Although there hasn’t been any official confirmation of Rosie O’Donnell’s return to ‘The View,’ Elizabeth Hasselbeck still spoke out on it on Fox News. Elizabeth wasn’t even ON the show: she’s on vacation. Regardless, she called in to share her views about the story. She did NOT hold back. RELATED: Is Rosie O’Donnell returning to ‘The View’?

Elizabeth started out saying,

What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?”

Ooookaaay, there, Elizabeth! She added:

I do believe this has been in the works for a long, long time..[For O’Donnell] to have such ease the day of Barbara’s goodbye show was shocking to me. Would you think that the woman who left the way that she did would be producing [Walters’] goodbye show? Here’s the shocker: It was actually [O’Donnell’s] hello show.”

I’m not sure Rosie produced Barbara’s farewell show, but I think it’s clear Elizabeth isn’t happy about her old nemesis’s return to the table. Really, I don’t think she should care. She’s done with ‘The View’ and probably a much better fit on Fox, so everyone’s happy, right? You can watch Elizabeth’s phone interview on Fox’s website.

However, when interviewed for People’s Hottest Bachelors issue, Joe gushed about Sofia.

You’re gonna get me in trouble. I don’t want to be like a home-wrecker. This person is engaged,” he said of Vergara, who split from fiancé Nick Loeb in May. “She’s got the curves, she’s got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. Naturally beautiful. She’s feisty!
“There was a picture someone snapped at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner where they caught me looking at Sofia Vergara’s butt. When you talk about being manipulated, that’s what I’m talking about. It’s like a moment of zen. There is nothing in my brain. If only I could meditate that well. And what do you know: Sofia is single since splitting from Nick Loeb last May. Neither actor’s rep commented for the story, so we’ll have to wait and see…

Can you believe this is the same woman we used to see falling down drunk on ‘Jersey Shore’? There’s no question Snooki is all grown up with a child of her own and baby #2 on the way! She posted this baby bump pic on twitter. RELATED: Snooki isn’t exactly ready for a daughter.

TRANSFER Balls – Anorak’s regular look at speculation and rumour being presented as fact in the mainstream press. Today the Daily Mail leads with news that Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez is on his way to Arsenal.

Simon Jones writes:

Arsenal have agreed a £34million deal in principle with Barcelona for Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez but Barcelona are waiting to see if Juventus can match the offer.

Mirror Sport understands a deal hasn’t been completed yet, but the Gunners are working to agree a fee with Barcelona.

So. The consensus is that Sanchez is a Gooner.

Well, not quite.

On July 2, the Express told us:

Liverpool to bank Alexis Sanchez as Barcelona jet in for Luis Suarez deal

And on June 25, the Express reported:

LIVERPOOL have already completed the signing of Chile’s Barcelona star, and Arsenal and Manchester United target, Alexis Sanchez…

So said Phil Thompson, who told one and all:

“Just yesterday I heard things from people, newspaper guys who are very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal was actually done.”

Oh, and in case any Arsenal fans are feeling happy at the news, the Independent notes:

It’s so obvious that the paper’s watch expert can’t spot the difference between an expensive watch and one costing around £40.

After a four year engagement and two kids, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have made it official: they’re married! Their one year old son Ace was their ring bearer, and their two-year-old daughter Maxwell was their flower girl. Maxwell was accompanied down the aisle by her cousin, Bronx, Ashlee Simpson’s five-year-old son. Jessica reportedly wore a custom made Carolina Herrera gown. I’m sure she looked gorgeous. The rumors about Ben Affleck’s gambling causing a marital rift with Jennifer Garner continue to die down as the couple present a united front with their kids. Although there weren’t any pictures, stories about Ben and Jen’s ninth anniversary dinner in a Detroit suburb (where Ben is filming ‘Batman vs Superman’) were all over the internet. They attended a 4th of July parade in Pacific Palisades. Looks like they had a great time! Ben continued getting a workout between carrying around Seraphina and Violet, who’s eight years old- LOL. Jen kept an eye on little Samuel. I bet the kids had a blast at the parade; it looks like it was a lot of fun. How did you celebrate 4th of July?

When you look down Katie, those aren’t your feet. Altghough if they are, is this all a peecursor to ‘Feet Sock’ and ‘Feet Stockings’, dressing your feet in go-ahead alternative to bras?

But the better line was saved for her views on the punishment Rolf Harris can expect:

“He won’t be able to watch Sky, or X Factor.”

No. He’ll just sit on his bunk staring at his feet all day….
