Site Puts Words in Seacrest’s Mouth

After a headline that claims, “Ryan Seacrest FINALLY Opens Up About His Relationship With Julianne Hough!” HollywoodLife adds that “Seacrest simply can’t hold back his feelings for girlfriend Julianne Hough any longer. The TV and radio host is finally revealing how he feels about his much-younger lady love!”

Really?

HollywoodLife then writes, “‘I like [Julianne] so much more every single day. I don’t know how it works like that!’ the 35-year-old told Ellen DeGeneres on his radio show Sept. 14 of his 22-year-old girlfriend.”

Nice try, clowns.

Seacrest NEVER said that.

Ellen DeGeneres said that about her love, Portia de Rossi.

The real exchange is even reprinted on Seacrest’s blog: “Ryan asked if Ellen still ‘Likes’ her, Ellen replied, ‘I like her so much more every single day!’”

The furthest Seacrest would go on the subject of Hough, who he never mentioned by name, was responding to Ellen’s comment by stating, “I love that feeling and I know what that feeling might be like. We’ll talk about that when we have dinner.”

HollywoodLife concludes its error-riddled post by writing, “If only we could be a fly on the wall of THAT conversation!”

Yeah, too bad the site just got swatted by Gossip Cop.
