“Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are embroiled in a nasty sibling rivalry – but not with each other,” reads the opening of a National Enquirer story.

According to the tab, the twins are “boiling with jealousy” over little sister Elizabeth’s newfound success.

As you’ll recall, the younger Olsen was the darling of the Sundance Film Festival, thanks to her starring roles in the films Silent House and the much touted Martha Marcy May Marlene. She’s also been tapped to star in the Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver thriller, Red Lights.

Anyway, the Enquirer claims the twins are “filled with envy and regret over their failing to make the transition to big features films” like their kid sister.

Adds the so-called “insider”: “Mary-Kate and Ashley love Elizabeth. But they hate being eclipsed by her.”

Really?

Not at all.

A source close to the twins tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer’s article is “totally ridiculous… They are all very close.”
