Ready for a new reality TV show? Well, this one is being called a docuseries, but is there really a difference? Anyway, newlyweds Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are starring in an A&E docuseries called ‘Donnie Loves Jenny.’ RELATED: Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg tied the knot.

A&E is promoting it with a series of photos that look like the covers of romance books. I don’t have the right to the images, but you can see them on Us Weekly. Jenny explained:

We really enjoy being with each other and we enjoy making television, it’s in our blood. We said, let’s do some high vibrational TV, let’s keep that energy going and see if we can be part of a shift where there is an audience for people that want to see some happy and some good, instead of some dark.”
“I think people are going to be really surprised at how freakin’ hilarious Donnie is. I mean, when I started dating him, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, he is brilliantly funny!’ So I’m glad people will get a chance to see that in him.”

And don’t expect all the high drama we see on so many reality TV shows, either.

We’re very good about doing coping tools to kind of maneuver through anything that people might fight [about] so I’m not worried because everything we’re doing is us, and us is in the nicest vibration we always are in. And hopefully people will respond to that and not need crazy.”

Do viewers need the crazy? I guess we’ll find out. It’s tough to have a good story with no conflict. Are you going to tune into ‘Donnie Loves Jenny’?

The glamorous pair flew to Dubai where they glammed up for the evening to hit the Buddha bar restaurant at the Grosvenor House hotel.

Oh my goodness! I wasn’t expecting Blake Lively to deliver so soon. Well, she reportedly has: she and Ryan Reynolds are now parents. Talk about kicking off 2015 on a high note! RELATED: Blake Lively is keeping her baby bump stylish in stripes.

People reports the baby was born early but is doing well. The sex has not been revealed. As far as I can see, there hasn’t been any official announcement or confirmation from either Blake or Ryan’s reps.

Page Six reported that the baby was born just before the new year near their home in Bedford, NY. A source told Us Weekly:

The baby came early but everyone is happy and healthy. The Bedford house is all prepared. They’re going to stay up there for the baby’s first days.”

I’m glad to hear the baby is healthy. An early arrival can be pretty scary. Hopefully Blake is doing well, too. Assuming this is true, congrats!

Hmmm… something could be brewing in LA! Sources say Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are going to get married TONIGHT. No long engagement for these two. RELATED: Did Benji Madden pop the question to Cameron Diaz?

A source told People Cameron and Benji are going to tie the knot at their Beverly Hills home.

Getting married is the next step when you are totally in love and comfortable with someone. Cameron has found true happiness.”

They are said to have had a rehearsal dinner over the weekend as well as a small, intimate dinner that looked celebratory, according to an onlooker.

[T]hey were with a small group and had a really romantic table setting with rose petals and candles. It looked like they were celebrating.”

Cameron also reportedly had a bachelorette party this weekend. TMZ reports that trucks for catering, florists, and all the vendors you’d need to have a wedding have been spotted at Cameron’s place in Beverly Hills. I don’t know if we’ll get any kind of official confirmation anytime soon, so I wouldn’t say “we’ll know soon enough,” but this is exciting!

People are really taking notice of Jennifer Aniston’s performance in ‘Cake’! The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced yesterday that she will receive the Montecito Award at the end of this month, on January 30. This award doesn’t just recognize her acting in ‘Cake’: it’s in recognition of her entire career. RELATED: Jennifer Aniston says she and fiance Justin Theroux “know our truth.”

The festival statement included the following:

Once in a while a performer who we thought we knew gets outside of his or her comfort zone and shows us the unexpected. When that happens it is cause for celebration — and this is why the 2015 Montecito Award is bestowed upon Ms. Aniston.”

Past recipients of the award include Oprah Winfrey, Daniel Day-Lewis, Geoffrey Rush, Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet, Javier Bardem, Naomi Watts and Annette Bening. Congratulations, Jennifer! She’s gong to kick off the awards season in style.

Netflix created a New Year’s Eve countdown starring King Julien from the ‘Madagascar’ movies. It’s a three-minute video that convinces the kids the New Year has indeed arrived. After watching it, you can tuck them into bed and pour yourself a glass of champagne while you wait for midnight to come ;). This video is also a promo for the new Netflix show ‘All Hail King Julien,’ but you were probably going to have to watch that show anyway, right? LOL
