Britney Spears NOT Planning Vegas Wedding, Despite Report

Britney Spears is not planning a wedding in Las Vegas, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim, which falsely alleges the singer wants to tie the knot in Sin City. We’re told it’s “not true.”

According to the National Enquirer, Spears is organizing her “secret wedding” to Sam Asghari in Vegas. A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the supermarket tabloid, “Britney thinks she’s found her soulmate in Sam. All the others just don’t compare to this.” The publication’s supposed “insider” continues to claim that Spears’ dad and business manager Jamie even presented the model with an “iron clad prenup agreement to protect her $ 200 million fortune.” The purported snitch adds, “He signed it with no questions asked! She knows he’s not just with her for the money.”

The outlet’s questionable “source” goes on to maintain that Spears and Asghari, who have been dating for just over a year, are even “writing their vows.” Further purports the magazine’s dubious tipster, “The ceremony will be with just a couple of witnesses,” before asserting that “Britney’s worked so hard for years,” and “now she just wants to enjoy her life with Sam!”

Let Gossip Cop set the record straight on this seemingly manufactured claim. While Spears is happy with 23-year-old Asghari, she’s certainly not planning a Vegas wedding with the model. What’s more, even though Spears has openly spoken about wanting to get married again, saying that she “believes in the fairytale” of marriage, she isn’t getting ready to tie the knot anytime soon. A source close to the singer tells us the entire report is 100 percent “not true.”

Of course, we’re not remotely surprised by the publication’s latest concoction involving the singer. For example, Gossip Cop previously corrected the Enquirer when it falsely claimed in 2016 that Spears was having nipple surgery. We even called out the unreliable magazine when it untruthfully alleged Spears was adopting a baby girl from Africa. Much like those bogus stories, this latest one about Spears planning a Vegas wedding is equally phony.
