Lindsay Lohan has spoken exclusively to Gossip Cop after her father’s Twitter account allegedly claimed that she is HIV positive.
In tasteless, since-deleted tweets that he says are the work of a hacker, Michael Lohan allegedly tweeted that Lindsay is “living with HIV” and had an affair with music mogul Tommy Mottola when she was 17.
“He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter, and everywhere else!” Lohan tells Gossip Cop.
“He just want money – and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding.”
Lindsay’s response comes after two supposed tweets on Michael Lohan’s account earlier today.
“It’s time you learned the truth,” wrote Michael Lohan. “The truth about Tommy Motolla (sic) engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter.”
He allegedly followed with this stunner: “The truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made,” before erasing both messages.
In recent days, the Lohans have engaged in a very public fight laced with accusations and mutual threats of legal action. Michael Lohan claims to fear for the well being of younger daughter Ali Lohan under Lindsay’s watch, and reportedly is seeking a conservatorship over Lindsay. The sisters and mother Dina Lohan wish to enact restraining orders against Michael.
Gossip Cop reached out to Michael Lohan, but he did not respond.

Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse suffered bruised ribs and a cut above her eye after falling at home, her spokesman confirms.
On Saturday, the Grammy winner tripped and fell at her house in north London. She is recovering at a private clinic in the city and is expected to be fine.
Winehouse has had well publicized struggles with alcohol, on occasion leading outlets to report (wrongly) that she’d been hospitalized.
The circumstances of her weekend accident are not known.

The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys and Sheryl Crow are among the eclectic group of performers set to take the stage for the “Good Morning America Summer Concert Series.”
The weekly event will kick off in New York’s Central Park on May 21 with the Jonas Brothers and Lovato, all of whom will make a second appearance in mid-August. Other scheduled performers include Sugarland, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna, with more still to be announced.

Far be it from Gossip Cop to have doubts about a story that starts with News of the World.
Its track record is sterling.
After all, it’s the outlet that told us a “Friends” reunion movie was in the works (wrong), Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were engaged (wrong again), Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had split (keep trying), and Madonna fills her radiators with Kabbalah water (yikes, oh-for-four).
On second thought… maybe we should have significant doubts about News of the World’s “reporting.”
The paper’s newest adventure in sloppy speculation claims Sarah Jessica Parker’s friends “are worried about her health” and how “frighteningly gaunt” she’s become.
A “pal” tells News the “extreme” weight loss comes down to “complete and utter stress” over the release of Sex and the City 2. Promoting the sequel is “getting to its main star” and, says one “colleague,” it’s “affecting her ability to eat.”
What’s more, Parker allegedly spends “an hour EVERY day doing pilates.”
Exercising daily? That’s just crazy!
In any case, claims that Parker’s friends are concerned about her health are absurd. A source close to the actress called the story “ridiculous” and assures Gossip Cop Parker is healthy and happy.
Still no word on what she does with Kabbalah water, though.

Police arrested mixed martial arts star Tito Ortiz today on suspicion of domestic violence.
Jenna Jameson, with whom Ortiz has twin one-year-old boys, told reporters she was “completely shocked” and planned to press charges against her longtime partner. She claimed Ortiz had “lashed out” in a confrontation that left Jameson feeling “betrayed.”
The adult film actress-turned-entrepreneur is believed to have filed a restraining order against Ortiz already.
Authorities took Ortiz into custody at the couple’s Huntington Beach, CA residence after responding to a 911 call reportedly placed by Jameson’s father at 9:53 AM. Police cannot make a domestic violence arrest unless the victim displays a “visible injury.”
Ortiz was jailed in Huntington Beach but later released after posting $25,000 bail.
He and Jameson have been in a relationship since 2006. Their two sons were born in March 2009.

There have been rumblings all day that Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning might head Down Under.
According to buzz, the two stars of The Runaways “may make an appearance” at the Sydney Film Festival in June, when the film has its Australian premiere. A “source” close to festival organizers claims there have been talks about orchestrating a visit by the Twilight twosome (as well as Ewan McGregor), but that nothing had been determined.
Gossip Cop has gotten to the bottom of supposed Aussie travel for Stewart before, so we wanted to vet the newest rumors.
While we’re trying to confirm Stewart’s plans, a rep for Fanning was “completely unaware” of the Sydney event.

With a Friday deadline looming, the campaign to save the Hollywood sign met its goal after a Playboy push.
Hugh Hefner provided the last $900,000 of the $12.5 million needed to buy 138 acres on Cahuenga Peak, where the iconic sign is located. Real estate investors had planned to build on the hallowed ground until a fundraising drive spearheaded by The Trust for Public Land saved the property from private development.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger referred to the last-minute sign salvation as “the Hollywood ending we hoped for.”
Hefner, a well-known film buff, called the famous letters “Hollywood’s Eiffel Tower,” and was eager to do his part. “My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies,” said the Playboy founder. “The images created in Hollywood had a major influence on my life.”
The land wound up in the hands of Chicago real estate investors in 2002 and was zoned for luxury homes.

Donald Trump believes Bret Michaels is in serious trouble after the “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant’s brain hemorrhage, according to a report.
The business icon tells TMZ he’s been in contact with people at the hospital where Michaels is in critical condition, and that the rocker is in “big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great.”
Michaels suffered the hemorrhage late Thursday. His team has posted intermittent updates, noting yesterday that doctors hadn’t yet located the source of Michaels’ bleeding but remained hopeful.
Speaking of the Poison frontman’s stint on “Apprentice,” Trump says, “He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life.”
Gossip Cop will continue to monitor Michaels’ health. We hope the news will be good.
