Adrianne Palicki has been tapped to star as the title character in the pilot for NBC’s new “Wonder Woman.”

The show, based on the DC Comic character, is about Diane Prince (Palicki), who balances her life being a crime fighter and a successful corporate executive.

Palicki, who was on “Friday Night Lights,” can next be seen in the remake of Red Dawn.

The original “Wonder Woman” series ran in the 1970s and starred Lynda Carter.
