Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were spotted enjoying the evening out at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Beverly Hills Wednesday.

Swift has been in L.A. for several guest appearances including a Tuesday night performance on Dancing With The Stars and an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.

Taylor didn’t share many details of her relationship with the Twilight saga star Taylor Lautner.

The two Taylors met on the set of Valentine’s Day, a 2010 romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall.

“Who were your scenes with?” Ellen playfully asks Swift, 19.

Says Swift, “Taylor Lautner.”

“The guy from Twilight?” Ellen teases. “Oh yeah, he’s cute!”

“Yeah,” Swift says, “he is.”

Ellen went on to tease Taylor about catching a hockey game with Lautner and inquired about his kissing skills. Swift bashfully replies, “What?”

Dancing with the Stars contestant Joanna Krupa will be on the cover of the December issue of Playboy, which hits stands Nov. 13.

Krupa shares the honor with talk show host Chelsea Handler, who is doing a holiday guide for the magazine. Handler simply strips down for some skimpy bikini shots while Krupa is featured in an 8-page nude pictorial shot by celebrity photographer Rankin.

Playboy subscribers will receive copies featuring Krupa on the cover while Handler and Krupa’s covers will both hit newsstands on November 13.

“If the twinkling ring on her wedding finger is to be believed, BRITNEY SPEARS is getting hitched for the third time,” reports The Sun.

Of recent there have been a bunch of stories intimating that Spears is ready to walk down the aisle again, mostly because she and her boyfriend Jason Trawick recently vacationed together in Mexico.

But not every story can be based purely on what one sees. The Sun’s latest, “Will Britney tie the knot again,” rests almost entirely on the diamond ring she’s wearing, and the fact that she looks happy (which she is).

The problem here, though, is that Spears has several diamond rings that she likes to wear, but are definitely NOT engagement rings. Plus, Gossip Cop knows for a fact that sometimes Spears likes to toy with the paparazzi.

Nevertheless, we checked the story with a source close to Spears, who told Gossip Cop that a wedding is “not on the horizon” anytime soon.

X17Online declares in a headline, “Lindsay’s Hooking Up With A Male Model.”

And what is this all based on?

Mostly a picture on Twitter that Lohan posted of herself with several other people, including model Petey Wright. X17 says, “as if Lindsay Lohan’s Twitter pic wasn’t enough to get the rumor mill started,” but frankly, if you look at Lohan’s photo that we’ve linked to, Wright — in the white T-shirt — doesn’t seem to have his attention focused on her.

Nevertheless, X17 has an unnamed source saying, “Lindsay was all over Petey during the sexy photo shoot [earlier that day at the Chateau Marmont], and it continued when the shoot ended!”

The photo/news agency says the two went later that night to the L.A. club Wonderland, where another so-called source claimed, “She had her hand on his leg the whole time between kisses.”

Time for Gossip Cop to step in. First, how come the photo agency doesn’t have any pictures of Lohan kissing Wright?

And unlike X17, who used unnamed sources without any proof, and instead strung a story together based on a Twitter picture that Lohan put up of a bunch of people, Gossip Cop actually went to Lohan herself.

As to X17’s assertion that she was “all over Petey during the sexy photo shoot,” Lohan told Gossip Cop, “My photo shoots consist of work and only work.” More importantly, when we asked if it was true that she was hooking up with the model, she simply responded, “NOT.”

For a couple that’s always photographed happy and smiling together, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s biggest marital “frustration” is probably the one they feel toward the tabloids never content to let them be.

Always classy, the National Enquirer has stoked rumors before about Carey and Cannon having pregnancy troubles, and the rag shamelessly stirs the pot again now. The tabs’ “insiders” claim Cannon’s “fed up with her excessive partying and is blaming it for Mariah’s inability to get pregnant, as well as her recent weight gain and bouts of insomnia.” The stress has supposedly left him “struggling to hold their marriage together.”

The Enquirer alleges Carey “got messy” at Cannon’s birthday party in Las Vegas on Oct. 10, and that on another occasion the diva demanded he find a restaurant that would deliver lobster and steak at 2 a.m. When he couldn’t, “Mariah got belligerent and argumentative, but finally fell asleep just as the sun was coming up,” says a source.

As unverifiable, dubious details go, these are certainly vivid. But Gossip Cop prefers facts, and if Cannon is so worried about her “excessive partying” situation, why are he and Carey hosting a Halloween party in New York? Because that we happen to know is true.

A rep for Carey told Gossip Cop the supposed “battle over her boozing” is “not true” and “absolutely absurd.” Once again, it’s the Enquirer that looks to be all wet.
