Lindsay Lohan was slated to present the Top Ten list on Thursday’s “The Late Show with David Letterman,” according to the show’s head writer Justin Stangel.
Stangel even tweeted, “BREAKING @LindsayLohan will be presenting the Top Ten List on Thursday’s @Late_Show #Letterman.”
And a source close to the show confirmed to Gossip Cop that the actress would be on a satellite feed from Los Angeles for the comedic countdown.
But now Lohan herself tells us she “never” said she was going to do the Top Ten.
Gossip Cop is looking into what happened.

Lara Logan of CBS News was the victim of “brutal and sustained sexual assault” while covering the celebrations in Egypt last Friday.
While reporting for “60 Minutes” in Cairo’s Tahrir Square after Hosni Mubarak stepped down as the country’s president, Logan became separated from her crew.
“She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers,” said CBS News in a statement.
Logan eventually reconnected with her team and returned to the United States on Saturday.
She is currently recovering in a hospital.

O.J. Simpson was attacked by a white supremacist in a prison yard, claims the National Enquirer; however, the story is NOT true.
The Enquirer reports that the former football great was “brutally beaten” by a skinhead at Lovelock Correctional Center, where he is currently serving a sentence for armed robbery.
“Inmates cheered as a muscular young skinhead knocked him to the ground, punching and kicking him to a bloody pulp and inflicting injuries so severe he secretly spent nearly three weeks in the infirmary before he recovered,” writes the tab.
The alleged incident grew out of the former Heisman trophy winner reportedly bragging about “his sexual conquests of beautiful white women.”
A spokesman for the Nevada Department of Corrections, however, tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth” to the Enquirer report, adding that there was “no incident at all” and “O.J.’s fine and healthy.”

Mickey Rooney was issued a restraining order today against his stepson Christopher Aber.
The order was granted by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz, who is making Aber stay at least 100 yards from Rooney and his home.
According to a petition filed on behalf of the 90-year-old actor, Aber “threatens, intimidates, bullies and harasses Mickey… [who] is effectively a prisoner in his home.”
The filing also noted that Rooney is afraid his stepson is trying to gain access to his assets and have him sign over certain rights, including forcing him to make public appearances at events he doesn’t want to attend.
“Mickey is extremely fearful that Chris will become physically threatening against Mickey and may even attempt to kidnap Mickey from his home, where Mickey has lived for over 15 years and wishes to continue residing,” reads the actor’s petition.
The court papers go on to claim, “Chris has blocked Mickey’s access to his mail and will not provide Mickey with any information about his finances other than to tell him that Mickey is broke.” The filing also states that Aber has “deprived Mickey of medications he needs and daily necessities, including food,” and has grabbed his medical insurance cards and passport.
A restraining order was similarly issued against Christopher Aber’s wife Christina.
