It’s official, Thor has a full length 5 minute trailer that’s quite simply put…Awesome!

The trailer debuted at SDCC this year and ever since Comic-Con fans have went into a tizzy and the trailer has been circling the web at viral rates.

The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Thor’s father.

Watch the video below before it gets pulled by the studio for copyright infringement.

Thor premieres in theaters May 6, 2011.

Sony Pictures has announced that actresses Tina Fey and Meryl Streep are teaming up for a mother/daughter flick called Mommy and Me.

The film is set to be directed by acting vet Stanley Tucci who has worked on various projects with Streep including 2008’s Julie & Julia and the comedic hit The Devil Wears Prada.

Tucci has previously directed Joe Gould’s Secret and Big Night.

The movie centers around how a mother and daughter interact in the always interesting mother/daughter relationship…give the fact the movie stars Tina Fey as half the equation, it’s sure to be a funny one to watch for.

Socialite Christie Brinkley has put her New York Long Island mansion up for sale with a price tag of $15.75 million.

The home, located by the island’s Sag Harbor eastern end includes five-bedroom on the waterfront.

The home was constructred in 1843 and offers 327 feet of beachfront.

The 56-year-old Brinkley has been featured on more than 500 magazine covers and she originally purchased the home in 2004 for the price of $7.15 million.

The life of Grateful Dead singer and guitarist Jerry Garcia is coming to the silver screen with a new biopic that’s currently in the works.

Director Amir Bar-Lev, director of The Tillman Story has already signed on to direct the film which is still labeled as “in the works.”

The movie centers around the singers time with his band and is based off the script Robert Greenfield’s Dark Star: An Oral Biography on Jerry Garcia.

Greenfield told Rolling Stone Magazine:

“I don’t think Jerry is easily understood.” adding “I think he’s a complex human being. After a certain point, everyone had their own vision of Jerry. This film is about who he really was before people made him what they wanted him to be.”

I hope the movies in 3D, they could do some very trippy things with the Dead’s music and 3D capabilities.

Disney is preparing to release the cartoon version of Beauty And The Beast on DVD for the first time in 19 years, now they have also announced that the release will coincide with a re-release of the classic cartoon, this time in 3D.

Beauty And The Beast debuted in 1991 to rave reviews and huge box office numbers, it will be interesting to see how the movie does when it arrives in 3D form come August.

Ellen DeGeneres is officially out of “American Idol,” because she “hated being critical,” says a source familiar with negotiations.

In fact, Gossip Cop hears she asked to be released from her contract the day last season ended, but was told there was no chance unless they found another panel.

Which brings us to today’s HUGE news.

Gossip Cop hears from a reliable source that offers have been made to Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

A lot can happen between tonight and the announcement, expected at Fox’s TCA Press Tour presentation on Monday, but as of now we’re told the two have been tapped to be the new “American Idol” judges.

Reps for Lopez and Tyler did not return calls, and a rep for “American Idol” issued a “no comment.”

Lindsay Lohan got a visit on Thursday from lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who is not “exactly sure” when her client will be leaving jail but said she’s “fine, she’s good.”

“She’s looking forward to her release, said Chapman Holley after her hour with Lohan at the correctional facility in Lynwood. “It’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

The starlet’s mom Dina, sister Ali and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson also stopped to see her on Thursday. Fans of the actress were expected to show up for a public demonstration of support as well.

According to reports, Lohan met recently with representatives from rehab facilities. She’ll be attending an inpatient program after her release from jail.

Lohan could be released as early as Sunday. Do you think she served enough time?

In Touch took a short break from obsessing over teenage breasts to take a stab at relationship reporting.

It did not go well.

“They’ve been broken up for months and are even dating other people, but Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy haven’t given up on their relationship,” claims the tabloid.

Carrey and McCarthy, who tweeted their breakup back in April, are “trying to work things out and have turned to a professional relationship expert” in an effort to reconcile, a “friend” tells In Touch.

“It’s a long shot at best,” a source admits.

Well, “long shot” is one way of putting it when a magazine tries to fill space by hurling a baseless rumor at the wall and hoping it sticks.

A source close to Carrey tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true.”

Like Carrey’s Ace Ventura character, In Touch is just talking out of its butt.

“Big Mouth QB Reveals He’ll Be Dancing Next Season,” reads a headline on Perez Hilton.

The bad blogger reports that “Big Mouth,” otherwise known as NFL legend Troy Aikman, told paparazzi he’ll be a “Dancing With The Stars” contestant.

“Chances are, if this is true, execs are going to be none-too-pleased with Troy for breaking the news,” speculates Hilton. “Or maybe he’s just making the whole thing up.”

While “making the whole thing up” is often a phrase Gossip Cop associates with Hilton himself, it turns out Aikman was just joking with the paps.

Unlike Hilton, Gossip Cop actually fact-checks stories, and we confirmed through show sources that there are no plans for Aikman to appear on the dancing competition program that his former Dallas Cowboys teammate Emmitt Smith won in 2006.

Lindsay Lohan has met with representatives from rehabilitation facilities as she comes to the end of her jail stint, according to a report.

The starlet and officials from multiple rehab alternatives met last weekend at Lynwood Correctional Facility, TMZ is claiming, although it is still not clear whether Judge Marsha Revel will allow Lohan a short period of freedom between jail and rehab.

Ultimately, the decision about where the actress goes is in the hands of two psychiatrists appointed by the court.

Lohan, meanwhile, will be getting more (albeit unofficial) visitors later today, when fans converge on Lynwood for a demonstration of support.
