Good to see Nick Carter owning up to his actions.
The former DWTS star of course was arrested nearly two weeks ago in Key West, Florida, after allegedly getting into a bar fight — and he even spent the night in jail before being charged with battery.

Now, the 35-year-old Backstreet Boys singer has made his first statement since the arrest, taking to Twitter to own up for his actions in a series of tweets (below):
I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle. I’m not perfect and for that I am sorry.

Carter’s next move will be on February 8 — his arraignment date.

He is facing up to a year in prison, or a year of probation and a $ 1,000 fine.
