Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are growing apart over their 15-year age difference? That’s what one of the tabloids is claiming. Gossip Cop looked into the story and we’ve learned it’s false.

The couple traveled to Las Vegas for Richie’s 21st birthday on August 24, but an article in the latest issue of OK! claims the celebration turned sour. “Sofia was dancing with her besties and having an amazing time until she looked around and saw Scott slumped over his phone,” an unnamed tipster tells the magazine. “She was so disappointed.”

The alleged source adds, “Sofia’s mature on her own, but the second she gets around her pals, she regresses,” while Disick “can’t stand all the shrieking and commotion.” The reality star purchased an Aston Martin for his girlfriend for her birthday, but the tabloid claims she wasn’t satisfied with the gift. “Sofia knows he spent a lot of money on her, but that doesn’t replace the attention she craves from him,” adds the suspicious source. “She wishes he’d let loose every once in a while with her friends, but he’s like an old man to them.”

None of this is remotely accurate. Not only did our source in Disick’s camp dismiss the story as nonsense, but the magazine’s own sister outlet, Star, claimed this week that Disick proposed to Richie on her birthday. That didn’t happen either, but it’s quite telling that two magazines owned by the same company are publishing such wildly different reports.

This is just a case of two sister publications trying to cover their bases by reporting two separate futures for the same couple. Should Disick and Richie ever get engaged or break up, either tabloid can claim it “got it right” while completely ignoring the incorrect article.

Meanwhile, OK!’s claim that Richie wasn’t happy with Disick’s gift doesn’t at all match up with model’s own words on the matter. Richie posted a picture of the car on her Instagram story, along with text awarding Disick the “Best BF Award.” That’s not quite something you’d post if you were disappointed with your partner’s gift, which was obviously a generous one.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had to correct OK! for publishing an inaccurate story about the couple. Gossip Cop busted the magazine in April for falsely claiming Kourtney Kardashian, Disick’s ex, was “tearing apart” his relationship with Richie. The tabloid clearly doesn’t know anything about the reality star or his romance. We’ll continue to correct untrue stories about the couple as they emerge.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are constantly feuding with each other in the world of the tabloids. In reality, the co-stars of Apple’s upcoming series The Morning Show are close friends. Here are five wrong rumors about their relationship that Gossip Cop has busted.

In November 2017, shortly after it was announced the two actresses would be working together, OK! alleged Aniston and Witherspoon were fighting over equal pay. The story quoted a supposed insider as saying, “Reese wasn’t happy to find out” that her co-stars was supposedly making more money for the TV show. That simply wasn’t the case. Aniston and Witherspoon are also co-producers, and are being paid equally for their work on the show. Individual reps for both stars also assured Gossip Cop the two were getting the same salary.

After filming began, Life & Style falsely claimed Aniston and Witherspoon were feuding on set. The story, again quoting a questionable “source,” said Witherspoon was a bully who was “calling all the shots” and “acting more like Jen’s boss than her colleague.” Aniston’s spokesperson told Gossip Cop on the record that the story was nonsense. The article was published to capitalize on the two appearing together at an Apple event to promote the new streaming service and their show.

A couple of months later, New Idea also wrongly reported Aniston and Witherspoon got into a fight on the set of The Morning Show. The genesis of this fake story came from photos of the actresses filming a scene in which their characters get into a fight. The tabloid tried to sell the images as a real-life actual altercation, hoping no one would look too deeply into the origins of the photos. Gossip Cop was also told by a production insider that there was zero tension on set.

In July, after The Morning Show had wrapped filming, Star alleged Witherspoon had “ditched” Aniston in favor of Kerry Washington, her co-star on the upcoming Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere. The tabloid claimed Witherspoon realize she “had nothing in common” after working together, whereas she and Washington “have so much in common – they’re both these type-A, supermom personalities juggling 25 things at once.” In addition to sounding like silly high school drama, Gossip Cop confirmed with a rep for Aniston that she and Witherspoon were still “great friends.”

Shortly later, OK! wrongly reported that The Morning Show had ruined Aniston and Witherspoon’s friendship. The story rehashed many of the other false reports from earlier in the year, including using a lot of the same quotes and fake reasons for the co-stars’ supposed falling out. An unnamed insider claimed the two actress had “grown apart and are just gritting their teeth trying to get through this experience without embarrassing themselves.” Once again, Aniston’s spokesperson told Gossip Cop the feud rumors were ”absolutely false.” If you’re looking for drama between Aniston and Witherspoon, check out The Morning Show when it debuts this fall. You won’t find any between the actresses in real life.

Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder take multiple trips together every year, but the tabloids frequently twist their vacations into false stories about the spouses trying to save their marriage. Gossip Cop has consistently debunked these outlandish claims. Here are some of the worst offenders.

Just last week, OK! came up with a phony story about Roberts and Moder taking a trip to Hawaii to “salvage” their marriage. The tabloid claimed the two were experiencing a “serious lull” in their relationship, so they headed to their “happy place” and successfully reignited their “spark.” In reality, the couple was not experiencing any sort of marital issues and happily celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary in July.

In May, In Touch published a nearly identical piece after the couple went to Hawaii together. The outlet also contended that Roberts and Moder took the trip to “save their marriage” following a string of “heated arguments.” There was no reality to the situation, especially considering that the two were spotted packing on the PDA on the beach during their vacation.

When the couple traveled up north in February, Gossip Cop busted OK! after it swore Roberts and Moder used the Alaskan getaway to reconnect. The outlet tried to validate the fake story by adding that the trip did in fact save their marriage, which is why the couple seemed so happy together. In reality, the couple’s happiness has existed as long as their marriage, and Roberts has pointed that out in multiple interviews both before and after the tabloid’s article emerged.

Just before the Alaska story, Woman’s Day wrote a bogus article about Roberts and Moder visiting Rome for a “make-or-break holiday.” That article even alleged the trip was a failure, but the passage of time has proven that the actress and her husband are very much together. As Gossip Cop pointed out at the time, Roberts and Moder’s love for one another is evident in their public appearances and frequent social media posts.

Couples tend to have hobbies they enjoy doing together, and for Roberts and Moder, that appears to be traveling. No matter how often the tabloids claim these trips are taken in desperate attempts to repair their marriage, it doesn’t change the fact that the two simply enjoy going away together. Regardless of where Roberts and Moder go next, Gossip Cop will keep busting these made-up rumors.

A tabloid is claiming Tori Spelling has developed feelings for BH90210 co-star Brian Austin Green after he publicly discussed their past hookup. The story is totally false. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

According to OK!, Spelling is pining for her co-star following his recent admission that they had a fling while making the original Beverly Hills, 90120. A supposed source says the actress has “convinced herself Brian’s brought up their past affair for a reason. She’s suddenly flooding his phone with calls and texts, saying they should chat and get their kids together.” The alleged insider adds, “She’s always suffered from low self-esteem. Now Brian’s flirting has made her feel desired again.”

There are several layers of misinformation and misrepresentation in the tabloid’s piece. For starters, to say Green “brought up their past affair” isn’t accurate. The actor admitted to the hookup on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, during which a caller asked if it ever happened. Green only affirmed that he and Spelling hooked up back in the ’90s after host Andy Cohen told him the actress herself had already talked about it.

Additionally, much of the tabloid’s report seems to have been ripped from the latest episode of BH90210. The reboot features the cast of the original series playing fictionalized and exaggerated versions of themselves attempting to film a reboot of the original show. Spelling’s character begins to have feelings for Green’s character after they share an intimate scene in the show-within-the-show. This is a plot line for the characters, not the real actors. The tabloid is apparently just too lazy to come up with its own rumors this week.

Both Green and Spelling are happily married and dedicated to their respective spouses, Megan Fox and Dean McDermott. Just two weeks ago, Spelling shared a picture on Instagram of her husband performing stand-up comedy with a caption detailing how his humor was one of the reasons she fell in love with him. The only feelings involved here are the ones Spelling has for her longtime husband.

With the first season of the 90210 reboot wrapping up, the tabloids have targeted the former stars with plenty of gossip worthy of being plot points on the show. Last month OK! falsely claimed Spelling and Jennie Garth were “fighting” over the casting of Denise Richards. The tabloid has decided to switch from a fake feud with one of her co-stars to an imaginary romance with another.

More recently, Woman’s Day came up with a phony story about Fox threatening to divorce Green after he confirmed the hookup with Spelling. If the tabloids are so desperate to talk about drama surrounding the actors, they might just want to start discussing episodes of the new show instead of coming up with these bogus rumors.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t leaving the United Kingdom, but the tabloids are once again pushing this phony premise. Gossip Cop has debunked this bogus rumor multiple times in the past. The most recent take on the subject is no more true than the rest.

Both RadarOnline and the Daily Mail are regurgitating the narrative this week. The blog claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to relocate to Los Angeles, while the British publication specifically says the couple is looking for a home in Malibu. Both outlets are wrong.

For starters, Markle can’t secure British citizenship if she spends more than 270 days outside of the U.K. in the three years following her marriage to Prince Harry. This makes a move to the United States entirely out of the question.

Back in 2017, RadarOnline claimed Prince Harry and Markle were moving to Hollywood. The story was based on the fictional idea that the former actress wanted to return to Los Angeles after Prince Harry told her that he didn’t want her to put her acting career on hold. This narrative didn’t make a lick of sense.

Not only has Markle willingly and completely retired from acting, but her most recent role — seven seasons on the legal drama Suits — was filmed almost entirely in Toronto. There’s no reason she’d want to “return to LA” after not spending all that much time there in the first place. Considering the two never ended up moving to Hollywood in the two years since that article, Gossip Cop came out ahead on this one.

This past July, Life & Style published a story about Prince Harry and Markle leaving the royal family and moving to Africa. The tabloid alleged that Markle was “fed up” with having to follow royal traditions, so she insisted on a “move to southern Africa,” and her husband chose his wife over his family.

The tabloid went as far as declaring that the two were planning to move into “a $ 10 million farmhouse” equipped with a laundry list of luxuries. Of course, it was never specified where exactly in “southern Africa” this farmhouse was located. As time has proven, Prince Harry and Markle continue to perform royal duties and reside in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

In August 2018, Life & Style claimed Markle was “fleeing” to Los Angeles to hold an emergency meeting with her mother to discuss “family drama.” The article was entirely misleading, using photos of Markle’s 2017 trip to Austin, Texas in an attempt to trick readers into thinking that they were photos of Markle traveling to LA that week.

The gossip magazines have no clue what’s actually happening with the royals, but instead garner reader attention through fake “reports.” To no one’s surprise, Prince Harry and Markle are remaining in Britain, despite these latest stories claiming otherwise.

Tom Cruise is not revealing his “side of the story” in his divorce from Katie Holmes, despite a false tabloid report. The bogus story is also filled with inaccuracies about the movie star’s relationship with his 13-year-old daughter Suri. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.

“The Truth About Tom” reads a headline in the latest issue of In Touch, which claims Cruise is “finally telling all” about Scientology, his split from Holmes and why he hasn’t seen his daughter in several years. The unreliable outlet attempts to make it look as if it has an exclusive interview with the actor, which isn’t the case.

“The whole world has been waiting for this,” says an alleged insider. “Fans have been craving this. Tom talking about Suri makes him more human, especially when you see megastars like Bradley Cooper and Chris Hemsworth with their kids all the time.”

It’s widely believed that Cruise hasn’t seen his daughter in years because Holmes left Scientology with the young girl when they split. The anonymous tipster, however, says the actor “recently sent a message to Katie – not directly but through their intermediaries, and it shocked everyone involved. Tom made it clear he intends to see Suri again. Something seems to have shifted in Tom’s world.”

There are a number of problems with the tabloid’s fabricated report. For starters, it’s never explained when, where or how Cruise plans on “telling all” about his divorce, his daughter and his religion. He certainly hasn’t done so in the magazine, which has no insight into the actor’s position on these matters.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop is told on the record by Holmes’ spokesperson that “nothing has changed” when it comes to Cruise’s relationship with Suri. We’re told the movie star remains estranged from his daughter and hasn’t reached out to the actress about coming back into her life. Holmes’ rep further stresses that the gossip media should “stop using Katie’s daughter to sell magazines.”

It should be noted, In Touch claimed back in June 2017 that Cruise would be reuniting with his daughter. That hasn’t happened. Holmes still has full custody of the 13-year-old, with whom she shares a very close bond. The mom and daughter spend a ton of quality time together, and are frequently photographed strolling around New York City, where they live. Cruise leads a separate life and hasn’t been in contact with them.

In February 2017, the same tabloid published a similar article about Cruise reuniting with Suri. The publication always fails to acknowledge why these reunions haven’t happened, but just creates new ones instead.

It should also be mentioned, Gossip Cop busted OK!, the sister outlet of In Touch, when it claimed last week that Holmes would be telling her “side of the story” in her divorce from Cruise and recent split from Jamie Foxx. The actress isn’t “telling all” either. It’s only the tabloids telling their sides of the story about people and issues they know nothing about.

Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder didn’t get into an angry fight at a Rolling Stones concert last month, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop looked into the story. It’s simply not true.

According to Woman’s Day, the spouses of 17 year had a “tense” date night when they attended a Rolling Stones show in Pasadena last month. A so-called “concertgoer” tells the magazine that the actress “completely lost her cool” with her husband. The supposed “onlooker” adds, “Her jaw was clenched and she was talking at him and he looked like he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him.”

The alleged source continues, “It wasn’t clear what Julia’s problem was but Danny definitely looked to be in the firing line.” Another supposed insider adds, “The problem is when Julia loses it, it doesn’t matter where they are or who is watching. It’s always been this way but recently the arguments seem to be happening way more than usual and Danny can’t stand it.”

The suspicious tipster continues, “When Julia blows up, his first instinct is to just walk away, but he won’t do that in public because she’ll cause more of a scene yelling after him. So he has to stand there and take it.”

In order to illustrate its story, the magazine includes a few photos of the alleged altercation. One of the pictures appears to show the actress with a grimace on her face, but the image is deceiving. The Daily Mail posted a full video of Roberts and Moder following the Rolling Stones concert, and it shows what actually happened.

The footage starts off with the cinematographer walking his wife to the parking area with his arm wrapped around her. He’s doing most of the talking while the actress appears to be texting someone on her phone. The magazine’s picture of Roberts appearing to scowl was taken mid-sentence while the actress was speaking to a man who alerted her that her car was ready. She wasn’t the least bit upset and there was no fight between her and Moder.

Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first time that Woman’s Day has tried to create tension between the happy spouses. Back in February, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Roberts was “in hiding” amid marriage problems with her husband. Last year, the magazine made up an absurd story about Roberts leaving her husband for Brad Pitt. This latest article about the actress’s marriage is more fiction, and there’s video evidence to disprove it.

Katie Holmes is “devastated” over Jamie Foxx partying with other women in the wake of their split, claims one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop, however, can correct the report. We’re told it’s completely false.

According to a splashy report in Woman’s Day, Foxx spent a wild weekend partying with 30 women after his breakup with Holmes. It’s alleged that the actor went on a “48-hour bender” with a “bevy of beautiful women” while Holmes “was left to watch with dismay.” The outlet further contends that Foxx “flaunted his newfound freedom with late nights and as many as 30 girls hanging off his every word.”

The outlet peppers its story with quotes from a so-called “source close to Holmes,” who says, “She thought that after all this time together he’d have more tact.” Foxx has recently been photographed with 21-year-old aspiring singer Sela Vave, but the actor said in an Instagram story that he’s simply mentoring her. Still, that hasn’t stopped the tabloid from claiming Holmes is upset and angry about the situation.

The magazine quotes another unnamed “friend” of Holmes as saying, “Katie thought Jamie would have enough respect for her not to act like this,” adding that “she would have tried discussing this with him” if she was in Los Angeles, but Foxx “won’t even pick up the phone.” Despite what the anonymous source claims, Gossip Cop is told on the record by Holmes’ own spokesperson that the magazine’s article is “all lies.”

Earlier this week, Gossip Cop debunked a similar RadarOnline story about Holmes’ supposed reaction to Foxx’s so-called “fling” with Vave. That article also falsely claimed the actress was angry because she and Foxx “had an agreement to play fair and not embarrass the other by stepping out with anyone else in public.” Not only has the actor denied he’s romantically involved with Vave, but there hasn’t been any stipulations made about who Holmes and Foxx spend time with going forward.

As for Woman’s Day, this wouldn’t be the first time the magazine has pretended to have a scoop about the ex-couple’s breakup. Gossip Cop recently busted the outlet for wrongly reporting Holmes has been leaning on ex-fiancé Chris Klein following her split. The gossip media came up with countless false narratives about Holmes and Foxx when they were still together, and now new untrue stories are trickling in amid their split. Gossip Cop will continue to separate fact from fiction.

Miranda Lambert is not pregnant, nor is she having the imaginary baby in an attempt to save her marriage to Brendan McLoughlin. That phony premise is featured in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct it.

“Miranda’s Baby-Weight Blues!” declares the National Enquirer. Using language like “bloated” and “heftier,” the tabloid says the country singer looks to be pregnant. “Miranda has been talking about wanting a baby in the worst way,” says the outlet’s supposed source. “She feels that it might be just what they need to rekindle their romance!”

According to the tabloid, Lambert’s marriage has been shaky, and the magazine even repeats an old claim about her husband “partying with a bevy of babes in Manhattan.” The article then goes on to say that since Lambert returned from a vacation in Lake Tahoe, she’s gained weight. “Everybody thinks that some of the weight must belong to the baby she’s always talking about,” says the questionable tipster. “She was talking about babies right after they got back from their vacation — and that’s when she started piling on the pounds!”

First of all, Lambert’s marriage isn’t in trouble at all. Gossip Cop has busted that rumor multiple times, and there’s no truth to any of the claims about Lambert and McLoughlin divorcing or splitting. Just last week, Lambert posted several Instagram photos of the two happily hugging while celebrating her parents’ anniversary in Texas.

Second, the Enquirer’s accusations about “baby weight” are totally unfounded. Nothing in any of the latest photos of Lambert reveal anything resembling a baby bump. If Lambert was truly “gaining” weight from pregnancy as the tabloid indicates, it would mean she’s approaching her second trimester. Seeing how Lambert is on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour until late November, she’d be wrapping up the tour while nearly six months pregnant. That’s highly unlikely and not exactly something a first-time mom would put herself through.

As we mentioned earlier, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has had to address phony rumors about Lambert and her marriage. The Enquirer tried to push a story about Lambert and McLoughlin’s marriage being “on the rocks” in July, which included the claim about the “bevy of babes” word-for-word. Star, a sister publication of the Enquirer, claimed that Lambert and McLoughlin were headed for a divorce after just 122 days of marriage. That piece was as inaccurate as this latest one about Lambert’s so-called “pregnancy.”

Angelina Jolie is not causing problems in Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s marriage, despite a made-up report. The tabloids have been pushing this storyline for quite some time and are continuing to do so. Gossip Cop can once again confirm it’s false.

Last month, Jolie and Hemsworth attended the Marvel panel at Comic Con to promote their upcoming projects with the studio, The Eternals and Thor: Love and Thunder. The two stars taking the stage together was enough for Life & Style to create an “instant connection” between them. An alleged insider tells the outlet that following the event, Hemsworth and Pataky “got into a huge argument” over the time he spent with Jolie.

“Elsa seems jealous,” adds the supposed source, who also found it necessary to make a not-so-subtle reference to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. “Angelina’s used her charm to steal husbands before, so why shouldn’t she be?” The seemingly imaginary tipster adds, “It’s becoming an issue.” Actually, this bogus narrative is becoming an issue.

In addition to being untrue, this premise isn’t original. Less than two weeks ago, Gossip Cop busted Star for falsely claiming Jolie had slipped Hemsworth her phone number at Comic Con, and his wife was furious when she found out. Last year, RadarOnline wrongly reported that Jolie had a “secret plan to woo” Hemsworth after sitting next to him at the Golden Globe Awards. In reality, the two stars were randomly seated at the same table during the awards show, and they haven’t developed a relationship in the time since.

Also last year, Gossip Cop called out NW for making up a story about Jolie “crushing on” Hemsworth, who supposedly reminded her of a young Pitt. That article said the actress was determined to work with the Thor star just to get closer to him, so she was pitching a “Mr. & Mrs. Smith-style blockbuster” for the two to star in together. The two stars haven’t worked together. Instead, they’re both appearing in completely separate projects for Marvel.

Gossip Cop has debunked so many wrong rumors about Jolie and Hemsworth that we recently dedicated an entire article breaking down many of the false stories about them. As for this latest article, our trustworthy sources assure us it’s just more nonsense.

As we’ve also noted, Pataky posted a loving tribute to Hemsworth on Instagram in honor of his recent birthday. The actress referred to her husband as her “favorite human being” and the “best dad ever,” in addition to many other terms of endearment. Jolie hasn’t come between them in any way.
