One Man Suffers An Explosion In His Pants & Not The Good Kind! The Flaming iPhone 6 Kind!

One rickshaw ride went up in flames! Yes, rickshaws somehow still exist.

Phillip Lechter of Phoenix, Arizona was riding in a rickshaw while in town for the U of A game, when the rickshaw hit something and tipped over! And that’s when things became explosive.

According to Phillip, the iPhone hit the bar of the rickshaw:

“As the rickshaw tipped, I stepped out like this, and it drove the Apple phone into the bar of the rickshaw… luckily we weren’t injured at all, it was just one of those weird sensations like a roller coaster ride until I realized my pants were on fire..So these were the pants I was wearing…the part had the most heat was the glass, and that was up against my leg…The flames were coming out of the pocket the smoke was coming out of here… it did burn me as I pulled it out.”

It burned you as you pulled it out? We’d get tested STAT!

But in all seriousness, Phillip got second degree burns, but he did get another iPhone 6 for free.

However, he’s yet to receive a call from Apple’s corporate offices. Get on that, Apple.
