Yesterday we saw the Kensington Palace Instagram pics of Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, visiting the Fostering Network. Those pictures were of her visit inside the organization and chatting with people. Kate’s baby bump is visible in her sixth month of pregnancy, but she hasn’t had to turn to maternity wear! This isn’t even an expensive dress: it’s a $ 75 (50 pound) dress from Hobbs. The princess makes it clear: you don’t need to shell out big bucks to look fashionable. You just need to have a good sense of fashion.
I especially love the pictures of her chatting up the kids. She seems to have the most fun talking to them, which makes sense. They’re the most enthusiastic and uninhibited.

While Chris has long hair (surely extensions) as Thor, his hair’s much shorter here. Which do you prefer? I have to say, I think Chris looks good here with short hair.

Did you see the new ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ trailer? Chris is one of the stars as Thor. He must get called back down to Earth for the latest catastrophe. It looks like whatever Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) did to create Ultron is something Thor knows a bit about. Check out the scene where Thor has Tony by the neck, telling him he doesn’t understand what he’s doing ;).
If Chris is in NYC, he’s probably promoting something. It’s a bit early to be promoting the new ‘Avengers’ movie; it’s more likely he’s doing the media rounds for ‘Blackhat’ or ‘In The Heart of the Sea.’ I’m going to guess ‘Blackhat’ since he was at the premiere for it last week. We’re going to be seeing a lot of him at the theaters this year!

I’d forgotten Gwyneth and Brad were engaged before it just ended abruptly in 1997. She told Howard Stern in a radio interview:
I definitely fell in love with him. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt!
I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met. It’s taken me until 40 to get my head out of my a**. You can’t make that decision when you’re 22 years old… I wasn’t ready, and he was too good for me. I didn’t know what I was doing.”
Hmmm… why would Gwyneth think Brad was too good for her? Of course there was no elaboration on that- LOL. She added that her father was “devastated” when they split. Gwyneth said that today they were on “friendly” terms, but they “don’t hang out.” So what happened with Ben?
He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend. I think that when you’re in your twenties, you can get swept up in [good looks]. When you’re a kid, you tend to be more shallow and you’re also immature, so you think that being with a good looking person validates yourself in some kind of way. It’s not true.”
Unlike with Brad, Gwyneth said her parents liked Ben but were fine when they split.
I think they appreciated how he’s super intelligent and he’s really talented and funny. They loved him, but they were okay with us not being together.”
Ouch? Well, it worked out for the best: Ben’s happily married to Jennifer Garner, and Gwyneth said she has no regrets about her marriage to Chris Martin. One regret she does have is the announcement of their split and using the term “conscious uncoupling.”
