We think it’s safe to say that SONY didn’t have the best 2014.
After getting hacked, having private emails made public, and being threatened into cancelling The Interview‘s theatrical release… the studio just had to make their toughest call yet.
Not only will James Franco and Seth Rogen‘s action comedy not be screened in theaters, it seems that it’s never going to be seen at all!

That’s right.
In addition to being bumped out of its Christmas Day release, SONY announced on Wednesday that it doesn’t have plans to make The Interview available on DVD or On Demand either!
While we totally understand the decision considering the hacks and terrorism threats, we do feel bad for everyone who put a lot of hard work into making the film.
It will be interesting to see how the hackers respond to actually getting what they wanted.
