Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are not headed for a split following a “tense” trip to Australia earlier this month, despite a false report. Gossip Cop can correct the bogus story. There’s simply no truth to it.

According to Life & Style, the actress and the country star’s marriage is hanging by a thread just one month after celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary in late June. “Their marriage is like a rollercoaster,” a supposed source tells the outlet. “People would be shocked at the dysfunction – their marriage has gotten really weird at times. Now it seems like the end is finally near.”

Kidman and Urban flew to Sydney with their two daughters in mid-July, but the alleged insider says the couple “had a huge blowup” when the singer went back to the U.S. five days later. “Nicole accused him of rushing home to be around his young musician friends – specifically the female ones,” adds the suspicious tipster. In reality, Urban flew to Michigan to close out the Faster Horses Festival. The country star left the family trip due to work commitments, not to hang out with his pals.

Still, the anonymous source maintains that “jealousy” has been a major issue between the spouses, as Kidman “fears that Keith will leave her for someone younger,” while Urban “hates Nicole’s close, sometimes too chummy friendships with her male co-stars.” The unidentified source also alleges that the couple often lead “separate lives” and have both a “lack of communication” and “trust issues.”

“Nicole and Keith have had trial separations before, but nothing ever changes once they’re back together,” adds the seemingly nonexistent insider. “As the years go by, it becomes more of a struggle to stay together. They just might not be able to do it anymore.”

The outlet’s premise is coming from an unknown and untraceable “source,” but Gossip Cop checked in with Kidman’s spokesperson, who tells us on the record that it’s nonsense. The actress’s rep assures us she’s not having any marriage problems, nor did she and Urban get into any sort of fight in Australia earlier this month. It’s also worth noting, both the actress and the country singer constantly flaunt their love on social media.

This past Sunday, Urban took to Instagram to promote the season 2 finale of “Big Little Lies.” Kidman later shared the photo that her husband had posted, an image of him wearing a shirt with the names of the show’s characters on it, and added a heart emoji. This was just the most recent example of the spouses giving each other social media shoutouts. Naturally, they also posted loving tributes to one another on their 13th wedding anniversary last month.
