It’s a rumor so huge, so juicy, and so tabloid-ready, it’s amazing it hasn’t been done before.

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus went out to dinner last night at Ari-Ya in West Hollywood… which means some outlets are sniffing romance!

As Celebuzz puts it, the super-duper-stars enjoyed an “intimate dinner” conspicuously missing Cyrus’ “supposed boyfriend,” Liam Hemsworth. The site is skeptical of Bieber’s saying that he and Cyrus might collaborate on a “side project,” since the two performers reportedly dislike each other’s music.

Yes, they’re an “unlikely couple,” admits Celebuzz, but “perhaps it’s a case of opposites attracting,” or [the lack of professional harmony] is merely “an elaborate ruse to throw people off the scent of their budding romance.”

Imagining the possibilities of what’s going on between Bieber and Cyrus makes the site “dizzy.”

We know the post is partially tongue in cheek (maybe), but the notion behind it (shared by many pieces) is that there’s a real chance Bieber and Cyrus are dating.

A source familiar with the situation wouldn’t give Gossip Cop details about the Bieber-Cyrus meet-up, but assured us it was NOT in any way romantic.
