What’s worse than breaking up with your longtime boyfriend?
If you’re Jennifer Love Hewitt, it’s allegedly having that ex use you as fodder for his comedy act.
According to In Touch, Hewitt “is furious” with Jamie Kennedy for “mentioning her onstage in his stand-up comedy.”
A so-called insider alleges, “She told Jamie to cool it, but he’s telling friends he’s not backing down – it’s a free speech issue and he can say whatever he wants.”
Still, the mag claims Hewitt “doesn’t think her ex’s act is very funny: she wants him to shut his trap.”
Sounds like a classic case of he-said, she-said right?
Or, you know, a classic case of not fact-checking.
A rep for Hewitt tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth to the story” of a stand-up stand-off.
In Touch being out of touch? Now that’s something to laugh about.
