(Presidential Inaugural Committee)
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump had their first dance at the Inaugural Ball on Friday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States earlier in the day. After taking the oath of office, Trump delivered his Inaugural Address. He then attended a luncheon, where Trump paid tribute to Hillary Clinton briefly. Later, he and the First Family took part in the Inaugural Parade.
But the day started much earlier for the couple. The Trumps ended a church service first thing Friday morning, before traveling to the White House. There, they were greeted by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and posed for formal photos as a foursome.
The group had a private tea, before traveling to the Capitol together in a motorcade for the swearing-in ceremony. And now, after all that, it’s time to party. The First Couple was set to attend three Inaugural Balls: the Liberty Ball, Freedom Ball and Armed Forces Ball. Entertainment ranged from the Rockettes to gospel singer Chrisette Michele.
But the First Dance was set to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” as performed by Erin Boheme, Nickie Conley and Jason Eskridge. The rendition was originally slated to be led by Paul Anka, but he was ultimately unable to attend. Check out the video below!
