George Clooney is set to star in Gravity, a rep for the actor confirms to Gossip Cop.
The film is about a female astronaut, played by Sandra Bullock, who struggles to survive and make it back to Earth after a disaster in space.
Clooney will replace Robert Downey, Jr. as the team leader of a space station. A rep for Downey tells Gossip Cop that “scheduling” caused him to drop out of the film.
Production is set to begin in next Spring.
