Jonah Hill Addresses Gay Slur On Fallon: “Use Me As Example Of What Not To Do”

Jonah Hill, who uttered an gay slur after becoming frustrated with paparazzi in L.A. over the weekend, and then apologized during an interview on Tuesday with Howard Stern, used his appearance later on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to once again say how “deeply sorry” he was.

Hill explained that a paparazzo had been “attacking me personally and my family personally,” and got him so “angry” that he “wanted to hurt him back.”

And so the actor said he then spewed ”the most hurtful word I could think of at that moment,” though he truly “didn’t mean it in a homophobic way.”

“The word I chose was grotesque,” admitted Hill, adding that “no one deserves to say or hear words like that.”

A longtime supporter of the LBGTQ community, Hill acknowledged, “I completely let them down,” and for that he was “deeply sorry.”

“I don’t deserve or expect your forgiveness,” said Hill, who then addressed young people and suggested that when someone hurts them, “Use me as example of what not to do.”

“Don’t respond with hatred or anger,” urged Hill, who felt that it would “just add more ugliness to the world.”
