The Sunday Times has published its annual “Rich List” to great fanfare, and it turns out the keys to early wealth are broomsticks and fangs.

Among the biggest earners under 30 in the United Kingdom are Harry Potter megastars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, while Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson enjoyed a pretty good year, too.

Movies and investments paid Radcliffe a shade under $40 million last year (after the wizard conjured “just” $400,000 or so for the first Potter film), and the Times estimates his current net worth at roughly $65 million.

His co-stars Watson ($34 million) and Grint ($31 million) also have enough saved for a few rainy days.

Crashing the list is Pattinson, whose Twilight-supercharged 2009 pushed his worth to approximately $20 million.

After the massive success of last week’s all-Madonna episode of “Glee,” series creator Ryan Murphy is thinking of bringing some other big names back to school.

Britney Spears‘ manager got the ball rolling by taking to Twitter to gauge interest in a “Britney”-centric installment, and Murphy is “interested.”

“I’ve always loved her. I’m entertaining it,” says Murphy. “I think young kids would like that.”

While nothing has been planned, Murphy is reportedly contemplating episodes that would center around Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, and Courtney Love.

(How’s that for an eclectic group?)

“The key is the songs in the catalogue have to have a certain degree of theatricality,” explains Murphy.

With that in mind, Gossip Cop wants to know which artist YOU want to see given the “Glee” treatment!

Is tomorrow really D-Day for LiLo?

According to TMZ, Michael Lohan has informed the site he’s given daughter Lindsay Lohan an ultimatum to meet with him on Monday — or face legal action that could establish a conservatorship similar to the one Jamie Spears gained over Britney Spears.

But asked about her dad’s supposed plan, Lindsay Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “No, [I’m] not meeting with him!”

Michael is reportedly seeking a face-to-face session with Lindsay, younger daughter Ali Lohan (whom he believes Lindsay endangers), and lawyer Lisa Bloom.

His attempt to mediate a new family arrangement comes after Michael Lohan unexpectedly visited Lindsay’s home on Thursday with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in tow. Michael cited concern for Ali Lohan’s well being.

Gossip Cop will closely monitor the Lohans’ escalating drama.

Despite all the rumors swirling around that Kate Hudson got breast implants – and they were super believable, because Spencer Pratt said so, too – or that she was pregnant, a source close to the actress is saying that Kate’s increased boobage is all natural.

Mazel tov, Kate! You’ve finally reached that special time in a woman’s life where everything turns to crap, although maybe you’ll get some free drinks if you don’t wear your training bra and the bar is cold.

….Oh, fine, she’s just put on some weight. Apparently Kate was devastated by her break-up with Alex Rodriguez, who plays for the Yankees (which, I’m pretty sure, is a hockey team). I don’t get the A-Rod attraction, especially considering that his junk is probably shriveled from steroids/excavating Madonna’s cursed mummy’s tomb. But whatever, she was upset, hiding out from the public, and, what with all her spare time from not having a career or anyone to love her, decided to give that “eating” thing a try.

Frankly, I think she looks fine. She’s probably only gained five or ten pounds, but it’s just noticeable because she’s got a small frame and was very slender to begin with. Keep eating, Kate; what’s the point of having all that money if you’re not going to spend it on sandwiches?

A hush fell across the world today and all eyes turned to Los Angeles, where Lindsay Lohan had been asked to meet with estranged father Michael Lohan to avoid a possible legal conservatorship.

Of course, Gossip Cop exclusively told you yesterday that the face-to-face wasn’t going to happen.

When we asked Lindsay, she said flatly, “No, [I’m] not meeting with him.”

Sure enough, Lindsay and little sister Ali enjoyed a cheerful lunch together this afternoon while a frustrated Michael headed back to New York to enlist the help of Child Protective Services after being “stood up.”

Last week, Michael Lohan and sheriff’s deputies paid an unexpected visit to Lindsay’s home, where Michael claims 16-year-old Ali is in an unsafe environment. At the time, Lindsay told Gossip Cop she intended to get a restraining order against her father, a notion furthered again today by the younger Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley.

Gossip Cop will keep close tabs on the developing drama.

UPDATE – 12:40 PM – 4/25/10

An update on the condition of hospitalized rocker Bret Michaels has just been posted to his official Facebook page:

“Everyone at Michaels Entertainment would like to thank all fans and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

At this point Bret remains in ICU in critical condition. He is under 24 hour doctors care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.”

The Poison frontman was rushed to the hospital late Thursday after a massive brain hemorrhage.

Gossip Cop will monitor the situation and hopes to report encouraging news very soon.

UPDATE – 9:00 PM – 4/24/10

Bret Michaels remains in critical condition.

Because of inaccurate reports, the singer’s manager, Janna Elias, issued a statement.

According to Elias, who is by Michaels’ hospital bedside, “There are several incorrect reports on Bret’s condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days.”

Earlier accounts had Michaels stable, awake, and talking.

Season 2 winner of “Rock of Love,” Ambre Lake, said she had spoken with people “who are close to Bret who say he’s stablized and conscious,” claimed TMZ, which cited a second source who relayed a similarly encouraging update.

And RadarOnline reported that Michaels’ dad, Wally Sychak, told the site his son was talking and feeling fine.

“I talked to him this morning,” Sychak was quoted as saying, adding, “He sounded upbeat and positive but they had him sedated… but he’s doing good. He sounded like my son.”

The reality, however, as Michaels’ manager noted, is that the singer is still in “critical condition.”

Bret Michaels has been rushed to the hospital following a massive brain hemorrhage, according to reports.

The Poison rocker and reality TV star is said to have suffered a terrible headache late Thursday night. He is in “critical condition,” according to People.com, with what doctors term a “massive subarachnoid hemorrhage.”

Currently a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice,” Michaels is reportedly being kept in the intensive care unit.

Michaels, who is diabetic, had an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio on April 12. It is not known at this time whether the most recent emergency stems from either the surgery earlier this month or his diabetes.

As predicted, fifth-week holdover How To Train Your Dragon came back to beat new release The Back-up Plan for the weekend box office crown, according to current estimates.

The animated adventure racked up between $14.5 and $15 million to continue its impressive run.

Meanwhile, the much-hyped Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy opened with roughly $12.3 million for second place, while fellow newcomer The Losers may wind up in fifth place with just $9.3 million, behind Date Night ($10.5 million) and Kick-Ass ($9.5 million).

Gossip Cop will update should the numbers continue to shift.

Jennifer Lopez is on top of the current weekend box office projections, but might be feeling the competition breathing fire down her neck.

The Back-up Plan, starring Lopez, earned an estimated $4.2 million on Friday to lead the night, but How To Train Your Dragon, the animated flick that’s held up remarkably well for five weeks, earned about $3.6 million and could end up as the #1 flick.

Current projections hand the weekend to Dragon (with about $15.5 million by Sunday night), trailed by The Back-up Plan ($12 million), and holdover Date Night ($10 million).

Action film The Losers is expected to earn roughly $9 million for fourth place, followed by the controversial Kick-Ass at #5.

Again, these are only estimates. Gossip Cop will have updates figures when available.
