Joaquin Phoenix is engaged! The actor announced that he plans to wed on Monday’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” sharing an amusing tale about his bride-to-be. Watch the video below!

The lucky woman is yoga instructor, and she and Phoenix first met at a class where she taught him “the harnessing of the hog” position. Letterman was in disbelief that that was an actual move, and the Oscar nominee left his seat to demonstrate. “I don’t know if you can see this, but it’s a compromising and vulnerable position,” quipped Phoenix as lay on the studio floor. The movie star explained explain how his fiancée put a strap around him and pulled him up, “so my Julio Iglesias is up next to her goulash, and she’s thrusting, she’s pulling, she’s thrusting me in!” Phoenix learned he was experiencing “emotional back pain,” and went on to tell a shocked Letterman, “This is the crazy part of the story: We started dating. And I think she’s the one. I proposed to her and she said yes.”

Phoenix said he didn’t know what their introduction said about him (but “probably nothing good”), and then nearly choked on his drink when Letterman asked what’s going to happen now that his “hog’s been harnessed.” Interestingly, perhaps wanting some privacy, Phoenix did not reveal the name of his beloved.
