Nicki Minaj is stripping down, not for Instagram, but for her music!

The Trinidadian rapper’s latest single, Pills and Potions, certainly carries a new, different, and in her own words, a more “stripped” sound in comparison to her previous musical masterpieces.

This probably isn’t coincidental seeing as how she has been opting for a more natural look too!

Either way, we LOVES it!

Nicki revealed on Twitter that all the songs on her upcoming album, The Pink Print, are true. She tweeted:

Music is that much more AH-Mazing when there’s truth behind it! We just FEEL all the emotion behind Pills and Potions!

The Superbass songstress elaborated more on the sound of her upcoming music:

“It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like… *gasp!*

I always wanted to go to my mixtape look… The stripped down look matches the music.”
