Eddie Redmayne is this year’s top dawg!
After years of climbing up the ranks of Hollywood casting shiznits, the Brit actor has finally bagged a lead role that would propel him to Oscar recognition!
The flick referred to is “The Theory of Everything,” where he portrays the role of Stephen Hawking, a scientist who’s battling ALS (or motor neuron disease), a move that just earned him a trophy.
“I am fully aware that I am a lucky, lucky man. This belongs to all of those people around the world battling ALS. It belongs to one exceptional family [the Hawkings]. I will be its custodian. I promise you I will look after him,” Redmayne says on his speech.
