Gwyneth Paltrow Had Plastic Surgery Before Wedding?

A new report alleging Gwyneth Paltrow had drastic plastic surgery before her wedding to Brad Falchuk in September is not true. Gossip Cop can correct this phony claim. Mutual friends of ours and the actress assure us she did not undergo a facelift or have an operation on her nose before her marriage ceremony, as contend by one of this week’s tabloids.

According to the National Enquirer, Paltrow “gave herself a special wedding present, a brand new face.” To make its story sound more credible, the magazine quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “She’s clearly had a bunch of procedures, if not a full face-lift.” The outlet, which has a history of being wrong about the actress, alleges her “fresh mug stunned guests” at her wedding to Falchuk in the Hamptons on September 29.

The publication’s supposed “spy on the scene” claims, “Gwyneth looked so different people gasped.” “That’s the first time I ever saw wedding guests do a double take to make sure they were at the right affair,” adds the often discredited magazine’s unidentified and seemingly made-up source in suspiciously fake-sounding language.

To further push its premise, the supermarket tabloid has a cosmetic surgeon, who’s never treated Paltrow, look at photos it furnished the doctor and asked the physician to speculate on what Paltrow might possibly could’ve had done. The surgeon offers, “It looks like she’s had… some work done on her nose.” Looking at two pictures of her, the doctor shares that it also “looks” like Paltrow had Botox since her “left eyebrow is more arched than her right and far more arched than it previously was.”

In reality, it appears it’s nothing more than the Oscar-winner having different expressions in two separate images. Of course, if she had work done, one eyebrow actually wouldn’t be “more arched” than the other. Technically speaking, they’d both be “more arched.”

Regardless, on Friday Paltrow shared photos from her wedding to Falchuk on her website Goop, and not only does she look exactly the same as before, but also one can see a few creases in her forehead in the pictures, meaning she didn’t even have Botox, let alone a face-lift. A rep for Paltrow went on the record with Gossip Cop to call the tabloid’s account “ridiculous.” Still, we spoke to one of the wedding guests, who told us in no uncertain terms that Paltrow looked “no different.”

The magazine, however, doesn’t have a flawless history when to comes to stories about Paltrow and her marriage. In July, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely maintaining Jennifer Aniston was going to be Paltrow’s maid of honor at her wedding. At the time, we exclusively reported it was “not true,” and of course Aniston wasn’t even at Paltrow’s nuptials in the Hamptons.

It’s also the same tabloid that Gossip Cop exposed earlier in the year when it wrongly asserted Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson were “racing” Paltrow and Falchuk to the altar. That, too, was a complete fabrication. Much like those articles and others, the latest unverified claims about Paltrow having massive plastic surgery before her wedding are also inaccurate.
