A guitar played by Eddie Van Halen was donated this week to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

The “Frank 2″ guitar was donated to the museum on Monday and was used by Van Halen during the 2007-2008 North American tour with David Lee Roth as lead singer.

The guitar, colored in red, white and black is a replica of the original “Frankenstein” guitar that Van Halen originally used when touring, tours that spanned more than 30 tours.

The original Frankenstein guitar was built by Van Halen to meet his own performance needs.

At this time the guitar is not slated for public display and officials have not said whether it would be put out for public viewing anytime soon.

If you’re a fan of Dudley Moore’s 1981 comedy classic Arthur you’ll want to check out the trailer below for an upcoming remake of the movie which features the very funny Russell Brand and the always capable Helen Mirren and Luis Guzman.

The movie hits theaters on April 8 with Brand playing the drunken billionaire who will lose his inheritance if he doesn’t marry the woman his family has chosen for him, a role played by another actress favorite of mine, Jennifer Garner.

Wow! Vanessa Hudgens sure has come a long way since strutting her stuff in High School Musical. The 22-year-old actress recently shot some steamy photos for Details Magazine and we have the goods.

The March edition of the magazine is set to hit store shelves on February 15 where Hudgens talks about her upcoming movie Sucker Punch and her lead role in Journey To The Center Of The Earth.

Speaking about her role with Michael Caine Hudgens tells Details Magazine:

“[Michael] is uh-mazing. Not only is he uh-mazingly, stupidly talented, but he still kind of hits on me. All the time. If it was anybody else, I’d be like ‘Who the hell do you think you are?’ But because it’s Michael Caine, I’m like, ‘Sock it to me more, baby, come on!’ I frickin’ love him.”
