Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have launched an admirable campaign to raise awareness about sex trafficking, with a series of public service announcements featuring Justin Timberlake, Sean Penn, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx and other celebs.
The theme is “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls,” which is, of course, a statement worth all the support it can get.
But many observers are somewhat… confused by the videos’ tone, which strikes some as too humorous/clever/light for the topic.
