“If the twinkling ring on her wedding finger is to be believed, BRITNEY SPEARS is getting hitched for the third time,†reports The Sun.
Of recent there have been a bunch of stories intimating that Spears is ready to walk down the aisle again, mostly because she and her boyfriend Jason Trawick recently vacationed together in Mexico.
But not every story can be based purely on what one sees. The Sun’s latest, “Will Britney tie the knot again,†rests almost entirely on the diamond ring she’s wearing, and the fact that she looks happy (which she is).
The problem here, though, is that Spears has several diamond rings that she likes to wear, but are definitely NOT engagement rings. Plus, Gossip Cop knows for a fact that sometimes Spears likes to toy with the paparazzi.
Nevertheless, we checked the story with a source close to Spears, who told Gossip Cop that a wedding is “not on the horizon†anytime soon.
