What a flip flopper!
On Monday, Donald Trump dubbed Meryl Streep as “one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood” after the Oscar winner blasted the President-elect in her Golden Globes speech.
However, it may come as a shock to you that the Donald didn’t always feel that way about the 67-year-old — and in an interview last year, he even listed her as one of his favorite actresses!

When receiving the Cecil B. DeMille award on Sunday, the Florence Foster Jenkins star sounded off on Trump’s horrifying “performance” on the campaign trail, specifically when he appeared to mock a disabled reporter at a rally.
Unsurprisingly, the businessman slammed the screen legend on Twitter the next day, calling Streep “over-rated” — but the 70-year-old politician had a much different opinion about the actress in a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
When asked if there are any leading ladies in Hollywood he “loves” to watch, Streep was one of the two stars named by Trump. He said:
“Meryl Streep is excellent. She’s a fine person, too.”
HA! Finally, something we agree with him about!
That was in August 2015, just 16 months ago. So unless Ricki And The Flash changed everything for him, he’s full of crap.

Clearly, these words of praise are far different from Trump’s “opinion” on Streep after she skewered him at the Globes — which all the more supports her point that everything the incoming POTUS says is really just one big, sweaty performance.
But as crazy as Donald is, it’s oddly comforting knowing even he’s not crazy enough to genuinely believe Meryl Streep is “over-rated.”
(BTW, Trump also listed another vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, Julia Roberts, as his favorite actress.)
