This Mila Kunis Interview Gets REALLY Awkward REALLY Fast — But Is She Being Cold Or Just Candid?

Call it what you want, but either way — it’s uncomfortable!

The usually charming and adorable Mila Kunis got very, VERY testy in her latest interview about her new flick, Third Person.

We’re talking about an interview that rivals Jesse Eisenberg‘s burning words HERE.

During her chat with The Star Ledger, each and every question journalist Stephen Whitty asked was met with some major mix sarcasm and annoyance.

At least, that’s what it seemed like to many.

For instance, when Stephen simply asked how she was feeling, Mila responded:

“I don’t talk about that for publication.”

Ummmm…

…okay. Kind of off-putting. Usually a reporters first throw away question anyway, regardless if the person is preggo or not, but we can see how she might be tired about talking about her baby.

But then the A-lister only got more testy from there!

When asked about her childhood, gurlfriend said:

“I’ve talked about me moving to America in a hundred interviews.”

Okay, sure… but some things you just have to talk about! Daniel Radcliffe will always have to talk Harry Potter and Kim Kardashian will always have to answer for her sex tape. and We know it best get REALLY boring to answer the same questions over and over again, but that’s not Stephen’s fault!

Then again, perhaps this new chapter in her life has made Mila think about the kind of celebrity she wants to me. Maybe she’s not willing to just follow the fold. Maybe she is looking to demand a higher standard to her interviews. And lest us not forget that while these quotes may seem intense, they are still in print. The only people who really know the inflection attached to each comment are Mila and the reporter. So, who knows? Maybe she was just being a straight shooter!

When asked if she is now purposefully choosing more ‘indie’ roles…

“Not really, because in the middle of all that I still did Oz (the Great and Powerful) and I still did Jupiter Ascending, so that sort of destroys your assumption.”

On her native Ukraine:

“I know what your next question is so let’s just skip it. You’re going to ask me what I think about what’s going on now in Ukraine. Just because I lived there until I was seven doesn’t mean I identify with Ukraine.”

On child stardom:

“Honestly asking a nine-year-old why, who knows? It was just a fun thing to do. Other kids take karate, art, gymnastics and I happened to take acting classes, it was just fun. There was nothing else to it. I don’t know if that’s the answer you’re fishing for.”

On That ’70s Show:

“Yeah, it was great. Listen, I went to public high school, I did the show, I loved it. It was eight years of my life, I’ve got nothing bad to say about it.”
