According to a PopEater piece, Bill O’Reilly will be back on “The View” “soon.”
Earlier this month, a political discussion with guest O’Reilly became so intense, co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the set.
Afterward, O’Reilly gave his reaction to the incident, as did the gang at “The View.”
PopEater claims that Behar is eager to fight again, but quotes a “friend” as saying that Goldberg “wants no part of [it]” and may be conveniently absent on the day O’Reilly returns.
First things first: Is O’Reilly actually set to come back on the show?
No.
But it has nothing to do with the fight. He simply isn’t making media rounds like he was during heavy promotion for his new book.
A rep for “The View” says the PopEater piece is “completely fabricated,” and there is “not an ounce of truth” to it.
The spokesperson acknowledges that, yes, O’Reilly will likely return at some point in the future — but there is no plan to have him come soon, since there is nothing to promote.
And as for the notion that Goldberg would avoid sitting down with O’Reilly, we’re told that she’s absolutely not going to boycott the show.
