracle baby.” Unfazed by repeatedly being caught by Gossip Cop for churning out one whopper after another, the magazine then declared a pregnant Aniston was spending Christmas 2018 with Pitt and his kids.

By the beginning of January 2019, the same tabloid contended Pitt and Aniston were “having a baby girl.” Like a deadbeat dad who doesn’t support his kids, the magazine couldn’t support any of it claims either about the former “Friends” star being pregnant. The publication then abandoned the baby angle and three weeks later it asserted Aniston and Charlize Theron were fighting over Pitt. But, as widely reported and confirmed by the actor’s rep directly to Gossip Cop, Pitt and Theron never dated or were ever romantically involved.

Fast forward to two week ago, and the very same tabloid splashed on its cover how Pitt was dating two models, an actress and one of his kid’s teachers. Like the previously mentioned articles, that also wasn’t remotely grounded in reality, his rep assured Gossip Cop. Basically, there’s at least a year’s worth of evidence that when it comes to reports about Aniston and Pitt, In Touch is unreliable and not necessarily wedded to the truth.

Angelina Jolie Had “Showdown” With Her Bodyguard’s Girlfriend?

Angelina Jolie Bodyguard

(Getty Images)

Angelina Jolie did not have a “showdown” with the girlfriend of her bodyguard on the New Mexico set of her movie Those Who Wish Me Dead, despite a new report. It’s the latest in a series of untrue articles about Jolie and her bodyguard. Much like the previous ones, Gossip Cop can also debunk the current story.

The National Enquirer claims Jolie has a “close bond” with her bodyguard, and when his girlfriend supposedly visited the set of her film recently it “sparked a tense showdown” between the two women. After intimating there’s something more going on between the actress and her protector, a source for the magazine contends, “The level of tension between Angelina, the bodyguard and his girlfriend was off the charts.” The alleged tipster further maintains that during the unnamed girlfriend’s two-day stay, “She would show up at random and watch Angie and the bodyguard like a hawk.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(‘div-gpt-ad-1526939461036-0’); });

Gossip Cop is going to stop here and point out some major red flags so far with the supermarket tabloid’s article. For starters, it’s odd that the outlet seems to have insight into the nature of the bodyguard and Jolie’s relationship and yet does not know his name. Also significant is that the quotes from the publication’s “snitch” appear to be wholly fabricated. An actual person wouldn’t refer to Jolie as “Angelina” in one sentence and then decide to call her “Angie” in the following phrase, such as the magazine sloppily did.

After those big-time errors, the tabloid goes on to assert Jolie and the bodyguard were attached “at the hip” until his girlfriend showed up. Prior to her appearance, claims the untraceable and seemingly made-up source, Jolie “melted” whenever she was around him and “gushed over him like he was her whole world.” He was “her everything,” insists the magazine. But when the unidentifiable “girlfriend” stopped by the set, Jolie retreated to her trailer, where she cried so much there were tears visibly “streaming down her face” when she finally emerged.

The tabloid has been desperately trying for some time to maintain Jolie is dating her bodyguard. Just a month ago, Gossip Cop busted the publication when it similarly claimed Jolie “melts when she’s around this guy,” and that they have been “inseparable.” And much like that article, the current one also alleges the Oscar-winner’s kids have developed a “closeness” with the bodyguard, which will undoubtedly upset Brad Pitt.

In the story from June, however, the “new suitor” pictured in the piece was a young man named Oliver Crane. He’s the son of Simon Crane, who has been the stunt coordinator for or assistant director of several of Jolie’s movies, including Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil. Gossip Cop has learned that Oliver works for Jolie’s family and is close to the kids, but is not involved romantically with her in any manner. It also bears mentioning how it’s been widely reported the actress is not dating at all these days, and is focused only on her children and career.

And, of course, not once in its mistake-filled report does the Enquirer provide any evidence whatsoever that Jolie has embarked on a romance with her nameless bodyguard, or that this person’s purported girlfriend was on the set of Those Who Wish Me Dead for a couple of days. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with an individual in Jolie’s camp, who’s not authorized to speak on the record, and we’re assured the whole story is “not true.”

Gossip Cop is not entirely surprised by the falsity of the report, considering how many times we’ve corrected the outlet. Just around this time last year, we exposed the tabloid for a phony cover story about how Jolie collapsed amid her custody battle with Pitt. That never happened.

Additionally, just a few months ago, Gossip Cop nailed the magazine for a front page article that wrongly claimed Jolie was dying and leaving her fortune to Maddox, while cutting out her five other kids. That too was nothing more than a work of fiction. Maybe the outlet should have a “showdown” with its Jolie sources, who have proven to be repeatedly unreliable.
