Creator Of Red Solo Cup Robert Leo Hulseman Passed Away At 84

Whether you knew it or not, Robert Leo Hulseman has had an impact on your life.

On December 21 of this year, the creator of the Red Solo Cup passed away at the age of 84. According to his obituary, he died peacefully and was surrounded by family.

When he was only 18 years old, he began working at his father’s company — the Solo Cup Company — where he eventually became President and CEO before retiring.

Additionally, the Northfield, IL-resident supported a variety of charities related to Catholic education and anti-poverty initiatives.

He was married to his late wife Sheila Murphy Hulseman for nearly 60 years.
