Kristen Wiig and Scott Speedman are NOT a couple, despite a new claim that the two are “hooking up.”
Gossip Cop is exclusively reporting that there is no truth to the romance rumors, which first began in Canada and then hit the pages of the celebrity weeklies in the U.S.
According to the a story in this week’s issue of In Touch, Wiig and Speedman were talking and holding hands at the after-party for the movie St. Vincent at the Toronto International Film Festival.
A so-called “insider” told the tabloid, Wiig is “totally into Scott,” noting that the actress “couldn’t keep her hands” off of Speedman.
It would be a great story, except a source close to Speedman tells Gossip Cop that he and Wiig are not dating, nor were they ever even holding hands.
Of course, this is the same outlet that falsely claimed Wiig was adopting a baby in 2012.
