Gwyneth Paltrow Is She Dating A New Guy?
August 14th, 2014 — Gossip
Rumor has it Gwyneth Paltrow is dating a new guy, four months after announcing her split from Chris Martin, her husband of ten years. Sources tell Us Weekly that Gwyneth is dating ‘Glee’ co-creator and producer Brad Falchuk. RELATED: Chris Martin says he and Gwyneth Paltrow are “still very close” but aren’t together romantically.
So is that why Gwyneth appeared in several ‘Glee’ episodes? Sources tell Us that things “started off professionally” before evolving into something more. Gwyneth and Brad were seen enjoying a two hour meal at East Borough in LA. An eyewitness said:
It was flirty.”
The couple reportedly spent a romantic weekend in Utah (no paparazzi there!) the weekend of July 25. Brad’s own marriage ended recently; his wife of 10 years filed for divorce in March 2013. They have two kids together as well. We’ll have to wait and see if anything comes of this budding romance. I’m sure they’re both taking things slowly.

Breaking News: Lauren Bacall Has Died
August 13th, 2014 — Gossip
I’m still reeling from Robin Williams’s death, but Hollywood now has another loss to mourn. Screen legend Lauren Bacall has passed away at the age of 89. The Humphrey Bogart Estate announced the news on its Facebook page. RELATED: Tributes are made to the late Robin Williams.
With deep sorrow for the magnitude of our loss, yet with great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the passing of Lauren Bacall.
Lauren Bacall was born as Betty Joan Perske; she was the daughter of Jewish immigrants in New York City, according to People. She started her entertainment career as a model with a photo shoot for Harper’s BAZAAR. Â Warner Bros. signed her to a contract in 1943, when she was 19 years old. That’s when she adopted the screen name Lauren Bacall.
One of Lauren’s most famous roles (and surely one of her most memorable) was her star turn in the film adaptation of the Hemingway story, ‘To Have and Have Not.’ She delivered the famous line to her co-star, Humphrey Bogart:
You know how to whistle, don’t you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow.”
Off-screen, Lauren and Humphrey fell in love. Their son, Stephen Bogart, said in an interview:
Everyone could see their love right there on celluloid. He was the great love of her life, and she his.”
Humphrey was married to someone else at the time, but after his divorce from his wife was finalized, he and Lauren were married in 1945. They went on to have two children, Stephen and Leslie. In 1956 Humphrey Bogart was diagnosed with cancer; he died in 1957. Lauren went on to have an affair with Frank Sinatra, of whom she later said:
He behaved like a complete s—.”
She later married Jason Robards and had a son, Sam, with him, but that marriage ended, reportedly due to Jason’s drinking. Lauren left Hollywood in the late 1950s and went on to have a distinguished career on Broadway, winning Tony Awards for her performances in ‘Applesauce’ in 1970 and ‘Woman of the Year’ in 1981. Although Lauren never won an Oscar for a specific movie role, she did receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy in 2010.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends. Below is a clip from a TCM Tribute that aired last year.

A FLIGHT between Tunisia and Scotland had to be diverted after a drunk passenger attacked cabin crew with her prosthetic leg.
The woman demanded “cigarettes and a parachute†and became aggressive when staff asked her to calm down.
Holidaymaker John Smith, from Falkirk, said the woman slapped a young girl in a neighbouring seat before unfastening her leg and swinging it at flight attendants.
The crew managed to put her in handcuffs while the pilot of Thomson flight 297 from Enfidha to Edinburgh made an emergency landing at Gatwick.
The woman was escorted from the plane by police, as passengers broke into a rendition of the hokey cokey.

Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Robin’s wife, Susan Schneider, told CNN:
This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken.

Olympic and Commonwealth Heavyweight Gold Medalist Lennox Lewis (right) with his promoter Frank Maloney at a press conference at Scribes wine bar in London, to announce Lewis’ upcoming fight with Andy Gerrard. Date: 07/09/1989
FRANK Maloney, 61, the boxing promoter who worked to make Lennox Lewis Britain’s first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, is now Kellie. Says Ms Maloney:
“I was born in the wrong body and I have always known I was a woman. I can’t keep living in the shadows. That is why I am doing what I am. Living with the burden any longer would have killed me. What was wrong at birth is now being medically corrected.â€
She’s been supported by many:
Johnny Nelson, former WBO cruiserweight champion, wrote on Twitter: “Frank Maloney, read your story. It’s your life, don’t make others stop who you are. Ignorance is the problem of others, not yours.â€
Tony Jeffries, the Olympic bronze medal-winner, noted: “Crazy the news about my old boxing promoter Frank! Fair play to him for coming out. #BeHappy #1Lifeâ€
Maloney stood as UKIP candidate in Barking at the 2010 general election.
