Cara Delevingne poked fun at her awkward interview about her new movie Paper Towns. The model and actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of her reading John Green’s book Paper Towns, which the film is based. She captioned the photo, “I JUST FOUND THIS BOOK! ITS AWESOME!” See the picture below.

As Gossip Cop reported, anchors of “Good Morning Sacramento” criticized Delevingne while she was on the show Tuesday saying she looked bored and “irritated.” They also asked her if she had even read Paper Towns, which prompted the model to respond with a very sarcastic answer and eventually abruptly end the interview. Delevingne took to Twitter soon after, writing, “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour.” She later added, “I am soooooo lucky and anyone who thinks I am unappreciative or ungrateful clearly doesn’t know me. I work really really hard and love what I do, I don’t feel like I need to apologize for being human #sorrynotsorry.”

As Gossip Cop noted, Green also defended Delevingne writing in a blog post on Medium.com that it was demeaning for the anchors to ask the runway model such a “stupid question.” He wrote, “I spent more than a month with her on tour in Europe and the U.S., and I watched as again and again, she was asked this question. Cara has read the book (multiple times), but the question is annoying  — not least because her male costar, Nat Wolff, was almost always asked when he’d read the book, while Cara was almost always asked if she’d read it.”
