“Chelsea has been found and is safe in police custody. Thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren,” she says online.
This was Rosie O’Donnell‘s tweet yesterday after her 17-year-old daughter, Chelsea, was reported missing in New York.
The young girl wasn’t carrying her phone around when she disappeared, but the people she was with willingly cooperated with the police after gaining social media attention.
“Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help, especially the South Nyack, NY and Barneget Light, NJ police departments. Her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell has been located by the police and is safe in their custody,” Rosie’s representatives announce in a statement to E! News.
